All the people at Stairhoppers - the women who helped plan the move and confirm it over the phone, the supervisor, Marios, and his team of three movers - were very efficient and pleasant. The movers covered all the furniture with blankets and were very careful about moving it especially in tight spots. Although the move might have cost a little more than average, I feel that it was worthwhile.

This is the second time that we’ve used Stairhopper Movers. In both cases, the men were professional and hard working. They wrap/cushion all furniture and take great care with handling. We also found the team to be very personable and good natured. They were very patient with us when deciding where to place certain items. We would highly recommend StairHoppers for your move.

We had three guys and a truck. They called when they were on their way and arrived on time. The three guys were so efficient working as a team and absolutely handled everything professionally. They were very polite and showed appreciation when we tipped them and provided water. It made our move to Boston so easy and smooth and we will definitely use them again and recommend their services to our friends.

Extremely well. Out of 4 house moves we have done this is the first time we can say we were happy with the process. They came on time with a big crew and multiple trucks, got the move out and move in done in a little under the estimated time, and their crew worked hard the whole time. On top of that, their price was among the lowest we found, with a little bonus discount for paying in cash.

The team from Stairhoppers was fantastic in moving us out of a 4th floor walk-up and into a new home on a really hot day. The arrived right on time and expertly packed up our kitchen and furniture. They were great communicators and handled everything quickly and professionally. Really glad we went with this company for the move, and had a great experience with the crew.

Really well! We were so happy with our experience working with Stairhopper Movers. We were impressed with the company from the beginning to the end of the moving process. Initially, the relocation consultants were very helpful in providing us with an estimate and describing the logistics of the process. They were easy to get in touch with and took a lot of time to answer our many questions. Then, on the day of, our movers (Junior and Elias) were excellent. They arrived right on time, and they were very hard-working and efficient while also being careful with our belongings. We would definitely use Stairhopper Movers again and would highly recommend the company!

Mona (office), and Jaime, Omar, and Jorge (movers) (I hope I got their names correct) are absolutely wonderful. They were courteous, friendly, and professional from start to departure. I had a challenging move because my house is tall, my stairs are many, steep, and winding, my doorways are narrow, and my house suffered a catastrophic fire some time ago. Another Boston-area moving company walked off the job last week, leaving me high and dry, because they were too scared of my house, my stairs, and probably of the job itself. I needed a good crew to get out the really challenging big stuff, after I have already removed everything I could handle myself. The hardest piece of all was my treasured, massive, fragile (from age) vintage kitchen stove with a heater on one side. I'd guess it weighs close to 300 pounds. I love this thing and was heartsick about having it cut up and tossed in a Dumpster, so... Stairhopper to the rescue! The guys carefully disassembled everything that would come apart without damage. Then wrapped it up like a Christmas present in moving blankets and tape. Then maneuvered it carefully through narrow doorways and down my steep and winding stairs, put it where I wanted it for long term storage, and reassembled it like the pros they are. Everything else was smooth sailing after that. They navigated my odious low-ceilinged nasty-bulkhead-stairs old basement and hauled out about 80 boxes, and took them into my even more low-ceilinged new basement. They got down a hugely heavy convertible sofa, massive oak desk, and very heavy walnut bureau (alas, all headed for the street since charity stores are mostly closed for the pandemic) without mishap. Pleasant to deal with, so careful of my things, and the guys did not complain about the weirdness of working in a burned house. This is particularly remarkable because the previous moving company flip-flopped between being willing to help me in my time of need, but then the aggressive (and unmasked!) owner came over to yell in my face about bad working conditions (gee, I am sorry my house burned, too) and pulled his men off the job without doing a single thing except waste my time and try my patience. Stairhopper, by contrast, was compassionate about the circumstances requiring my having to vacate my home, and did everything they could to help me. So my advice is: Got a tough move? Get Stairhopper! Got an ordinary move? Get Stairhopper! You will be very happy with how they treat you, and how they treat your things.

The move was fast and smooth, the movers were efficient and courteous, and the price was right. I did my own packing, but the move was slightly complicated by the fact that some of a contents of the house were moving, not everything. As soon as they showed up, then, I walked them around the house and had to explain what was going and what was staying. No problem---it was all perfect.

The movers were great at working with me while I finished things up, and they did a great job of disassembling/reassembling furniture. They also got most boxes into the right places based on the labels. Very nice people.

My movers - Ricardo, Werner and Omar were just fantastic! They showed up on time, with a wonderful attitude and most important to me - wearing masks! No doubt this is a tricky time to move and we wouldn't do it if we didn't have to, Stairhopper made it a smooth and easy experience! The guys were congenial, careful and FAST!!! I was really impressed by the crew's professionalism, strength, and fortitude. They took very good care of furniture and delicate belongings, and placed everything in my new home carefully. It was so nice of them to take apart my bed and put it back together again in my new home! They were also careful to wear masks and practice social distancing. I can't say enough how grateful I am.
