The service was fine. I have not had to have contact with them at all and I actually bought two or three others since then.

It was okay. I wouldn't say it was great, but it was okay. The unit was about $300 with a $15 monthly payment. The unit is cheap, the installation is easy, but the service is not so great.

It was very very easy to install. Anyone could do it if they have a laptop nearby. Having a computer with a USB port does make the setup a lot faster. Don't be thrown off by the initial error message saying that the system can't connect to dispatch. Once you go online and start your monitoring service the cellular connection automatically clears that message. My only compliant is the iphone app is pretty poor. You can't really do much with it other than to check status of the system.

Went great! SimpliSafe contacted me the next day, sent out my system, and everything is great.

Simplisafe is crap, the people on the phone are incompetent and provide consistently bad information. They failed to deliver the hardware on the promised date. I cancelled the delivery and sent it all back since they failed to deliver an operational system to me by the required Useless worthless morons.

They provided me with clear directions, I got it right the first time. It was a "plug and play" product. I didn't have to contact the company once because of the clarity of the directions and simplicity of the system.

Very easy to install. Customer Service is great, helped me with a couple of questions I had. This is the second purchase from SimpliSafe.

Good, good actually, I actually purchase two of them. One of them I haven't installed as yet but it works pretty well, but we did get moderate calls warning us of if we didn't get the fifteen dollar a month contract that we could be have problems with the police. Just because they would say we have your alarms going off and it's not registered with the security company, they should have put that in front of you and say that they will be potential issues with the security systems if it's not registered with the security company.

I love it. I ended up buying a surge protector. It was pretty simple to put it all together. This is the second system that I bought from them.

I was skeptical about installing the system myself. It was very easy and was able to complete the install in less than an hour. The tutorial that comes with the system was very easy to follow. When I had what I thought was a small issue, I called the support line and was assisted quickly. So far everything has been great and works well.

It self installed very quickly. I was able to buy the main unit and sensors only that I wanted. I opted in on monitoring as it was reasonably priced.

Simply Safe security systems are DIY installations. The instructions are excellent. When you call you will get to talk to a very professional representative. The only problem that we encountered was with the FOBs. They would stop working and then you would have to remove and replace THE SAME BATTERY and they would then work again. We eliminated this problem by carrying a touch panel in our car. As we have a sensor on our garage door, the alarm will activate if you don't shut it off. With the FOB you really didn't know if the alarm was on or off when you pressed the button. With the touch panel you could watch the screen and know for sure whether the alarm was on. The response when the alarm or smoke detector is activated is instant. The phone rings in seconds. I would suggest that you use the tape strips provided to get the sensors placed and when you are sure use the screws. I also suggest you call before you order so you are sure you get the module with the strongest signal for your area. You must have a cell phone signal for this to work. We have the program that costs $14.99 a month. NO CONTRACTS! The system works without the monitoring service but at $180 a year and a savings of $113 on my homeowners policy that's a net cost of $67 or less than $6 a mo. That is a great price for peace of mind. One other thing. Buy your system directly from the SimplySafe. While you can find the components at Amazon you will probably pay more. I priced a smoke detector and it was twice the amt. I paid for it from SimplySafr. We have had the system for over two years and love it!

Got shipping on time. Setting up the system was also easy. Its been 4 months into the monitoring service, never had to use them for any emergency yet so really don't know the response time here. But have been recommended by many friends who have been using their service. Their App is good too. Good thing is no contract so you can stop/start service any time. Starting can be done online but for stopping you need to call customer service and during business hours so beware of that. No complaints about the system as of yet. Paid 229 for the system + 24.99 subscription per month. In comparison to ADT, I am saving around $20+ a month so my system will pay off in a year. Since there are no wires it is easy to remove and take the system with you anywhere you move. Like it so far.

It was okay. I liked the price. I didn't have much interaction with them. My interaction was okay. It has been working okay. We've had a few problems but it was resolved.

We bought a new house and set up our simplisafe system right away. The first week we were in our home, we went away and armed the system. An hour and a half later, we received a call that there had been a motion sensor alarm. However, on review of the alarm history on our simplisafe app, the alarm was actually tripped 3 minutes after we armed the system. It took them an hour and a half to notify us that there was a problem. We talked to a customer service manager who said he was not able to get to the bottom of why that happened. We are cancelling our service. Unacceptable.

The system is a self-installation. The door and window sensors have a 2-inch gap where you can open the door or window at least 2 inches before the alarm will sound. Also, there are postings online about how to defeat this wireless system. The provider has been contacting about this issue, but they have no intention of fixing this vulnerability. Otherwise, I've been happy with the system.

Perfect!! No contract security provider with low prices. I hope Simplisafe keeps this up with added upgrades. I've had Simplisafe for two years now and am pleased. I recommended to a a family member and she purchased also. Simplisafe gives me piece of mind when I am away from my home. I made the right choice.

It turned out fine and it was very easy to install. Unfortunately there was a miscommunication, they thought I needed a permit from Orange County and Orange County doesn't require permits. I installed it myself. If you had any problems you could call them and they would walk you through it plus they also had a video. You're not locked in to some high priced monitoring system like some of them do. You really don't need more than what they give you and if you do, you can order it separately.

Prior to buying a home I did a lot of research into what alarm system I wanted to get. I knew that the large established companies out there are WAY over priced for what you get. When I used to work in IT start ups in Boston, I had heard of Simplisafe and that is where I started. I purchased the $299.00 starter kit from Angie's List and then went through the Simplisafe website directly for supplemental components to customize the system. Overall I saved about $50.00 off retail with the Angie's List special and purchasing additional components. The system itself was easy to install and set up. I accidentally inputted the wrong code for 2 components when I set it up. I called Simplisafe and they took care of the rest. I love the alarm system and I think that $14.99 a month for no frills monitoring is a fair price. I am very happy with Simplisafe and definitely recommend their system.

Its much more affordable than some other competitors. I also have more features and more control of what I can access on my phone. The customer service is also great. I haven't had any problem.

The system is spectacularly easy to install, as well as to correct install mistakes. I ordered a medium sized package, and after putting those sensors in place, decided I wanted some more. Ordering from the website was easy and very reasonably priced. Only 2 slightly negative things. One is regular shipping is ground from the East Coast. Being on the other side of the country meant waiting quite a while for the shipment, unless of course I wanted to pay more. The second is the base unit. It talks to you, is the communications center for monitored coverage and also uses lights to indicate if there is a problem, such as an opened window. So far so good. The bad part is not having monitoring is considered a "problem," so the base light is constantly flashing. Intruders familiar with SimpliSafe will be able to spot the flashing light through semi-sheer curtains and know that while there will be noise, law enforcement will not be notified. I would turn off the flashing light if possible. Given the "not connected" message is also done textually on the keypad, it seems excessive.

I had looked at this company for the last year. As I had was unhappy with everything what I said above.
