When my aunt passed away last year, I didn't think I could handle moving her belongings out and putting her house up for sale. Stairhopper Movers were incredibly sympathetic and helped me pack and move her items, as well as put them in storage. They are a family oriented and very compassionate moving company and I would recommend them to anyone.

We had a lot of stuff to move, living in a 5 bedroom house. There were toys, books, everything for my husband's home office and various mementos. I actually thought the job would be too big for any one moving company and had resign myself to having to pay a huge bill and make tons of trips. StairHopper Movers got everything moved for us in one trip and we were settled in our new home the same day. They even had to hoist a very large couch due to some constructions that were done this year in our house and modified the access. THANK YOU!!!!!

Stairhoppers was great! Mona, in the office, was able to answer all of my questions and replied promptly to my emails. Three movers arrived right on time (7am) and were polite and efficient. They quickly loaded the truck (about 1 hr 30 minutes) and then moved our stuff from our apt (with elevator) to our 4th floor walk up condo. They put the bed back together, and the futon as well. They were completely done by 10:15am. Again very polite and helpful and efficient. Would definitely use them again.

I've had problems with movers in the past. Many times , they didn't handle themselves professionally, showed up late or not at all and used cuss words and foul language the entire time there were moving my things. The movers I got with Stairhoppers were very polite, arrived on time and were professional and respecful the entire time they were moving my belongings. Stairhoppers is a family friendly company.

When i realized my job was too big for me, i called several moving companies hoping one could help me move same day. The only that would was Stairhopper Movers . They showed up within a few hours of my call and got everything moved quickly and a lot easier then I could imagine. They were a great company and I'am very glad i called them.

They were prompt, and took good care of our furniture. Estimate and final bill were as expected, no surprises. They had more difficulty than I expected disassembling and reassembling the refrigerator, however the foreman reduced the bill to account for the crew's inexperience with this part of the task.

They were excellent in every way. These three gentlemen didn't give me a single moment of stress the entire day; in fact, I think they pulled me back from the ledge a couple of times. They arrived spot on time, introduced themselves and explained their process, and then we all got to work. (I of course wasn't really done packing until the truck rolled.) They were very kind to my young daughter who was naturally wigging out about the move, and let her "help" in various ways. I had packed my own boxes, but they did a very thorough job of wrapping up furniture, mirrors, art, and bikes. NOTHING was damaged. They were very conscientious about putting things in the correct rooms when we arrived, asked me what direction I wanted rugs put down in, asked before spending time/$ reassembling beds and other things I could have done myself--but of course I let them and they did a perfect job. (The office staff was responsive and helpful, too.) If you want one less thing to worry about on moving day, use Stairhopper Movers.

Moving with Stairhoppers was an easy an pleasant experience. They showed up on time, the crew was very polite, efficient, hardworking and extremely meticulous. They asembled and disasembled my duaghter's bedroom, which is quiet complicated, very carefully. The price was very fair and they always asked us before charging us extra costs: for example to wrap and protect our,mattresses. There was no surprise at the end of the job. I would truly recommand them or hire them again!

I actually felt a little silly hiring movers. I don't have a lot of stuff, but I am also disabled and did not have anyone help me move. When I called Stairhoppers, I was sure they were going to turn me down in favor of waiting for a larger job. Instead they treated my move as though it was their top priority and made sure I was a satisfied customer.

From the beginning to the end, the Stairhopper team did an overall exceptional job. The owner Andrian came and gave us a quotation. it was less than the other quotes. Mona the operational manager was friendly, courteous, and responsive to each question. The moving team did a terrific job start to finish. They came on time, packed and delivered when agreed upon (as we had to have the furnishings put in storage for almost 3 weeks). Unpacking, we had one minor issue that they are resolving. Overall, they were fantastic and if i ever moved again (which we hope never to do), i would use them in a heartbeat.

I was very happy with them. They were punctual and came on time. They were communicative and they would ask if they didn't understand something. They put everything in the places where I wanted. They did not take a lunch break and they worked for more than 3 hours. It was a very hot day and they didn't complain about anything. We did provide them with lunch and the person that was in charge closed down before he sat down to eat. Overall they were professional and quick. They kept their focus on their work. They didn't quibble when I asked them to place something somewhere else. They charge $130 per hour. Their rates were comparable to other companies I've used.

There were no major issues with the move. They arrived on-time, the movers were professional, and everything made it to the destination. My issues were with a lack of attention to detail. Many of the items they helped "pack" were piled into a rolling bin with little/no protection. At the destination, boxes were put in random rooms despite being clear labeling. Stairhopper would have been perfect when I was in my 20's and going between apartments but this time I was looking for professionals--not the equivalent of having friends help for beer and pizza. I'd suggest looking for alternatives if you can afford to pay a bit more for better service.

