Ramos Construction

After several delays due to rain, the Ramos crew completed the job of sanding my ipe wooden deck. They worked very hard and did an excellent job and also a good clean up of the site. My deck looks fantastic and Iâ m happy to give them a 5 star rating.

Ramos Construction was hired to seal my deck. They came late in the fall and power washed it. The weather got bad and we waited until June to get it sealed. Foolishly, they were paid in full in the fall for the work they did not do. In June, they came by and put one coat on the deck and stairs but it should have been done again from the beginning. These experts should have known it was too late in the fall to do it but they did it anyway. Then they did not do the railings surrounding the deck or most of railings for the stairs. The deck has not been done in years and needs two coats. They will not do a second coat, and the first coat was a hurry up and leave without finishing what the said the were going to do (railings, etc). They are disingenuous, dishonest and are not true to their word. While I admit paying them was stupid and gave away any leverage, this tells you something about the character of the owners of this company. Be very careful using this company, as if anything goes a little sideways, they will screw you. In June, the owner was rude when telling her that her worker was sneaking out before the job was done. These are the type of people you are dealing with if you hire them. Risky business hiring them.

They did a fine job including responding to unexpected problems without going over the estimate. I would highly recommend them!!

Highly recommend! Great work at a reasonable price. Great communication. I have a very large wooden deck. Maisa and company replaced 10 boards, sanded, power washed and sealed. Very happy and I am having Maisa replace an exterior door to my basement in-law.

The project included sanding, scraping and painting our deck, it came out beautiful and they also power washed the back of the house. Very prompt and thorough.

Extremely professional, sent proof of insurance and estimate immediately. Went above and beyond what I was expecting. Photos of supplies they purchased needed in order to do the job etc. highly recommend! No hidden costs.

Very timely and efficient

Maisa contacted me in less than 24 hours of reaching out to them. She came and gave me an affordable estimate. Way less than other companies had. She was nice and genuine hard working person. The team came and had the job done in less than 6 days of reaching out! I had a deck about 6 years old that was never stained. It looked so bad and i was scared i would have to replace the deck within the next few years. When they were done with power washing and staining it looked brand new. I am so happy and thankful to have found such a genuine company to help restore our deck ! I would definitely hire them again!

The price was significantly lower than other estimates I received, the workmanship was excellent and they arrived the day after I hired them, did the job and finished up quickly. Maisa from Ramos Construction immediately scheduled a site visit and assessed the work to be done, and provided an estimate. After I decided to hire them, they arrived the very next morning at 7:20 a.m. and worked throughout the day to complete the project. I was kept informed of any issues that arose along the way. Good work, final bill consistent with estimate.

We had a very old deck in need of major repair and I got a few estimates but when I spoke to Maisa from Ramos Construction I felt very comfortable talking with her. She is very knowledgeable and honest. Kept us informed on everything. No surprises! The men are very hard working, polite, and went above and beyond! We even had 2 doors and 2 storm doors put in and the gentleman that did the job was amazing! He was here all day on a Saturday and didn't stop till they were installed! Very hard workers and very clean. They just did a mudroom porch for me and it was exactly what I had asked for and other than the brand new porch they put on you would never know I had anyone there working. They cleaned the entire place and even put the decorations I had on my old porch back up in the same place on the new porch. I was very happy with their work !!

We were looking to have our old deck rebuilt and after getting several estimates decided to go with Ramos Construction. Maisa gave us an estimate and a timeline of what we could expect. It was a pleasure working with her. The job was done in the timeframe she promised and the work was excellent. They found some unexpected issues and repaired them. They cleaned up every day and upon completion we were very happy with the work. Highly recommend them and will hire them again for other projects.

Being a lawyer I am used to dealing with professionals and the Ramos Company is one of the most professional contractors I've ever dealt with. Maisa, one of the principals, inspected our porch and told us exactly what had tone done, quoted a reasonable cost , time for completion. The workers came at the specified time with all materials , completed the job and cleaned up perfectly. I would recommend this company at the highest and in fact are preparing to contact them for another home project.

They responded to texts promptly and kept me informed. Always showed up when they said they would, and worked efficiently throughout the day. They demolished, framed, and finished my small farmer's porch within 10 days - including waiting for inspections, waiting for footings to set, waiting for dumpster delivery, etc. - and actually completed most of the work in just a few days. Cleaned up well at the end of each workday. Went out of their way to find spindles and lattice that match my back porch. They responded to a minor complaint about the finished job within half an hour and corrected it immediately. Very professional, top-quality work. I will certainly call them again to bid on future projects.

Ramos is great..I needed a porch railing installed in a pinch and the owner and their team quickly responded to my project inquiry and job turnaround was swift and efficient with great success and exceptional results..I will hire them again for home improvement projects and highly recommend. Price was also fair and a great value for expedited completion
