Stairhoppers made my family's move quick and painless. From the first day that I called them for an estimate to their follow-up call after we settled in, they were great at communicating. On the day of the move, they planned and organized everything down to the finest details. They showed up on time and got right to work, and after the last box was brought into our new house they made sure we were satisfied before they left. Best of all, they came under budget! I recommend them to everyone!

When I hired Stairhopper Movers, I thought I was just getting a couple of guys to move some boxes and furniture. What I got was a crew of professional workers who worked their butts off. They arrived just after lunch as planned and had everything moved within a couple of hours without ever taking a break. The next time I have to move I definitely plan to use Stairhopper again.

Stairhopper Movers did a great job coordinating when my husband and I downsized from a large home into a 2 bedroom apartment. They were polite and friendly, and most importantly they were hardworking professionals. All of our belongings arrived safe and sound. When we hired Stairhoppers, it was primarily because I'm pregnant and couldn't help my husband lift furniture. However, they went above and beyond, making everything about the move so easy!. Lots of stairs, unexpected drizzling rain, and waiting for me to pack up the last of the kitchen stuff - nothing rattle them. They were complete professionals and in a good mood teh whole day. If you're planning to move, then you won't go wrong with Stairhoppers.

The movers were there at my storage facility, but there was a minor snag for the moving permits when we arrived at my home. We think that the signs were removed as 2 cars were in the way. The police did not respond in time, but we were able to move to move the boxes despite the cars in the way.

I agreed to help my brother make the move across town from a fourth story apartment into a second floor apartment. A buddy of ours suggested Stairhopper Movers. From start to finish, Stairhopper Movers made the move as easy and stress free as it could be. Mona was great to work with. She was easy to speak with and had a handle on what we needed before the end of our first conversation. The quote she gave us was much lower than he anticipated, and my brother was concern about sacrificing quality with what we thought was a steal. The 3 man crew showed up a few minutes early and got to job right away. We were both so surprised how quickly they got the boxes out of the house. Their furniture removal was so systematic. While it was clear they had it down to a science, they clearly took great care in handling all his belongings. They finished ahead of schedule and got everything to his new home in a snap. There was not a single item broken, no scuffs on the walls, or dents on the furniture. Stairhopper Movers made all the difference, and we can't thank them enough. I came up for long weekend expecting to take a few days to move, but instead I've got to spend some quality time with my little brother.

These movers were wondeful! We had 2 moves going on in one day. My sister was moving from an apartment to a house, and I was moving into her apartment. Despite the confusion Stairhoppers stayed on the schedule and got all the right furniture where it needed to be and even finished early! Even with kids and dogs running though both places they stayed calm and even had a sense of humor! I will definitely use them again.

When I got transferred, my family had to make a quick move and Stairhoppers were lifesavers. The customer service from beginning to end was very professional and friendly. Stairhopper Movers was a pleasure to work with from the initial estimate right through moving day. The crew of 3 arrived exactly when they were scheduled to arrive. They were friendly and professional and we were amazed at how quickly they cleared the apartment, and the care that they took wrapping and protecting our furniture. They had no trouble navigating the narrow entry ways and stairs with large furniture and fragile items. Everything was delivered to our new condo in exactly the same condition it was before the move, to the rooms that it was labeled for, with absolutely no damage or loss. We couldn't have been more pleased with their service, would certainly use them again, and would recommend them to friends and family.

We closed on our house in the end of June and did not move in until the end of July because of work we had done. During that time I moved a lot of the boxes to the house myself. Since the move was short distance and fewer items I did not think there was much the movers could impress me with. Three guys and a truck showed up at our apartment and asked a few questions about the items to be moved. They were quick professional and quite. Once we got to the house for drop off I pointed out that the floors had been finished a week before and I had felt pads to put on the furniture. They took a bag of felt pads and at the back of the truck put padding on each item before it left the truck. Every item was carefully placed and no sliding items into place across the floor. The total move from our two bedroom apartment to the house only took 6 hours (including drive time). When they were done there was not a single scratch in the hardwood floors. They were quick, efficient and did that little extra detail that made me happy.

Stairhoppers made my family's home to a new home so easy! They asked all the right questions beforehand, which took a lot of stress out of the big day. Then on moving day, the crew that arrived was awesome. They had everything necessary to do the job and when it started raining, they above and beyond to keep our belongings from getting ruined. Excellent services. We hired Stairhopper Movers for a local move within Boston and they did an excellent job. The movers were very polite and professional. The most challenging part of our move was an antique dinning room set which we have from my parents but Stairhoppers made it ALL safe. We will definitely hire them if we were to move again.

