Description of Work: I got fan I wanted, good quality and he had patch the ceiling too. He checked for mold in my attic and stayed longer and did outside lights, upgraded plugs inside, installed a ceiling light and looked at old wiring and made recommendations.  + -1 moreIt went very well. Matt got in touch shortly after I purchased the Big Deal and we quickly settled on a day and time. He showed up 30 minutes early and immediately got to work. We chatted most of the time while he installed the surge protector. He was polite and professional, and very efficient. (He also correctly diagnosed a non-working outlet as a switched outlet, which I hadn't considered since it was in an unusual location.) I would definitely use him again.

After replacing my vanity lights in the bathroom I assured him that two other light fixtures (that I can't reach) were broken. Turned out they just needed light bulbs, but he had a sense of humor about it. I will definitely call Matt again when the light bulbs need to be changed!

 + -1 moreWe contacted Matt Foley and arranged for him to check out/fix the 220 line into our A/C. Our original appointment was for evening time. Matt was running late on a job and arranged to come the next day. He showed up promptly. He opened up the outside panel and found melted breakers and burned wires. He gave us a reasonable quote and within a couple of hours had replaces the box, panel and wiring. He was good to work with, prompt, and kept his appointments. we highly recommend Matt Foley.

They were quick; quick to respond and they showed up at the time they said they were going to. However, we are actually selling our house and we didn't need the electrical work, so we are not using any of the electricians that we had contacted. They were thorough; told us exactly what we needed within the house and didn't ask for any extras. He more or less listened to me; I told him what we needed and he gave me an estimate just on that job. It was within 50 minutes - I was surprised it was that quick.

Matt was prompt, his work product was excellent, he took the lead in arranging for an inspection on the first day that services were performed, and he was pleasant and easy to get along with. I would hire him again without hesitation.
Description of Work: Matt installed a subpanel; he ran an underground feed for a pool, chlorine generator, and heater; he installed two receptacles; and he installed an Intermatic timer and relay for the pool and generator.

When asked him if he could do the job on a Saturday he said it would be no problem. He surveyed the area and said he could not install the outlet on the concrete wall but explained another option to me and how it would work. We agreed on this option and he was very quick and efficient and left the space cleaner than when he started. I would defiantly use Matt again and would highly recommend him to anyone!

 + -1 moreAfter waiting for many local businesses to show up and quote the job, I finally gave up and called Matt Foley- Foley Electrical in Braintree for the work to be performed. I couldn't be happier with the results. In one day, he transformed my living room from the dark side to a true arena- recessed lighting, wall sconces evenly spaced and dimmer switches to control the lighting. He knows what the customer wants and delivers the right product. After our initial contract, I had him back to replace my overloaded panel with a new 220A panel/generator hookup and he did it with ease. He followed through with the initial contract, cleaned as his crew went and exibited the utmost professionalism. I recommended Matt Foley - Braintree any time someone asks me who they should call for their electrical needs.
Description of Work: After calling many local businesses and not receiving a response, I called on Matt and his team who are true professionals. He arrived with clipboard in hand, wrote down every item/estimate to install sconces, tv on the wall and recessed lighting. After our initial contract, I had him back to install a new panel with dedicated 50 AMP plug for the generator. He was tireless in answering my calls and delivering excellent service. His crew was professional, clean and dedicated to the service I requested. His team transformed my living room from the dark to the light- complete with dimmer recessed lighting and wall sconces and leveled the flat screen tv on the wall. After our initial contract, I had him back to install a dedicated circut for my generator. Again, clean, professional and honored the initial quote. His team was professional in communication, work and followed up in cleaning and presenting a top notch product. In conclusion, I have found my new electrician for big and small jobs on the South Shore.
