Three move crews, Sebastian, Andrew and Cossi, arrived at the first venue on time. They took care wrapping the furniture and moving the furniture. They worked methodically and efficiently and adhere to all of the instructions that I had provided Stairhopper Movers in writing. The bottom line is that all went well. There has not been a scratch on walls, floors and any of the furniture.

The three guys that came to do my move were very prompt, very professional, careful with my belongings, efficient and did a great job. I would hire them again and highly recommend their services.

They were very professional and courteous. They arrived on time, worked hard, took good care of the items moved. They had to move things during one of the snowiest winters on record, and, while I tried hard to make sure that a path was cleared, they still had to contend with some snow on the ground. The steps to the bulkhead are steep, but they handled them without a problem. I have power tools and a large workbench with a pegboard backing, which they were able to disassemble and reassemble without much trouble. They did a great job packing the POD, and nothing was damaged when it returned from the POD storage yard. The woman in the front office was very courteous and helpful, as well. I liked them so much that I will use them again and have recommended them to friends. Their price was less than the other quotes I received, too.

Move went really well. They are very professional and harworking. They are also very quick and get the job done in fastest possible way! Great job!

Cost for the travel time was 50% higher than quoted

This was a huge job -- much larger than anyone realized. They were incredibly fast and efficient. When the job was only at about 50% by 6pm, even though there was no one left at the company to come for back up, the owners got a crew who had already worked another job since 8am to come and help. They second crew unloaded the two pack rats while the other crew went back and finished moving the main house to the new house. Both crews worked until 3am. It was unbelievable. It was not a question of efficiency -- it was a huge job. They went so above and beyond, in one of the busiest moving months of the year. 19 hours total for me -- 9 hours (after a full day) for four guys, and a 21 hour day for the other four guys. You've never seen harder working guys. Almost everything, about 95%, was in the correct room. Considering the rush and the hour, things were wrapped and carried with great care. The price is very very fair for the amount of work done. This is my second move with Stairhoppers for a reason. They were excellent the first time I hired them for a small move back into my house after a large renovation. After this experience, I would only use them -- and recommend them -- to anyone.

They arrived within the time frame, calling to let us know when they thought they would arrive. Everything was wrapped and moved swiftly and carefully. They were polite and cheerful. Best move ever.

Such a positive experience with Stairhoppers: highly recommended. The four-men crew helped me get to my new house in Acton from out of state. They arrived as promised and on time, and ready to get going. They hustled for the entire time spent loading up the truck, and then the next day hit the road bright and early to get to the new home. Updates along the way let me know when to expect them and how best to be ready to upload quickly. They always had 'can do ' attitude as well as very friendly and upbeat, energetic and motivated. Absolutely great service at a very reasonable price. Thank you guys again.

The move mostly went well. They covered every furniture item securely with blankets and drove to the new home cautiously. My complaints are mostly minor. For starters, they had lost their toolbox and needed to borrow my tools, which I had to find amongst my boxes. In addition, one bookshelf that I had marked for being taken into the basement was taken to the second floor, and the bookshelf for the second floor was taken to the basement, so I had to move them later myself. They also got a little bright green Gatorade on my off-white couch, and the exhaust hose for my washing machine was damaged, which caused a minor flood when I first used it again. A couple of pieces of furniture appeared to have some new scratches, as well. Lastly, they left all their beverage containers on the doorsteps of both my old and new places so I had to dispose of/recycle them (which wasn't a big deal, but was kind of a hassle with everything else I had to do while moving). They also left behind a couple of blankets and a bunch of packing tape. When I contacted them about retrieving those items, it turned out they wouldn't be in my area anytime soon to pick them up, so I had to dispose of them myself. Though I said I'd use this provider in the future in the box above, I'm actually not sure if I would use them again or recommend them. It was very hot day, so maybe that had an effect on their work.

They wrapped everything in pads and nothing was damaged, put things where I asked and worked hard and fast.

