Stoneside Blinds & Shades-Boston

The process was very smooth and easy. I had never had professional shades installed, and after years of frustration with funky, faulty shades, I decided to get professional help. Everything was extremely easy to schedule, from Dana who first came out to meet me and show me the options for shades, then to the installer who came out both to measure and then install the shades when they arrived. Because the shades are put into production when you order, it does take over a month for them to arrive and be installed, which didn't really bother me terribly. Everyone who came in was fully protected with masks and the installer wore booties to protect the hard wood floors. I think these are fairly pricey shades, but I was impressed by the professionalism and knowledge of all involved.

From beginning to end Stoneside provided great customer service and advice. When the design consultant came to our home (Abby) she offered great advice for different windows in different areas of the home. Some of the blinds we were purchasing needed different types of functionality. Abby clearly explained the different options we had for our french doors and different windows around the house. The selection and purchase process was very easy and streamlined. Additionally, any questions we had after our purchase and before the install were promptly answered by Stoneside. A few days after we placed our order, Stoneside sent one of their technicians (Andrew) out to do final measurements on our windows and doors. Andrew was extremely professional and offered some great advice on sizing, placement, etc. Andrew also took care of our install which also went very smoothly. He clearly knew exactly what he was doing and consulted us whenever there a question about specific placement of the blinds. Andrew and his associates made it very clear that they want to make us 100% happy with our Stoneside blinds, and they absolutely succeeded in doing so. From start to finish Abby and Andrew provided exceptional customer service, and we love our new blinds. I would 100% recommend Stoneside.

I was very impressed with Stoneside all around. While I used their website to help me decide what I thought I wanted (very useful) for my blinds, Abby came to my home with the appropriate alternative samples and really did an excellent job in helping to steer me in the proper direction. She is also a lovely person to do business with as well. I wish I had taken her advice in going with a more opaque solar shade (lol....she was right). Andy came to do the measurements and followed through with the install and he was fantastic from beginning to end. He's a perfectionist with a very sunny demeanor; delightful really. After he installed a solar blind I realized that the cord was probably on the wrong side and he was more than happy to switch it around. I love the motorized single cell blinds; that have already help cut the draft in my place. I'm glad I asked for the cell shades to be stretched out a bit (instead of being tighter pleats). The look is great. While the motor is slightly prominent, they move pretty quickly. So, so worth it and the extra money (my windows are sort of big and tall). I would recommend these to anyone. I will also recommend the fantastic job and service that I received from Stoneside. They are true professionals. Thanks Abby and Andy.

Very helpful. They gave advice when I asked for it, really listened to what I wanted and steered the recommendations based on that. She helped me find the most economical option given my needs.

Abbie's advice was tremendously helpful. This is my first time getting blinds so I had no idea what the options are. I found some blinds that I think would work nicely but the price of Stoneside's blinds is very high, more than double on-line services, even including the extra cost for installation by an installation, so I have decided to keep looking and do more comparison shopping.

We are very happy. We had used another company before and had lots of issues. Stoneside was fantastic. We met with the designer in our home. She had great questions and help us understand what we really needed. There prices were reasonable given the quality of the product. We put roman shades in the bedrooms and transition shades in our study and dinning room. Everything was install right on schedule. We were very impressed and our house looks great.

We were very happy working with Stoneside. We purchased roman shades in our master bedroom, cellular shades in two other bedrooms, wood blinds in our breakfast room and kitchen and roller shades in the family room. We love the motorized roller shades and cellular shades. Stoneside did exactly what they said and the shades were installed ahead of schedule.

The installation was completed in a professional manner. The installer had to return several times due to some modifications from the original design. I would highly recommend Stoneside. The company never hesitated when changes were suggested to make the changes and deliver the new shades promptly.
