I'm really impressed with Stairhopper. I had to pack and move a 4 bedroom house on short notice, and Stairhopper was able to schedule me for a 2-day move 7 days out (which was a month sooner than other movers I talked to could do it.) Sebastian and his team were fantastic--professional, efficient, hard-working, and friendly. They earn 5 stars on that alone, but I was particularly impressed by the little things that went above and beyond. For example, when wrapping table leaves in tape, they carefully doubled up the tape on itself to make sure no part stuck to wood. Or when packing up a room, they made sure not to pack things most people would just toss in a box but then need later (TP, broom, cleaner, hand soap, screwdriver, extra car keys, etc.). In short, they were true pros, putting their moving wisdom to great use and help. Additionally, because the move was happening on such short notice, I was making my mind up on the fly (and sometimes changing it) regarding what would get packed and where it would go; the team was very flexible and gracious in accommodating this decision-making. I will certainly use Stairhopper again for my next move, and in particular will request Sebastian.

This was, by far, the best move I’ve ever experienced. These guys were efficient, completed the move on time and within budget, and were absolutely professional. I do not hesitate to recommend them because it was a uniquely positive experience among many lesser experiences.

Holy Moses! Not only did they show up during a declared emergency (luckily the storm downgraded, but not till last minute/within reasonable cancelation policy as the state declared an emergency.) They called, texted and emailed confirmation that they’d show. And when they did, they were superb. The were meticulous and efficient and so fast we couldn’t help but laugh at how feeble and wasted our individual efforts had been up to that point. Staff were amazingly personable, kind, and helpful. Actual price came in well below the quote as well. 10/10 would rehire, even without having to move during an emergency.

The movers were prompt and professional. They arrived with all equipment needed and quickly loaded my belongings. Even in the rain, they remained professional and positive and made my move seamless. All of my things were delivered with care and had no damage whatsoever. Would recommend and would hire again.

StairHopper helped guide us through the estimate and booking process. After booking, they answered all of our questions and tailored the move to our circumstances. The movers showed up promptly when they were scheduled and were extremely helpful when there was a problem with parking. After that, it was smooth sailing as they broke down furniture and helped us pack the kitchen. Unload was quick and they were sure to make sure they reassembled everything correctly. Overall, a great move!
