I couldnt tell what was poison ivy and what wasnt for the most part so i trust that he knew and took care of it! I suppsoe i will onyl really know for sure if i dont itch at all this summer when i do my gardening!

We met to look at the job and all seemed promising. Estimate was made and then, for whatever the reason, time passed by, calls were made, but the company just couldn't seem to figure a time to do the job. As a result, we cancelled.

When I first contacted Jim, he spent over 20 minutes talking to me on the phone, explaining my options and what he would do if I hired him. He was very helpful in answering all of my questions. He came to my house on 6/8/11 and applied the first treatment. He explained that he would come back in about a month to check on the results and apply a second treatment to any plants that were missed the first time. He said I did not need to be home the second time, that he would let me know after he had completed the second treatment. Jim completed the second treatment on 7/11/11 and then sent me an invoice. He gave me a $25 discount because he had driven over some flowers in my garden. Before the treatments, I had a lot of poison ivy in about 1/3 of my yard and couldn't go in that part of my yard. In the months since Jim came and sprayed, I have not had any problems with poison ivy.

The Poison Ivy was 100% under control 6 weeks after the first treatment. We are thrilled with the results and no longer afraid to go back into the yard. The treatment, and continued follow-up were a great success.

Jim came out to survey the property and to give us a quote/estimate. He came prepared — he had an aerial map of our property on his iPad (impressive!). So, he already knew the and quot;lay of the landand quot; upon arrival. He walked around the property and identified each vine on trees, and identified hot-spots of poison ivy ground-cover, indicating each on his aerial map in red. At the end of his survey he presented us with us a written estimate on the spot, and offered to do the first treatment right then. We agreed without hesitation. His quote was much higher than we anticipated, but once we could see exactly how many poison ivy there was and what he would be doing, it seemed fair . . . especially with the guarantee. He sprayed for the first treatment and departed without requiring a deposit. The poison ivy started to wither just like he said it would. And, now the whole big patches are irradicated. He guarantees the property to be 99% free of poison ivy for a year, and offers to come back if we have a need in the meantime. We haven't had to take him up on that yet, but it's nice to know we could. As other reviews have noted, Jim is very knowledgeable and is willing to share. He helped build my own confidence in identifying poison ivy by confirming my suspicions on certain plants. He also helped point out the things that were *not* poison ivy — things *not* to worry about. He was very open, and I found it very educational (which further helped to build my trust level with him). After he was done, I could see that it was a lot of work, and I think his quote was more than fair. Jim is a pleasure to work with; he is professional, timely, efficient, thorough, detailed and affable. We highly recommend him.

He came, had a look. He was already booked with other poison ivy customers, so he had to come back about 2 weeks later. He sprayed. He came back a few weeks later to re-spray and plants he missed the first time.

The overall experience with him was good. He was very informative and very upfront about what the cost would be and what he would do for that cost. He was a bit pricy but as we wanted the work to be done quickly, the price was okay.

Jim takes a phased approach. His first visit is to assess the situation. He walks the property and makes notes while explaining what he sees. the next visit he sprays the PI. Then he returns a second time to spray again for any remaining PI. Last year he also returned a third time to remove some dead PI from the trees. Jim responds to questions outside of his visits.
