Description of Work: We used one of the Angies List coupons for the service and the coupon was for 3hrs of labor and indicated that it included travel time to our move. However, at the end of the move we were also dinged again for travel time back from our move, which was not previously disclosed. Obviously this increased the cost of the move significantly, making said deal not much of a deal.

Description of Work: They aerived an hour late and wanted to charge for that hour. They almost didn't include the Angie's list coupon and wanted to charge more.They charged me for supplies that we're not used and we're disinterested in putting the furniture together.

Description of Work: The crew arrived on time and was friendly and polite. The work was preformed timely. My only negative was it was not made clear to me when discussing my home's contents that the appliances would require an additional fee of $20 each. I would definitely refer others to this company.

Description of Work: Very punctual. Very professional. Got things done in fairly good time. Did a very good job at packing up my dishes and kitchen items. Also very friendly. Would highly recommend them to anyone moving. My only complaint is that they charge for the time it takes them to get back to the warehouse. Most places don't do that. Other than that, it was a great experience.

Description of Work: They moved furniture from a house I own in Westwood to another house in Yarmouth. They were very careful movers and not a bit of damage resulted. They kept up a good pace all day and completed the entire job in one day, including moving four rooms of furniture into the house inYarmouth.

Description of Work: Their tactic is to threaten a lawsuit by saying that one of Their workers got hurt on the job. So be aware if you are following up with them for damages resulting from their moving furniture.

Description of Work: They came early, moved my family & I out of our 2 bedroom apt to another. It was quick, they packed everything & were extremely professional. I'd use them again in a heartbeat.

Description of Work: They showed up on time and worked hard. The only hiccup was that I was expecting a 16 foot truck, which would fit in the driveway, and they showed up in a 26 foot truck, so they had to park illegally across a fire hydrant and some driveways a little down the street. Its a small thing, but that lack of communication slowed down the packing up of the truck, and could have caused bigger issues had there not been any street space available.

Description of Work: Overall the move went well. They aren't the fastest movers I've used, but not the slowest either. Initially for moves, I pick the cheapest movers. But given I had recently purchased an expensive sofa, and a really nice glass coffee table I figured go with Stairhoppers, after seeing all the positive reviewers. The guys, carried a really heavy full size sofa bed, down 7 flights of stairs because it couldn't fit on the elevator and up another 3 flights to my new move in space. Overall, they did a good job! I would recommend their services to a friend.

Description of Work: Wasn't able to use coupon because date of move changed. The movers were professional |Ended up costing more than anticipated as there were some hidden costs for supplies and the move seemed to be more difficult than they thought

Description of Work: They moved a large piece of furniture from a storage facility to our home. While they were at our storage facility we asked them if they could remove a few items we no longer needed. They contacted their office, charged us a small extra fee, and took the items away . They handled everything with great care, and were great to work with.
