Description of Work: They sent out the required apparatus to me. The apparatus was a breeze to setup. It took me about an hour to attach everything. I did have some issue with setting up the base station as it needed to be reset. Called them up and was resolved in 15 minutes. Their web monitoring system was amazing. I accidentally tested the security system the next day. My wife not used to this system, armed it incorrectly causing alarm to go off. I was in a meeting did not pick up the phone till a little later and Sheriff deputy was at our house in 20 minutes. He would not even go till he confirmed with me. I called the security company gave them my password and they called up the sheriffs office immediately.

Description of Work: This is a quality, low cost alarm. For $15 a month you can connect your house to the police station if you so choose; compared to practically every other service this is a bargain. Otherwise, there is no monthly fee (you buy and install the system yourself). I emailed once about a potential problem. They promptly answered (be advised that you cannot talk to customer service on the weekend -- they are closed). However, you can call the surveillance company any time of the day or night (for false alarms, etc.). This is a great alarm at a great price.

Description of Work: Basic alarm system purchased from them through Angieslist at a fantastic price. I'd been looking into a system for some time and they offered the best, easiest to install, and at a great price even without the Angieslist offer which saved me nearly $150. I received the units after a slight mixup on the shipping address and installed them w/o problem in 30 minutes. All units functioned perfectly. I did not want to use their monitoring service and made a quick call to determine how to turn off the system's warning alarm about this. Call was answered immediately and I was transferred to agent who helped with the necessary adjustment to the system in less than 5 minutes. Excellent service at a wonderful price.

Description of Work: I received the alarm system promptly, and a representative of the company contacted me to see if I had questions or if they could be of further service, but I have not installed it yet as it is for property which presently has a renter. When this individual moves out in the next month or so, the alarm system will be installed and activated. I am pleased with the company and products so far.

Description of Work: TRIED TO PURCHASE THIS PACKAGE. TOOK A LONG TIME TO FIND US IN THE SYSTEM, THEN THEY COULD NOT DECIDE WHEN THEY COULD SHIP OUT THE PRODUCT, CHANGED THEIR MIND SEVERAL TIMES. NOT HAPPY WITH THE CONVERSATION I WAS PREPARED TO SPEMD NEARLY A THOUSAND, BUT NOT CONFIDENT I WOULD GET GOOD SERVICE.

Description of Work: The system works well. The difficulty is getting support if something doesn't work. They are only open weekdays and Sunday from 9 to 6. Once I finally got someone on the phone, they sent me a new component and overall the system is very user friendly.

Description of Work: they provide wireless security components...ie, entry & window, motion, panic, keychain activators, siren, fire and monitoring which i got @19.99 which provides me both text message and email alerts for all acitivity. the initial $600 is for my ownership of all components which can be removed and taken with me...i installed everything myself and was up & running within an hour....

Description of Work: This was a self installed system and it was very easy, good instructions. all parts were provided, no parts were defective, an all-around good experience. As others have said in the reviews I have read, the equipment is not ultra "cutting edge" but it performs effectively totally as needed and I have no need for better hardware. I highly recommend.

Description of Work: Went very well. Installed all the hardware by myself. Because I live out in the country, had to change to a different cell phone card in the base unit to get wireless to work OK. Installed back in September of 2013. Very few issues. Any problems were promptly taken care of by customer support and any questions I had were promptly and professionally answered.

Description of Work: Their self installed wireless security system product is great. Also, they include a good set up wizard that steps users through the installation. Everything was going well, until it was time to activate the system and connect to the monitoring service. The activation code they gave me did not fit in the space provided where I was to type it in the online form. So, I could not get the service activated through the set up wizard. I was doing this in Sunday night when customer service was closed, so had to bail out and wait until the next day. I called Monday morning, and it took the customer service rep only about 15 minutes to rectify. But it would be better if the form provided online was coordinated with the activation code length so this glitch would not have happened. Despite this hiccup, it seems like a good system and I plan to use it in another property we have.
