Description of Work: Had a bat get into the house in early September, they came out to seal up any openings in the house. While here, they also caged off some areas around our eaves that birds were nesting (so they couldn't nest in the future) and took care of a number of bee hives. They measured our chimney for a cap, put up a bat cone on one corner of our house and said they would be back in 2-3 weeks to put in the cap and take down the cone. I only gave a B for punctuality because I think they forgot to put us on the schedule for the return trip. Called them in November to ask about it, they apologized and were out immediately. They also powdered for hive in our house when they were around the second time. 1 yr warranty on their pest services. Responded quickly each time we contacted them. Would use them again in the future.

Description of Work: They came to inspect and identify the reasons for a fly infestation. They came at 6 am to accommodate my work schedule which I appreciate. They did identify the type of fly but not the solution.

Description of Work: Highs: They took care of a growing rat problem on my property. I was seeing 1-2 adult rats and at least 5 baby rats in my backyard during daytime hours this past summer due to extensive neighborhood building and road construction (and possibly due to the addition of a french drain in my basement two summers previous). Haven't seen a rat since the last one was caught in Ultrasafe's bait box. Saw a mouse in my basement a week after they initially came and inspected the basement for rats and/or mice. But they promptly took care of the problem when I reported it and I have not seen evidence of mice since we caught one. In fairness, when they inspected there was no evidence of mice in basement - the evidence was there a week later and it was only because of Ultra safe that I knew what to look for, where to look and to call Ultrasafe to report it. They even set a trap under my neighbor's porch at no additional charge when I reported that I saw a rat go under there, and that my neighbors were out of the country for the entire month! |Lows: There is one item they advertised in their Mice & Rat Control service that I have not seen yet. That was to vacuum rat droppings and sanitize contaminated areas with specialized equipment. This was not visible on the exterior as the rats were in the backyard. But there were droppings from the one mouse inside the basement. This and their scheduling is the only reason I gave them a B - I've never used pest control before, so I'm not sure if this is the norm, but I had to call to schedule the follow up checks on the bait boxes on the exterior - which contained rodents until the 2nd to last visit. I feel like follow up checks should be scheduled at the time boxes are laid out. Also, I'm not sure how price compares to other services, but for my needs, I used every bit of what I paid for. It's because they honor their warranty - I could call them weekly (which I did) and they still came until evidence indicated the problem was resolved. I would definitely use their services again! My children will be able to use our backyard again this summer! I'm very grateful. |
