Description of Work: Bottom line: Require this firm to pull the permit it promises to pull (but did not pull for work performed on a number of homes in my town). You will need the town inspector on your side to do a thorough "independent" inspection. Set money aside money on the chance you need to have another company fix Associate's shoddy and incomplete work. The errors and missed steps on our home were extensive. The company was unwilling or incapable of fixing its own issues. Tracing leaks in pouring rain is unpleasant and extremely stressful. Finding another company to fix Associate's work was also very time consuming and difficult. Beware of positive reviews and a stack of happy customer references. Any volume-business company can find some happy customers and unhappy customers are often too worn out to bother posting.

+ -1 moreDID AN EXCELLENT AND SPEEDY JOB. ALMOST EVERYTHING WAS COMPLETED IN LESS THAN THREE WORKING DAYS. NEIGHBORS WERE AMAZED AT THE SPEED. VERY GOOD CLEAN UP AT THE END OF EACH DAY, AND THE END OF THE JOB. NEIGHBORS WITHIN 8 FEET OF OUR HOUSE CALLED TO SAY HOW PLEASED THEY WERE WITH THE MINIMAL DISRUPTION TO THEM, AND THE EXCELLENT CLEAN UP. GARDEN AREA WELL PROTECTED AND NOT DAMAGED. ONE PIECE OF VINYL SIDING THAT WAS DAMAGED ON REMOVAL DELAYED THE FINAL COMPLETION FOR A FEW DAYS, BECAUSE THE BRAND HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED AND THEY HAD TO MAKE A REPLACEMENT PIECE. VERY HAPPY WITH THE WORK.
Description of Work: REMOVED SEVERAL LAYERS OF SHINGLES, AND INSTALLED NEW ROOFING. HOUSE IS A COLONIAL, 2 STORY HOUSE, WITH FINISHED THIRD FLOOR WITH DORMERS. REQUIRED TO REMOVE AND REPLACE VINYL SIDING ON DORMERS TO PROPERLY FLASH AND INSTALL NEW ROOFING. REQUIRED TO NOT DAMAGE GARDEN AREAS AROUND HOUSE, AND NOT ANGER OUR NEIGHBORS WHO ARE CLOSE BY IN THE CITY.

WE FOUND PAUL TO BE PLEASANT TO DEAL WITH, PROFESSIONAL AND STRAIGHT-FORWARD. HE WAS ALSO ALWAYS AVAILABLE BY PHONE. THE PROJECT BEGAN AND ENDED ON TIME. THE COST, WHILE NOT THE CHEAPEST, WAS REASONABLE AND COMPETITIVE WITH OTHER QUALITY ROOFERS. THE PROJECT CAME IN ON BUDGET. OBSTACLES WERE DEALT WITH PROMPTLY AND EFFICIENTLY. THE CREW WAS FRIENDLY, POLITE AND SEEMED TO ENJOY THEIR WORK. THEY CLEANED UP EFFECTIVELY. OVERALL, ASSOCIATES WERE A PLEASURE TO DEAL WITH AND THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. WE WERE VERY SATISFIED AND WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.

+ -1 morePAUL GAVE US A QUOTE AND TIME SCHEDULE FOR REMOVING OUR OLD SHINGLES (ALL THE LAYERS), ADDING A VENTING SYSTEM WHICH WORKED WITH THE HISTORIC QUALITIES WE WERE TRYING TO PRESERVE, AND ADDING NEW SHINGLES. IN ADDITION, HE DESCRIBED THE PROCESS VERY ACCURATELY AND IN DETAIL, WHICH WAS VERY ASSURING. WE WERE CONCERNED ABOUT PRESERVING THE HISTORIC CHARACTER OF OUR HOME. WE WERE VERY IMPRESSED, PLUS THE PACKET OF INFORMATION WITH INSURANCE, RECOMMENDATIONS AND WORK SAMPLES WAS TERRIFIC. WE HAD FULL CONFIDENCE IN THE PROJECT. THE CREWS CAME AT THE TIME PLANNED AND PERFORMED THE WORK AS DESCRIBED. IT WAS VERY EASY AND PAINLESS. ASSOCIATE ROOFING DID A TERRIFIC JOB FOR US AND WAS VERY RESPONSIVE TO OUR CONCERNS.