The providers (there were three) came and moved many boxes in a most efficient manner. I was very pleased with their work. There was a dumpster in the driveway and that didn't hinder them at all. I would definitely hire them again.

Good. Didn't break anything. Fast and professional service. Only complaint: there were some miscellaneous materials charges for things that I wasn't warned about -- around $35. It was for stuff they used to wrap furniture and appliances. Other than that it was totally awesome. My advice is just to ask about that stuff first.

The mover guys were professional and very careful. The office people were professional and pleasant. Two problems :1) crew arrived more than 1/2 hour later than agreed-upon window, which was hairy because the storage unit closed at 7 pm, at which point I would have had a truckload of stuff with noplace to put it. 2) Coupon price was $300, very reasonable, but cost for packing materials was $100. The company continuously and clearly reminds you of this, but still it was 33% over the total (they never say how expensive the materials will be). Nevertheless, the mover crew was very quick and careful with my stuff. I would recommend Stairhoppers with 2 caveats: 1) Allow plenty of extra time in case they are late; 2) add at least $100 for packing materials to their quote.

I purchased a coupon for three hours of service with three movers on Angie's list. The entire move ended up taking about 6.5 hours, but it was time and money well spent. From the time of purchase, Stairhoppers staff were helpful, professional, and quick to respond. We set up a moving date two weeks out and I was given a two hour window for time of the move. The three movers arrived ten minutes before scheduled and immediately got to work. They were professional and smart about how they worked and took all necessary precautions to wrap and move my furniture safely. The new condo has a lot of tight corners and narrow doors and despite a few concerns about being able to move in the larger pieces, the movers were successful in getting everything in, making it by just millimeters. Both my father and I were extremely impressed with the care and thought that was put into every detail throughout the day. I will absolutely call Stairhoppers for my next move!

They did a very professional job. They took care to wrap all the furniture in heavy pads and everything was moved without a problem. They did the job in the required time frame and at the estimated cost.

I had a great experience with them. They came in and went right to work. They were extremely polite. They were punctual. Their quote was very accurate which is impressive because they actually ended up moving extra things. I am extremely pleased with their work and have actually recommend them to a few other people.

Ok - but charged from time truck leaves depot, a bit crazy since we cant control or verify that. Ended up having to spend 367 on top of voucher for 3 hours and there wasn't that much to move.

Everything was excellent! The coordinator on the phone was so friendly and informative. The 3 guys showed up a few minutes early, which was great considering the stories I've heard about moving. They were also very nice, took good care of my things, and we're so fast! I'm glad we hired movers, it was totally worth it!

Friendly, courteous, efficient. The guys came when promised and got us out and in in a jiffy. I hope not to move again for some time, but when we do, we're using Stairhopper.

3 movers with a very large truck (probably more than we needed) arrived on time (even a little early), they were friendly and efficient. Took great care wrapping all of our furniture (for a short move of only a mile!), even our furniture that didn't need such care! They negotiated tight parking situations at both ends of the move with skill and good humor. Highly recommend this company, they also fit us into their schedule at last minute.

I purchased a coupon for this mover because they were highly rated and it seemed like a good deal. However, when I tried to schedule my move I felt like I was dealing with the cable company. I had very specific times when I could reserve the freight elevator at my destination building. This mover was very inflexible with scheduling start times for my move. The only choices they gave were either they arrive "sometime in the morning between 8:00 to 8:30" (in which case I would owe them for extra time between when they finish packing the truck and when they can begin unloading) or "sometime in the afternoon sometime between 2:00 and 4:00" (in which case they might not have time to both load the truck and finish unloading before my elevator time ended). All they would have had to do is agree to start in the a.m. at 10:00 or begin in the afternoon by 3:00, but they wouldn't even be that flexible. Waste of my time. Angie's List was good about refunding my purchase price, but beware that it can take several days before the money is back in your account if that is a consideration for you.
