Excellent!!! Staff very professional, polite, helpful and on time

It went very well. The guys worked hard and things were generally smooth. PRICE: I had approximately 10 movers in to provide in-home estimates for my move. Most of them are A rated here on Angies. Stair hoppers was the lowest quote by a fair amount. The move wound up coming in about $400 more than the quote, but the price was still the lowest of those quoted. I had assumed the quoted number wouldn't be the final number, so it wasn't upsetting, though I do wish they'd make estimates higher (more realistic) for interstate moves like mine. QUALITY: They moved everything carefully. Very little damage to report. They happily disassembled and reassembled furniture and took doors off hinges as needed. RESPONSIVENESS: Their office replies to emails and phone calls promptly. PUNCTUALITY: They were due to show up at 7:00 and were there at 6:45 to start the day. They also didn't take a lunch break (though I offered to buy them lunch) and instead they ate while driving to the off-load location - very efficient. PROFESSIONALISM: There was one person who was clearly the on-site manager who was quite professional. The 3 men all worked well together, and worked very hard while being very polite. The one minor issue with professionalism I had was that they didn't inform me prior to arrival that they would be using a Budget truck instead of a Stairhopper branded truck. I've read on various "how to hire a mover" websites that this can often be the first sign of something unsavory happening - that did not occur here. Nevertheless, I feel their office should tell you when they're planning to use a non-branded truck (they definitely do have branded trucks in their fleet).

These guys are great. Moved a large number of boxes and furniture from Cambridge to Winthrop to a storage unit. Arrived on time, were very professional, and kept going late into the night until the job was done. Was not an easy move as the Winthrop location was on the 3rd and 4th floor of an old building with a narrow staircase. Not one complaint from the guys, really good attitude about the whole thing...and it was the crew's 2nd move of the day. Price was very reasonable and the Angie's List coupon really helped . This is our 2nd time using them and both times went great, highly recommended

There were 3 workers. They were incredible. They were polite and efficient. They were really on their game. They were good people. They took a bad situation and made it easy. They didn't lag around. It was overseen by a court appointed attorney. I was very impressed.

We used stairhopper for a move from Boston to Scituate, after finding them highly reviewed on Angie's list. I can't say enough positive things about these guys. It was the least stressful part of our move. We have used other moving companies in the past and there is simply no comparison. A few highlights to demonstrate why we were so impressed: we received a quote extremely quickly and their business team is very professional and responsive; they arrived not only on time but actually 15 mins early which was awesome; they were extremely polite and professional; they seriously hustled on a hot and humid day; they were able to move a huge sectional down our extremely narrow hallway without any damage to the couch or wall which was not our experience with a different moving company who moved the couch in initially; they arrived at the move in location at the same time as us meaning they took no breaks at all; at the end they asked us if there was anything else hey could help us with before they left. I was floored by the professionalism. The cost came in slightly below their estimated quote, and they were done (including travel time) in about 5.5 hours (including their time back to their location). I would recommend them to anyone and would absolutely use them again if I had to move again.

All the movers were amazing. They had to disassemble and move furniture out of a third floor apartment in Boston, stop at a second location to swap bedroom sets and reassemble, then go to a third location to drop off.... All in 5 hours (it would have taken us weeks to do what they did). They were very hard working and efficient and we were very impressed. When they were done they took the time to go through the bill item by item so we fully understood the charges. Overall a great price for everything they did. We highly recommend them and would definitely use them again! We also had a $100 coupon for $50 through Angie's List so that made it an even greater value!

These guys really came through like champs! Very accommodating and reliable. We moved from Millis to Middleton and these guys were big improvement on multiple trips back and forth. Hiring pros you get just more piece of mind and time to worry about other things more important during the move. i was surprised how easy it was. The Stairhoppers team handled a lot of fragile band and recording equipment very carefully and they took real care for most important items in my life. I enthusiastically recommend them to anyone who needs quality movers.

It went okay. The movers were thorough and careful with our stuff, but just like any other time I've moved, the head guys really seemed to bust his butt while the other were a little slow. Honestly, as thorough and careful as they were, I saw no hustle, which annoyed me. There were also a lot of added costs in the end (tape, plastic wrap) that I wouldn't have opted for had I known they cost money. This caused it to be much more expensive than I planned on. Unfortunately, I would not use them again or recommend them.

