Description of Work: The sp needed a $50 deposit in addition to deal that was purchased. I did not like the hidden fee, they need to be upfront with that.

Description of Work: Moved items in a 30 ft storage trailer to an area in the house. |Sorted the material during relocation according to my direction. |Moved some items to a Public Storage facility on Broadway Everett. |Overall an EXCELLENT job.

Description of Work: Showed up right on time had lots of energy moved all my things and I had a lot of stuff (completely filled the 24 ft truck)and unloaded in a timely manner.They took care of the delicate items and didn't damage any property going out or in. Great job!

Description of Work: I had a scheduled time to meet the Stair Hopper movers at a large storage facility in Newton. They were on time, were courteous and took the time to wrap some furniture items in blankets. There were three workers; two workers went back and forth to the storage init and one worker stayed at the truck, carefully fitting items into the truck to avoid damage and to maximize space in the truck. Moving is a stressful job but Stair Hopper Movers did not ADD to the stress! Would hire again without reservation.

Description of Work: I bought one of the special deals they were offering for my daughter as a gift. She was moving from one part of the city to another. The deal was good for a specific amount of time for the move. They called to let her know that they were running late. The change in time would move put it during the rush hour. They said they would honor the deal, and they wrapped and taped some of her furniture at no additional cost because they were late. Everything arrived in perfect condition. She said the movers were very professional to deal with

Description of Work: I purchased a $330 deal for a 24 ft. moving truck and a 3 person crew for 3 hours. The service went perfectly. I purchased the deal as a gift.

Description of Work: The entire experience was excellent. Diana and Mona in the office were exceptionally responsive to the requests/ changes in dates (due to the endless snow storms on Mondays!) and the moving crew were exceptional. They were careful with our items, they worked continuously and hard - and their ability really amazed us as they moved some furniture that 4 adults struggled with when we took it into our home - two of our crew picked it up and moved it without any apparent difficulty! We would use StairHoppers again if we moved and recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking for movers in Massachusetts. | |The only minor glitch - and I am 100% confident it will be resolved - is that we didn't get the 5% discount allowed for Angie's List members. We need to send something in - and not sure what that is, but will find out. I'll update if we run into any trouble but know that Mona and Diana will take care of this and that we will get the refund as advertised. In fact - since I'm writing this review on Angies List - seems that may be all Mona and Diana need in order to process the refund. Anyway - 100% satisfied!

Description of Work: Excellent service starting from the call to the move. They arrived on time. They were friendly and moved all the items without braking a single thing in a very quick manner. I was amazed of how quickly they moved the items. They also assembled the beds, cribs and bookcases. I can not be more pleased with the service and will recommend them again. We did a local move. They also gave me the best price compared to other providers.

Description of Work: Moved contents of 2 bedroom apartment from Manchester to Nashua, NH. Move went smoothly, with no issues.

Description of Work: They provided a great timely moving service. It went great. The price quoted for the three hours of service was a deal of the week, but with all the time to come to us, to drive to the new place, to drive back to their company the move ended up costing as much as any other movers'by hour package. They do great quality work, but we felt like we were cheated into buying a special with them even though it did not end up being special. Might be more of Angie's list thing, not sure. There was also a glitch processing our coupon that we already paid for (3hours), the movers did not deduct it from the total bill and spent extra time resolving the glitch that ended up on the bill.
