I called Steve on Monday for a move on Tuesday the next day. My daughter unexpectedly had to move home. We agreed on a price and planned on meeting at 11:00 am. My plans changed so that I could meet him at 9:30. He said no problem. Steve along with Brian showed up at 9:30. I told him I had a u Haul truck to fill. I showed him what had to be moved and got out of their way. Steve was very careful to wrap any fragile items. Steve and Brian worked in a very efficient and professional manner. I highly recommend Veterans Movers.

Steve and his two guys were absolutely great. They showed up on time, at short notice, helped tremendously, and were incredibly polite. I would call them again in a heartbeat.
Description of Work: We had help moving several large pieces of furniture in advance of a major move. After that, at no additional charge, they offered to help us pack a number of boxes of books and move them into our storage container.

We had scheduled this move on a Tuesday at 5:30 - he texted a few hours before to offer to re-schedule because of light rain, to save the exercise bike electrical parts from water damage in an open pickup. So we did it the next day. He pulled up at my house on time. I rode with him in this big pickup, we put the exercise bike in the pickup, he used his system of straps & attach points to secure it. Traffic would have been heavy on the return using the his GPS route, so he took the alternate route which I suggested. We made one quick stop for an errand of mine on the way back. At the destination I went inside to make a clear path to bring in the bike & when I opened the door he'd gotten it out & up to the door by himself. He brought a strap to tie open the screen door & we walked it in. One other thing - talking on the way, I asked about the shiny truck: he spends $5 annually on a can of "undercoat" which he "sprays on anything metal" on the underside of the truck as winter approaches, and he washes off salt regularly. After 11 years, it shows no rust.
Description of Work: With his pickup truck, moved an exercise bike, somewhat heavy & bulky, from one Metro West town to another.

I offer my most enthusiastic recommendation for Steve Cho and "Veterans Movers." - I had an urgent need (only two days to get the job done) to pick up a studio piano (approx 500 lbs) in Watertown and movie to Wakeifled. - I called Steve on Sunday afternoon, and he did the job on Monday night (approx 24 hours later). - These two guys (Steve and Angel) were early to the job, had all the doors off the hinges, and the piano out the door before I even got there. - They were professional, effective, efficient, and though I brought a friend with me to help, Steven and Angel did (almost) all the heavy lifting themselves. - They beat me to the delivery site, unloaded the piano (almost) on their own. - They stuck around long enough to get the piano where it needed to be, put everything back where it belongs, and help us back the trailer down the corkscrew-shaped driveway. - They had a pickup truck, but no trailer. So I provided the trailer (UHaul). They provided the furniture dolley, moving blankets, and tie-down straps. - They did all the work tying the piano down to the trailer, and there were no problems. - Payment was pre-negotiated at $130 for two hours, two men (32.50/hour/person) - If you need to move something heavy, give these guys a call. (Steve is also a U.S. Marine & Army vet).
Description of Work: - Moved a studio upright piano (approx 500 lbs) from Watertown, MA to Wakefield, MA.