Very professional, friendly and helpful movers. Took very good care of my furniture, and were competitively priced compared to the other 3 moving companies I called ( both in hourly rate and hoist fees). When booking, the receptionist clearly laid out the charges so there were no surprises when the bill came.

The staff are quick and extra careful handling all and especially boxes marked fragile. They organized all boxes on our shelving in the new location. They are truly fast and efficient.

It went AMAZINGLY well! Sebastian and his team were out of this world -- incredibly strong, good natured, and careful. They arrived at the very beginning of the designated arrival window, worked for about 5 hours and treated all of our belongings with great care. They were professional, courteous, kind, and patient. I have absolutely no complaints about this experience and would recommend them 1000 times over. Working with Diana on scheduling, logistics, payment, etc. was also incredibly easy and enjoyable. The whole team is top notch.

Our moves went surprisingly incredibly smoothly. They made everything so easy. The reps that I talked to before and in between were very informative and responsive. The movers the day of clearly were knowledgeable and were very efficient. I had been worried that for a time based service that they weren't going to feel the urgency - but they did not take advantage of that - and were very considerate. I would recommend them over and over again.

Similar to some of other reviews, i discover Stairhoppers after another company botched my move and I had to cancel, i just run out of time and patience. I called Stairhoppers and they were able to get me on short notice and made my move happen mostly per the original schedule. They also showed up ready to get down to business, almost as soon as they arrived their guys were flying around packing boxes , wrapping furniture, hauling boxes, and loading the trucks. A short drive across winchester to Westwood and then unloading and it was done in record time. Polite and professional team and very affordable for such a big move. RECOMMENDED.

The guys showed up on time and were thorough, efficient and friendly. They moved, and wrapped our furniture as needed and were super flexible. They did a terrific job moving everything. I couldn't believe how smoothly everything went. I will be using them again when we move stuff out of storage. Great experience!

The move went great. What an impressive, professional, courteous and expedient team! They wrapped every item with blankets and took care of some rather tricky and fragile pieces. I will definitely be recommending Stairhopper to my coworkers.

The movers were fantastic. They were on time and worked very efficiently and quickly. At the same time they were extremely careful with fragile boxes and furniture. Overall, amazing job.

Three movers showed up on time with a 24ft truck. Once we did a walkthrough of the items that would need to be moved, we were advised that they may not be able to fit all of our belongings into the truck. The movers were efficient, hardworking and careful with our belongings. It took them 71/2 hours to load the majority of our things onto the truck. When they arrived at our new house after a 4 hour drive, they immediately went to work and started to unload our things. They were very considerate about which rooms our belongings should go into. It took them another 6 hours to unload and then back on the road to Boston. The estimate was slightly under what we ended up paying. We used a coupon from Angie's List. We cannot say enough about the excellent work and attitudes that the movers exhibited. They really made the move effortless for us.

This company is as good as it gets for moving! After a lot of research and asking around, we choose Adrian and Stairhoppers team to move us across the city. I can't overstate how courteous and professional they were, packing up an entire house and doing it not only quickly but with the care needed to ensure everything would survive the drive. We have a lot of glass and ceramic decorative items that needed special attention and they provided the expertise needed to keep them unbroken. Adrian also charges reasonable fees and doesn't surprise you with hidden charges and phony fees. Nobody likes moving, but this was a pleasure to experience such awesome service. Trust me these guys are great!

The two young men who arrived were incredibly friendly, professional, and fast. No matter what change I made or added, they smiled and said "Okay, no problem!" I have moved quite a few times in my day and I can honestly say working with these two men was an entirely new experience. I will use Stairhopper Movers again, for sure!

The move was seamless. My first contact was with Diana who was very knowledgeable and helpful in deciding the size truck we would need for our relocation. We were promptly notified by email with information and description of the services. After accepting the services, we were contacted to confirm the particulars about the move. The movers arrived on time and began to efficiently and carefully pack and load the moving van. Upon arrival at our new address, these three movers efficiently moved our household into our new home. They were courteous and were very helpful. They even moved a bed out of our home to make room for our new bed. They also delivered an extra bed to my neighbor a block away. I would highly recommend this company.

The movers arrived at my place right on time and called me before hand to give me a heads up. They packed up the important items like the TV, recliners, bed and so on very carefully. The condo that I was moving into had narrow staircases which would make moving difficult. However Stairhopper movers smartly used the balcony door to move as much stuff as possible. They also managed to move all my stuff up the narrow stairs swiftly without damaging anything. Overall they were very professional and friendly.
