The price isn't very much, it is a basic package. We love it, they are great! They have great customer service and good products. They are very affordable.

Installation was very easy, the devices were already pre-paired. Online and app control work fine and the whole process of signing up for the subscription was also easy. We had to also register (and pay a separate fee) with the local police department but Simply Safe sent us a reminder that this would be the case so they even helped with that as far as they could. Just one tiny drawback about ordering this deal on Angies List. Simply Safe is also sold on Amazon and there the shipping would have been faster and/or cheaper. However, the equipment price is quite a bit cheaper on Angie's list so it was still worth it.

SimpliSafe promptly shipped the required equipment and it performed as intended.

I ordered the system, set it up, started service. I left a few messages for them to call me as I needed to lower the service and never received a return call. I do like the service, just wish they had better customer service.

It was not that great. We thought that we would be able to get certain services and we wouldn't have to pay for the monitoring but it was not like that. That wasn't made very clear. We thought one of the advantages of SimpliSafe was to avoid paying monitoring fees, but that was not the case. We were not really happy with it. We'll wait too long to install it. It was not that easy to use.

Ordered the system they Angie's List. Installation was very easy. Everything works as described. I have the interactive monitoring with text messages. No problems. I've had no false alarms. Very quick response with the text monitoring.

awesome. from the beginning of the order, to promptly receiving the product, to activating it a few months later. associates at call center assisted with activation in a highly professional manner. system exactly as promised and simple to install. have been using it for the past week now and love it.

Bought a new home alarm system. I was easy to install and customer service was great.

It's going well. It's not that hard to, we got it up and then the, we haven't really hooked up the telephone service. The installation part was okay but the, you know, it had the service component, right, so that you can see how your setting up at home, you can actually set it up so that if somebody does break into your house the system will call the police. That part is a pain in the as* to set up so we didn't do that part. The thing is definitely an important feature because, you know, otherwise when people break into the house and there is really loud alarms only in the house, nobody else would know, so how is that going to be helpful? So right now, after installation, it's mostly like a piece of mind, and if the alarm does go off in the middle of the night, frankly, we wouldn't know what to do. It's like there is an intruder in the same house and that's about it. So what we really wanted to do was set it up so it would call the police and that part is just complicated. I think overall it's pretty good but the setup part is just painful. The system was pretty well designed, I'll give them that and the complicated part might not be there fault, might be the police are too picky and say there not going to enter any call from the system, you know, so there making us jump through the hoop. So it may not be there fault it might be the police departments fault but still if they want there product to be successful they have to figure out a way to make it easier for me, or talk to a police, or a grievance, or set up the website where it automatically in notifying the police, that kind of thing. Otherwise we have to do all the leg work. The price was okay. I think the price was an A because it's still cheaper than everything out there and so I would say price is great. Quality has been great, not a problem, these are pretty simple devices. They sent the package to me and I did everything else. I would use them in the future but I would also tell people that the kind of challenging part, maybe some people will be willing to go through trouble, I just don't have time for that. I would still recommend it. I think for a solution it is pretty affordable and but for some other people, the full package service option, come and install for you, set everything up for the piece of mind, I wouldn't recommend it. For somebody like me, a do it yourselfer, I would recommend that.

Switched from another security system. Monthly monitoring cost is about 1/3 as much. Easy installation. The main keypad isn't fancy but for the price, it's usable. Works like a charm. Will announce if you have left a window or door open when alarming the system. You can add and disable sensors from the main keypad or an account on your computer. I can also arm and disarm the system from the key chain fob or my phone remotely. The only problem I had was with a smoke detector going off for no reason. Simplisafe told me to vacuum it periodically. Disabled it and went back to one not connected to the system. All the other sensors work flawlessly. I would highly recommend them.

Installation was a breeze. We have been using the system for about a year and a half and it has worked flawlessly. We test the system every quarter or so and always have a prompt phone call from the service center.

The kit installs itself. I was up and running in no time. Took longer to deal with the Command strips than to actually install the sensors. One thing to keep in mind with the door/window sensors. There is no need to put the two really close to each other. The magnet is very strong, and I have them at about an inch away and it works perfectly. Overall the system does what it's supposed to. I did not opt for the monitoring service as of yet. Keep in mind that apparently the monitoring service opens this system up for further user interaction and modification, i.e. an app, naming the sensors, etc. As is, the keypad does not identify each sensor by name and there doesn't seem to be an option to name the sensors. This could get problematic if you have a lot of sensors and have a door or window ajar. Apparently, in reading up on this topic, even with monitoring service activated, the keypad still will not acknowledge sensors by name, instead you will have to use the app. This in my opinion is the only shortcoming of this system. Other than that, I recommend this for the DIY type or for those who don't want to rip up walls for a hardwired solution.

Everything I needed was in the box and the instructions were easy to follow.

We ordered the alarm system for our camp. It arrived when scheduled and my husband installed it. We had a few issues installing it, and called Simply Safe and the representative talked us through everything making it for a smooth installation. We initially were not going to get the alarm monitored, but later on did and are very pleased with the service we have received. Alarm works beautifully and because this is a second home, we really have a sense of security when we are not there.

Very good "do it yourself" all wireless system. Affordable monthly monitoring.

The shipping took a long time. I called to find out that 8 days after my order, it still had not shipped. They ordered to give me 2 day shipping for over $30 extra. I said I was going to cancel my order and then the shipping became free. Received my order in two days, but three items are missing from the box. Both window stickers and the yard sign. So my home will be protected, but from the outside a robber is not detoured. So far, super frustrating to work with.

This is a great deal. If you're interested in a Simplisafe system, this is a much better deal than what you'd get directly from their website. I got my Angie's List subscription just to take advantage of this deal!

The self install was an easy and smooth process. The equipment is not as stylish as other manufactures but everything functions well and is inexpensive. I am looking forward to the video cameras release.

Self-installation was very easy and accomplished in minimal time. While I have had significant experience with alarm systems, a novice could easily install this system.

It was fine. I received the package. I haven't installed it. I'm waiting to get some time to do that. I received it within 5 business days. I asked for an additional sensor to be added which they did for me. The price was good.

The instructions on installing are vague. The website is where you can find the information you need. Haven't signed up for the monitoring service yet but plan to when away from the house for extended time. Paying for the service monthly without signing a contract is a big plus.
