Description of Work: Direct move from Massachusetts to Virginia. Stairhoppers loaded one truck, drove that truck directly to Virginia. Unloaded it the next day. Then they drove back to Boston. |The move was too small for some movers and others would do it, but only with a week to three week delay in delivery (due to waiting for a truck to consolidate it on). |I was more interested in the timing of the move and delivery than in the price. Was able to schedule the move within one week of my call. |The movers were very patient and also responsive to my unusual requests. |They unpacked and removed the packing materials and even unpacked the books and put them on the shelves. |Very pleased with the movers and the responsiveness of Customer Service.

Thank you for taking the time to post your feedback. We've been doing moves for more than 15 years and we know that accidents can happen, that's why we carry insurance. We did brake the wall sconce, we did apologize for that and you also got compensated for the damaged item, because as mentioned if an accident happens, we are covered and we also have our customers covered. As for any other damages, we are totally unaware and we are wondering how come when the light fixture situation has been discussed and solved, there was no specifications of any other damages to your bedroom set or other pieces of furniture. We are very confident that everything that was in our care, custody and control has been handled carefully and in a very professional manner as each piece of furniture that went into our truck was properly wrapped in thick moving blankets so no damages can occur. Description of Work: Guys were polite and on time. They packed my things in a PackRat. They did not follow my suggestions for packing and apparently had never done a crate before. Packed very inefficiently resulting in wasted space. Objects were not secured and a glass desk top was broken. Several calls and emails to get owner to agree to paying for broken glass. |They brought their own truck which was part of the price. Transported some furniture to a friend at end of packing for additional charge.

Description of Work: They moved all of my many books, most of my furniture and the odd knicknack from Dorchester to Lynn, moved my king sized mattress and box springs upstairs and brought in all of my stuff. They were polite, efficient, and even realistic about what would fit up my narrow stairs. They were great!