In addition to the belongings in my brother's home, he also had a decade worth of storage in a backyard shed to move as well. Despite several sets of narrow stairs, tight corners, and oversized, heavy items, the movers got everything out of our house and into the truck in record time without breaking, scuffing, nicking, or scratching anything in the process.

Excellent Service and Superior Professionalism from this moving company from start to finish. Setting up an appointment with Mona was extremely easy, and she even adjusted the move date a few days before the move because my in-laws weren't available to watch my 14 month old on the original move date. The estimated price was based on a $99/hour cost for three guys and a 24 ft truck. Having been moved twice previously by the Army in the past 4 years I knew we weren't going to fit all of our stuff in one truck... No problem Mona offered another truck or the option to make a run from the apartment to the house, and then go back and get the storage unit items. We chose the latter and it worked out great. Initially I was concerned that the second portion of the move from the storage unit to the house would be really long (because that's where about 65% of our stuff was located). Mike and his moving crew worked tirelessly and quickly, and honestly really never seemed to slow down. Yes it took 10 hours to move our stuff... But that was what we were expecting. Even at that length the price was well below their competitors. We got estimates for $1,865 and $2,230 from two other companies so what we paid was well worth the price. On top of the wonderful price I have to take a moment to say how extremely professional I found Mike and his crew. I'd hire them and Stairhopper Movers again in a heartbeat. Notes: They charge one hours drive to and from the move. By what we can tell this is pretty much a standard across the industry. Also, Stairhopper will charge a $50 deposit at the time of booking. This is deducted from the final cost of your move but its something you should be aware of.

They were fantastic. We encountered some difficulties that weren't they're fault and they were so accommodating to the issues. They were extremely nice. The owner was very nice and easy to deal with.

They moved us out of a house and into a nearby apartment. Because we are doing renovations and were storing items in a local pod (as well as moving to the apartment), it was a complex day. But the team did a great job and we were very impressed.

Our landlord called Stairhoppers for my roomate and I after an overflowing toilet in the apartment upstairs flooded our main living area. All our stuff had to go into storage and we had to stay elsewhere while repairs were being done. Stairhoppers got right to work getting our stuff out before real water damage set in, and when it was time to move back their work was just as amazing. We feel wicked lucky that our landlord called Stairhoppers and we recommended them to everyone.

I had never moved between cities before, but Stairhoppers made it pain free experience. Even though I was completely clueless, they took the extra time to answer any questions I had at any point in the process. Despite traffic, navigating through two different cities, and stopping at two different storage units, nothing ruffled their feathers. I most definitely recommend Stairhoppers. I will certainly use them again the next time I move!

We were very pleased with the way our move was handled. Stairhopper Movers were very professional and treated our items as if they were their own! Despite the fact that we were doing a long distance move, not one single item was lost or broken during transit. Hopefully, we'll never have to move again, but if we do, we will definitely call Stairhopper movers to handle our move.

On a scale of 1 to 10, Stairhoppers gets an 11 from my family. The team that showed up was punctual and precise. When lunch time came they were in the middle of something, they kept working and they didn't stop until the entire move was done. Even though a lot of furniture was heavy and our boxes contain several valuable glassware not to mention other fragile items, they didn't break or scratch anything. I highly recommend Stairhoppers to anyone who is in need of a moving company.

This company is the best! Due to a scheduling mix up at work I had to fly to another state the evening of the move. When I called to say that I had to be done by a certain time I was told not to worry and that it would be done. Stairhoppers showed up 20 minutes earlier than planned and went right to work. They had my 3 bedroom second floor apartment packed and ready to go in no time at all leaving me plenty of time to make my flight. I highly recommend them!

Adrian Iorga, the president, came to do the estimate which was about $1,100. We agreed to the move and the team of Jaime, Steven, and Rene showed up exactly, on the dot, at 8:00am on the move day. These guys rocked!! The move was anticipated to be the entire day; they were done by 1:30pm. They moved furniture from the old house into the new house and the storage facility, then moved old furniture from the new house to the storage facility or the curb. They were great, professional, and extremely friendly. Also they knew how to overcome obstacles like narrow stairs, sharp corners, etc. As a result they beat their original estimate by about $300. They worked extremely fast but not careless, always asking for our preference on how we wanted something handled. A very smooth move. I HIGHLY recommend Adrian and his crews at Stairhopper Movers.