Stairhoppers made a stressful move as close to fun as a move has any hope of being. We drew a dynamite team of movers – a group of strong, enthusiastic, professional, smart young men – like a band of brothers who stuck with us at both ends of the move. They were good-natured, hardworking, with dauntless energy through 90-degree days of loading and unloading. ALL furniture was safely wrapped in blankets – including an upright piano and a grandfather clock – with fearless wrangling of impossibly heavy and large pieces around tight corners, and cheerful tolerance of “a little bit left, a little bit right”. Mona, the chief scheduler, hardly blinked when I had to reschedule the move to a few weeks later. If you are moving from anywhere in the Boston area – my move was from Westford MA to Florida – do not even CONSIDER anyone except Stairhoppers. (And ask for the Romanian team – you may get lucky – tell them Suzanne said so!) The price is better than the big movers and those containers-without-labor companies, the customer service is just what you want, and the moving guys will put a smile in your hopelessly stressed-out day.

My sister and I hired them to move about 20 pieces of furniture and some other small items from our parents house from Lincoln to Key West. Everything was picked up in time and arrived 1 day earlier than scheduled. Everything was properly wrapped and arrived in a good condition. The driver called while he was on the way to see if we are available to receive our stuff 1 day before. Easy to set up the move, easy to deal with, fair price, I would definitely recommend them for any move.

Absolutely excellent. The movers were responsible, polite, and extremely hard working. The move couldn't have gone better despite terrible weather that day and that's due to their very hard work and extreme organization.

Even though the prospect of living in a new (hopefully bigger/nicer) place is great, the moving process itself is not so great. Packing up all your crap, leaving your current abode, trekking it all to a new place and unpacking (all the while hoping that nothing important got broken, cracked or scratched, etc.) is a long, tedious, stressful and expensive ordeal. Finding a company like Stairhopper Movers takes away a lot of stress and for a very, very reasonable price. Not a single item damaged, not a single nick or scrape to any of the walls or floors and these guys get it done very quickly. I hope we don't move again for quite a while but when we do, I will be calling Stairhopper Movers again.

I just used Stairhoppers to move from Newton Ma to Atlanta GA. I had done couple moves over the past 5 years and was always so disappointed and unhappy with my movers! I picked Stairhoppers based on their excellent online reviews and I should confess that I'm so happy about my decision. Why? because I did not have to deal with any surprises. They were super professional!! Adrian (owner) surveyed my house and gave me a flat rate for my move. They did not charge me a penny more than that. I had checked with many other companies and their rate was really fair. The pick up and delivery happened exactly as they had promises and I loved their punctuality. They moved my stuff with such care that nothing was scratched or damaged. Overall, I give them the best recommendation and highest rating. As a matter of fact I will definitely use them for my future moves...They are excellent!

With regards to this move, my wife and I needed our furniture and belongings moved from the two bedroom, two story townhouse we were renting to our newly purchased home. Having both been in our 40s when we married a year earlier, we had more than our share of ?stuff?; and since one our shared passions is reading, we have a ton of books?literally? A self move was briefly considered, but we quickly settled on having Stairhopper do the heavy lifting. When I called to make the reservation, they were very friendly and professional, and when I mentioned that I had used them before, they even gave me a small discount. On moving day, they called about ten minutes before they were supposed to arrive to let me know they were on their way. Once they arrived, we did a quick walk through of the apartment with them and let them know some of the specific issues. We had already packed all the boxes and disassembled the beds so as to save time (with a move, time is money), but as I mentioned before, we have a good deal of stuff. They wrapped the furniture in pads and made sure all the parts where properly packaged up for the trip and an hour and half later, they had the apartment cleared out. From there, I escorted them down the street to a storage locker to retrieve its contents. Of course my locker was as far from the loading area as you can get, but they managed to get everything in one trip and we were on our way in no time. Once at our destination, I walked them through the house so they could see where everything was going. The new home has just one rather tight staircase to the second floor and an even tighter one to the third floor, so it was a little bit of a challenge. But the guys jumped in; once the furniture was in the right rooms, the boxes started flowing in and those guys really moved. They would sometimes take two heavy boxes up at a time and not even look like they were working that hard. As they finished up with the boxes, they started putting beds back together and cleaning up all their materials; and before I knew it, they were done. From the entire move, they only got two boxes in the wrong room (out of almost a hundred of them) and managed to get all the furniture up the stairs with no damage to the furniture or the house. So it was as close to a perfect job as anyone would have a right to expect. This was the second time I have used them, and when I have any other needs, I won?t hesitate to call them again.
