What I didn't like at Sears was the people are obviously on commission and I don't they work that well together. There was one woman who was, she was Chinese and I know a lot of Chinese way cause I had a neighbor who is Chinese is to yell at you they do it's they talk and I just really it's doesn't settle well with me, she was just, it's just the approach it's like she is yelling at you when you ask a question and she is not smiling and she's not being acting cordially she's yelling and she seem to be annoyed.

It look a long time even though the place was not very crowded. The price for the two tires purchased was ok for what was purchased. Balancing the tires was done wrong - my co-worker ended up bringing the car to his own service place to get it redone. One good thing about Sears is their tire protection plan - I bought tires from Sears in Burlington around five years and had a much better experience than what I witnessed in Braintree. And I ended up using the protection plan - no complaints or problems at all with it.
Description of Work: I was with a co-worker who blew out a tire one day. We had an incredibly long wait. The service people were friendly and the work was eventually done.

What a frustrating experience! I called on May 29, and they scheduled a visit for June 3. (I used the Live Chat to schedule, and that was not a great experience, as I felt that the woman kept trying to up-sell me. But it seemed pretty fast so I scheduled it. The bad news was, the repairman told us the motor was shot, so he ordered the part and scheduled another appointment for two weeks(!) later. Said it was going to cost $360. Not happy with the amount, and with being without the washing machine from May 29 to June 17, but it was better than buying a new one. The part came in the mail, and he came back on the scheduled date. The problem was, he said it was the wrong part, so once again, he came without fixing it! (Not sure if he ordered wrong or LG made a mistake in shipping; probably he ordered wrong). He ordered yet another part, and made another appointment for another 10 days later. This time, another repairman showed up, fortunately. It turns out the first guy was totally wrong, the motor wasn't burned out, it was just a sensor. The second guy was able to fix it with parts he had in his truck. He sent back the second wrong part, and charged us $220 instead of $360. Seemed pretty steep to replace a sensor after making us wait for nearly a month, but at least the price went down instead of up! I would have given them an "F" for making me go without my washing machine for nearly a month for no reason other than the first repair guy's incompetence, but at least they finally sent someone else who was able to fix it, and it didn't cost as much as the first guy said it would. So I'll give them a "D". But I would never call them again. This review is for searshomeservices.com (1-800-424-2047). I put it under this entry because it was the Sears appliance repair entry already in the Angies' List database that is closest to my home.

The salesmen went through everything, but wasn’t pushy. They gave us a wide range of delivery times and showed up when they said they would. They had a wonderful selection of models. The guys who did the delivery were very professional. The delivery men were properly appreciative that my husband and son-in-law had properly prepared for the delivery.
Description of Work: Our refrigerator died. We got very good service from them. The model we wanted was there.

I walked in without an appointment, was seen by the doctor, chose frames, and two weeks later I have glasses that work and look great. It was easy to do along with other errands at the mall.

I did not use them after that and found someone else. I would never use them again. Their price quotes was higher than the other companies as well.
Description of Work: I tried to use Sears – Braintree three weeks ago and set up an appointment online. They gave me a four hour windows and two hours into it I called for an update and the woman said that they should be here in an hour and a half or so. I called them again an hour and a half later and she did not really know anything because the window was over. I called them again and they never called me or updated me. Their service man never called me though he said he would. They never showed up. I then told them that I wanted somebody at 8 o’clock the next day and they said they can request that but cannot guarantee that.
