The crew we got was absolutely phenomenal. They fell right within the time frame that was quoted, were as polite and considerate as could be, and worked straight through from the time they arrived until the packed up. Literally not a moment's rest. And the professionalism and expertise in the trade was unreal. I've never seen guys make handles out of the packing tape to more safely and quickly move the furniture up stairs and stuff ... I mean, it was unbelieveable. I own a small business and am not impressed with much, you usually get what you pay for ... I felt that I got more than what I paid for. I'm extremely happy.

The team arrived on time, were super friendly, and took great care of our belongings. This is the 2nd time we’ve used Stairhopper and both experiences have been great. Prices were fair, but you get that when you move peak season in Boston. Would highly recommend to friends and family.

Super easy move because of their organization and professionalism. I liked that I could email someone with questions ahead of time. My move from a one bedroom fourth floor walk up in Back Bay to Charlestown condo took less than four hours. The moving team was very courteous and effective.

George, Selvin and Felipe were excellent. The move was not easy given we were on the 2nd floor of a multi-family that had a narrow windy staircase with additional obstructions (railing, radiator, etc). They quickly removed the door and railing and were able to move everything without scratching or damaging floors, walls, or my personal items! Really can't ask for much more than that...

I've never used movers before, but after working with Stairhoppers I'm sold and will definitely hire them, specifically, again in the future. Their online portal made getting a quote and booking SO fast and efficient. I was able to ask questions over chat - I hate talking on the phone, so this was a huge plus! The team that moved us was INCREDIBLE. Kind, funny, helpful, and so thorough. We really enjoyed working with them. Honestly couldn't believe we got such amazing service at such an affordable rate.

David and his team from Stairhoppers did an excellent job moving us from our two bedroom apartment in Boston to our house in the suburbs. They were professional, kind, and efficient. I would recommend them to my friends and hire them again.

The guys were scheduled to arrive between 11-2. They actually called and asked if they could come earlier because their first job finished quicker than they anticipated. They ended up showing up around 9:45 which was awesome. They packed the truck super quickly and were careful with my things. They also unloaded the truck to my third floor walk up with amazing speed. I have no idea how the **** these two guys took these heavy boxes up the stairs with ease. Overall it was about 2.5 hours from load to unload. The guys were super nice and attentive. Couldn’t ask for better service. I will hire again next time I move.

Very thorough and efficient. If you don't take it, they will pack it! 2 days of packing and loading large home into storage for 2 months waiting for new home to be built. Covid careful throughout the 2 days. Very reasonably priced.

We had a crew of four arrive promptly at 6am and complete our move by 2pm. They were quick and professional.

Awesome move! I would definitely use Stairhoppers again. The movers were so conscientious with my items but also finished the move in record time and were able to arrange everything so that my large apartment fit in the truck and did not require two trips. Highly recommend!

We had a great experience! The crew packed our three bedroom house in 3 hours and the cost was significantly less than quoted. Our move was smooth and David & the rest of the crew were great to work. We also changed our move date a few times and folks in the office were responsive to our adjustments and always happy to answer questions. I would highly recommend this team to anyone!

I hired stairhopper to clear my grandmothers apartment. She has vintage furniture and precious valuables. I was nervous to have anyone packing her belongings, but the crew was wonderful. They wrapped everything so meticulously and stacked beautifully in our storage unit. The price was the best I found in the city. Thanks Stairhopper!

Terrific. They were right on time, worked quickly, were careful with all my stuff and even disassembled some things and put them back together perfectly at the new place. I was particularly nervous about a couple of large/awkward cabinets and how they were going to get them down my twisty stairs and it was no issue at all! A pleasure to work with. Also really appreciated all of the move date reminders ahead of time - email, text and phone call.

Stair hoppers is aces with communication. Before the moving date the office checked in and the confirm your move date several times. The moving crew works hard. I moved on a hot day and these guys kept moving. So fast. I had a couch that was super hard to get out of the house but they did it and were great about it. I was missing some hardware for my dresser and they found something In their tool box that would make it better. I would happily use Stairhopper again and I will suggest to everyone I know that is moving to also use them. M

It went great! The movers were so incredibly helpful and nice. It was a pleasure working with them, they made the experience very easy.

It went great! Ozzy and Guam were very friendly chatting about soccer and video games (two of my hobbies), yet they didn't slow down at any point despite it being their second move of the day in 90 degree heat. Would definitely recommend stairhoppers and especially Ozzy and Guam!

Poorly, and I wouldn’t recommend this company. Below is a list of the reasons for my deep dissatisfaction with Stairhopper. • To start, the moving team was late and arrived short-staffed. • When they arrived and we did a walk-through, Chris, the supervisor, immediately got frustrated because he felt he didn't have the information he should have. He treated me as if it were my fault and not his own or Stairhopper’s. • During the walk-through I told him I had an expensive, antique mahogany desk that I wanted thoroughly wrapped. He used cellophane instead of blankets. • I told him to take the drawers out of two dressers because they had glass fronts (and added a lot of extra weight) but he didn't. • He complained that my partner and I hadn’t prepared for the move. In fact, we had packed for several days prior to the move date. Moreover, for the first 1.25 hours, he and his crew moved items non-stop out of the apartment and only slowed down when bigger items were left. • He acted and talked to me as if I were part of his team insisting that I be downstairs opening the doors for his men. • Rather than using their truck, the crew moved my belongings onto the sidewalk. When I told Chris I didn't want items unattended, he insisted that nothing would get stolen. I informed him that right across the street, homeless people and drug users congregate in the park, and in fact, steal packages from doorsteps with some frequency. • When the sofa was moved out, it was completely unwrapped. He later told me he didn’t wrap it because [he made the judgment that] it was “old and dirty and would get dog hair on his blankets.” It is a $2000 Room & Board sofa I bought in 2018 but he was more concerned about speed and his $6.00 moving blankets than safely moving my possessions. • Because he didn’t wrap the sofa, the upholstery was torn during the move. When I pointed this out and we discussed compensation, he literally laughed at my request of $100. He said it was an easy fix (untrue) and offered $25. We settled on a $50 discount because by that point, I just wanted him gone. I hired Stairhopper because of their great ratings here and on other websites. They were the most expensive company, but I was willing to pay more to make a stressful situation a little easier. In the end, Chris made it much worse than it had to be. I would not recommend this company and would go out of my way to warn others not to in order to save them from a similar moving experience.
