The system was self-installed and everything went great! This deal on Angie's List was the best one for the items and price. Shipping was fast and the instructions that came with the system was easy to follow and easy to install. I love that it was all tape and no need to drill any holes. Makes it easier to transport when I move as I installed it in an apartment. Simplisafe also offered the best prices for the monthly plans as many other alarm companies charged a lot higher monthly fee. This was a plus in my book. I had an initial issue where my base station was not connecting upon set-up because of a defective chip. Called customer service and they were super friendly and helpful and had a great experience. They gave me a free month for my inconvenience, and shipped a new chip to me via next-day air at no charge. Upon installing the new chip, all was good to go and have had no issues since. I recommend!

Very well! They mailed it, it was very easy & we set it up. When I had a question concerning the city it was going to be hooked up in as far police not responding, they let me know the security company that would respond and how that all worked. We had an alarm go off one time, they called us promptly, it was a false alarm and everything was good.

This was a $199 big deal purchase. It worked out real good so far. The system came to me a few days after I ordered it -- it was within a week. There is a monthly prescription for monitoring. I liked that their service was just as advertised. The system is working out just fine.

I just like it. It worked. I would use SimpliSafe Home Security again.

The system was easy to install and looks like it was professionally done, We ordered extra sensors and one arrived defective. Customer service quickly replaced it with a new one. The system is very easy to arm and disarm.

It was good. It's a service that I have to pay monthly for surveillance and monitoring. The overall service is reliable.

They tried shipping via UPS to a po box. They're incompetent and I'm starting to question their company. They sent a 2nd unit via UPS. They should should know to ship to USPS to a post office box. It reminds me of a cable company or a phone company that holds your money because they can.

It worked well. It was for my daughter and I think it was really a good deal considering that for most of the other systems you have to pay a monthly fee and it covers the same area. The one thing that wasn't in the package that we added was an outside horn. They called a couple of times to ask me a question update me on something and they came quickly, we didn't have to wait a long time for them or anything. We have no complaints about it. It's like when the alarm goes off, this thing also goes off so the neighbors can hear. I thought the work was good enough that I really want to get one for our home here. I've recommended them to other people.

The kit was shipped and received quickly. The instructions to self-install were complete and clear. There were a couple of follow ups from the company within a few days of receipt to ensure I had no difficulty installing the system.

I was not very happy with the communication with this company. I am going to be returning the package that I bought for the security system. SimpliSafe did not offer any kind of customer service, and kept directing me back to Angie's List to get information regarding my purchase. I could not get information about when the order would be delivered. I assumed that it was not going to come in a timely manner, so I canceled it and got a refund.

Installation instructions were basic but not really complete. Needed to talk to support several times with each time being around a 10 minute hold time. They failed to mail permit in a timely fashion and I had to call (potential for fines). Support was helpful. Their policy is not to charge shipping in the first 60 days, but web ordering did not pick this up and I needed to remind them of this policy to get refund. System while pretty basic seems to work reasonably well so far.

I ordered the simplisafe alarm system and scheduled it to be delivered to my office. After more than the 5-7 business days they had promised for delivery I called to see to follow up. The rep suggested that the order was placed, but for some reason it was not shipped out. This is unacceptable.

It arrived within 10 days. Set up instructions were very easy to follow. Questions were answered by email in a timely manner.

Went great. I definitely recommend SimpliSafe. It was as easy to install as advertised and does almost as much as the much higher price models being advertised on tv. I still plan to purchase a couple add ons like the loud outside alarm and the fire and carbon monozide alarms.

I got the system sent to our home within four days. Very easy to set up and use. So far feel very protected and happy with SimpliSafe.

well, we still can't figure out why its telling us sensors aren't working if they're not even connected? Otherwise it seems to work ok. Admittedly, I wish that there were cameras with this setup but thats the way it is.

We opted to purchase a SimpliSafe system in a deal from Angie's List and then supplement it with a few additional sensors that we felt we needed. SimpliSafe systems are designed to be installed by the homeowner (although you can also have them installed by SimpliSafe), which we opted to do. The installation was pretty straightforward and did not take a lot of time. We were able to mount all but one sensor with the included double-stick pads, and that sensor required only two small screws. Testing the system and activating the subscription service ($15 per month for active monitoring) is also pretty easily done, and you can always call them for help and advice. We did call them, and they were very professional and helpful.

pretty cool - order follow up was good, system was easy to figure out and install. i will say some of the elements are glitchy and hard to reconnect if you dont up for the monthly online monitoring but otherwise easy to use.

Service and product were excellent . Somehow the alarm got shipped to the address that was on file with Angie's List. I called the company and they sent me a second alarm to my current address and unfortunately they had to wait 2 to 3 weeks to have their original alarm returned. There was no charge and again the service was excellent. I believe the alarm cost $495. It was easy to install and actually had more features than I needed.

I just ordered some stuff that they delivered to me. Overall is just good I mean they were it was easy to install I mean they sent everything it showed up it was easy to itself to install so no major issue I didn't have to talk to them much so.
