Overall great experience. Professionals, quick, and on time.

These guys are fast! I had them pack for me and they packed every single little thing, including the router. That was the only thing I had to tell them to unpack as I needed to return it to the communications company. Nothing was broken in the move, which is by itself, a miracle. I am no stranger to moving and they were by far the most professional company I have used. They cost less than their competition and other companies didn’t even call me back when I first inquired. Stairhoppers was not only very responsive initially but my questions that followed were always answered in a timely manner by friendly, knowledgeable people. Customer service is alive and well…

Went great! They moved me out of a fifth floor walk up into a third floor walk-up within 4 hours. These guys are total pros!

The movers showed up 10 minutes early. They were very professional and were able to get our things loaded on the truck in record time. They were very careful with our furniture. We will readily hire them again.

Absolutely FANTASTIC! Great communication. Pricing was simple, straightforward and extremely reasonable. The moving crew was punctual, polite, friendly, courteous, hard working, efficient and respectful of our belongings. They took apart and reassembled desks, wrapped our furniture carefully and positioned the furniture where we wanted at our new location and removed all packing materials. I can't say enough good things about them. They far exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend this company! HOORAY! High quality customer service still exists!

They were FANTASTIC! I can't say enough good things. The guys arrived early and got right to work. They were so fast, our house was packed into the truck in less than 2 hours. They accidentally forgot the grill, which I realized after they had departed, and they returned to put it on the truck. Unloading was also done in about two hours and the guys were great about making sure they knew exactly where everything was going.

Requested refund through Angie's List because the details listed were incorrect. There is no travel time included in the deal (vendor said it was a misprint) and it was going to make the cost far too expensive.

These guys are great! Handled a complicated move with no problem. Called me back quickly with an estimate, set up the times and dates quickly, and arrived on time and met the estimated hours. Their pricing was better than all others I tried, and the guys were just great. Very polite, professional, quick and neat. Nothing broken. Highly recommended!!

Head guy was very pleasant, but he was the only one who spoke English, and I think that caused some problems with both communication and labeling boxes. He and the 3-man crew came over to pack the day before move day. We'd done a lot of it so we were surprised at how long it took. They returned at 7:30 the next morning. At 11 that night they were still unpacking the trucks. I've done a lot of moves, sometimes in difficult rural situations or in the middle of a crowded city and it's never taken 15-16 hours. As it got later things got more haphazard. They were exhausted and so were we. Things were just getting dumped. I had asked them several times to make sure and put down the rug pads before the furniture went on to make it easier on us. They clearly didn't want to do that. At the moment I don't even know where the pads are. The box labeling went badly. Searching for our master bedroom bedding (again) I found it in a box labeled "guest bedroom pictures." It's taking me a lot of extra time to unpack because so many boxes were dumped in the wrong rooms and/or mislabeled. We gave them generous tips packing day and moving day. I don't regret it because they were nice guys and they worked very hard, but even for a move from a storage space and a 3-bedroom condo to a house half an hour away it seemed to take an awfully long time. And now it's taking extra time to deal with misplaced and mislabeled boxes.

They were on time. Move went smoothly. Comparing to our previous two moves, this move took a little more time. Three people---- two were working and one was on the phone all the time. But their rate is more reasonable.

The crew arrived on time. They worked efficiently to load everything and pack up what was left to pack up. The move was smooth and easy. Scheduling was easy and the management was easy to work with. They were so gentle with the items -not a scratch or mark anywhere. Would definitely recommend them highly.

The moving team was terrific! We hired them last minute to clean out a lot of garbage and boxes from an apartment. They were wonderful and packed boxes really quickly, carried them down 5 flights of stairs and did anything that needed to be done!

Great for the most part. We had some issues moving a couch, and in retrospect, I ended up paying more for the time and incremental cost of hoisting a couch than the actual deprecated cost of the couch itself!

Service was fine, but not great. Several of our antiques were handled with carelessly and reassembled shoddily. When I asked them about it, they said "it was like that before." Their insurance policies are terrible. I paid for the policy, but they rushed me through the inspection. Other moving companies give you days (or weeks) to figure out if anything was broken/damaged, but they insist that you make any claims on the spot.

Great service, from the time you call to the end of the actual job. They handled our items with care and were priced very competitively. The job foreman answered all questions and was professional and polite. They worked hard all day with very few breaks and cleaned up after themselves. What more can you ask for in a moving company?

Simply put, the service was outstanding. We have used them 3 times so far and each time have been highly impressed with their professionalism, taking extreme care by paying attention to details to ensure all goes smoothly. Above all, Diana Ghiura deserve to be mentioned for rendering excellence in service. She is a true professional with flawless follow up every step of the way. Furthermore, she was very accommodating. For example, we asked to have the same gentlemen managing the move, as we had had before. She made all the changes so we could have the same movers we had before. She is the best. I highly recommend using Stairhopper if you need the best.

Overall the service was good and the movers paid attention to make sure my furnitures etc were wrapped properly before moving onto the truck. In comparison to my prior experience with stairhoppers, this time wasn't as great as first time I used them. The 2 movers from the first time (from last year) were very efficient and fast, no interruption by cell phone calls multiple times or slowing down at any point. I feel the movers this time, although they stated having worked for the company for 4 years, spent much longer with an easier move this time around for a one bedroom, compared to my past experience with the same company. Overall I would still recommend the company but it's not as great as my experience before with the same company. I may try another moving company next time to compare services. The person who I was in contact to arrange my move prior to moving is very nice and flexible when I needed to change the move date once.

Move went smoothly. However, we have noticed a few items that were damaged during the move and that the crib and beds they put together were not put together very well and have needed to be re-tightened/fixed. But overall the team was great and for the price they can't be beat. I'd hire again, I'd just pay closer attention to them when they are assembling furniture.

I had a coupon, so I can't remember the price. They're on time and reliable.
