It was fast and super easy to install. It works awesome.

Started off great, then went very badly once I needed to contact someone. The setup is as simple as promised, in that all the parts of the system communicated with each other just fine. The initial problem was that the motion sensor kept giving off false alarms. The big problem is that I could not ever get hold of someone for assistance. The customer service phone line was never answered (and I was calling during business hours), and I never got off of hold when I chose to wait. Instead, I took the option to leave a message with my call back information. No one ever called back. Finally, I emailed customer service, and no one responded to my email. I'm pretty sure they aren't ever getting back to me, since I left the phone message about two weeks ago and sent the email a couple of days after that. I'm hoping the 60 day return guarantee holds up.

I ordered it on the website so it was very easy. As far as dealing with them plus the staff coming in their customer support is not open 24/7 so the negative piece would be if you have to call them during normal business hours if you have a question. It was pretty simple to install and it took me 30 minutes. The first time I called they gave me a free accelerated shipping but it just hadn't been placed. So, they couldn't make the order happen any faster but once the order was filled it was going to ship quicker. I think maybe another three or four days went by and it still hadn't been shipped and so at that point they canceled my order and regenerated a new order at the same price. But somehow the order was different and that made it a high priority order and they gave me 2-3 months of monitoring because of the delays. They took the hard issues with fulfilling the order but they did give me something in return for my composure.

Self install system with great feature and reasonable.

It was very good. They didn't do anything, that was just mailed to me. The price was good. It worked as expected. The workers were fine.

It was fairly simple and easy to install. They made it so easy that anyone who can read and understand english can easily do it themselves.

It was fine. I just purchased the kit and the kit came. I followed the instruction and set it up. I had one problem with it and I called them and they resolved it and it was fine. I didn’t pay extra. It’s cheaper than competing alarm systems.

Ordered security system over Angie's list. The order did not go through to SimpliSafe initially. When approached Angie's, I was directed to contact SimpliSafe directly regarding my purchase through Angie's and get my equipment shipped. When approached SimpliSafe, they re-directed me to Angie's again as they did not had my purchase order from Angie's. There was a Confusion in the process. Ultimately, Angie's customer rep stepped in and got my order processed and I got my equipment shipped. But when I got my delivery, they sent the order of a different customer. It also read the customer name and address inside the box. The outside of the box was labelled correctly. In all this, I was missing a 'Freeze Sensor' that I bought as part of the package. I was not happy, as it did not have all the equipment that I paid for. So, I called up the customer service for SimpliSafe and requested to send me the missing sensor, and they did send it to me. But, by the time, it got delivered, I was not around. I would suggest Simplisafe to process order's carefully so that these issues can be eliminated.

Several components were exchanged over six weeks. In addition, there were two false alarms in five weeks. The return process went fine.

Couldn't get the aux siren to sound even with fresh batteries. Called for and got tech support within 90 minutes but after trying the protocol suggested, siren still didn't sound. Tech said they'd send out a new unit immediately at no charge with a prepaid envelope to send back the defective unit. Completely hassle-free. Very impressive.

I installed this myself, absolutely no issues. All the pieces were clearly marked and the instructions were brilliant. Beyond plug and play, just pulled the battery strips on each component and they automatically were detected and joined the alarm system. Tests went well and was up and running in about 90 minutes for a 16 piece system. I can't recommend this enough. Simple and cost effective, can't beat that!

Package arrived promptly, system was easy to install, and phone help was available. Not all the features CPI or ADT, but no contract, and lower monthly cost if you subscribe to monitoring.

Easy to set-up. Affordable kit price and monthly fees.

Shipment arrive 2 days after promised - UPS issue. The markings on the system sensors are not clear, particularly what is the top and bottom of the sensor. My door frames did not have a flat surface requiring that I mount the sensor using screws (provided) instead of the 3M stick-on tabs.

I installed it myself. It was fine. There were no unexpected issues. Price was okay. It was kind of like plastic, but that is about it. It felt a little cheap to me. I guess the product arrived on time.

The service is okay. I paid over the $199 Big Deal cost to buy other extra products. I did not like the communication system. We are actually considering cancelling it.

So far, it has been okay. Until recently I hadn?t had any problems. This week I did have a problem of it not arming, de-arming and a few other things. I armed the alarm via an app, then I got a call from their monitoring company saying that they alarm was going off. Through my app, I did not receive a text or email with an alert identifying that a door or something was entered. I found out my son was at home and he opened the door, and when he opened the door, the base station & the external siren that I paid for was not going off at all. But, it sent a signal that the alarm had been triggered, because it had been triggered. But, there was nothing audibly was going off at the house. So, it caused a huge confusion and kind of a panic factor on my end and I said dispatch the police, because at the time, I did not know my son was home. He would have de-armed it if he would have heard it. You would have heard the keypad going beep, beep, meaning it needs the code and it didn?t do that. After the amount of time, it did not siren. We eventually got it worked out. I called them, got ahold of them, we did a series of tests, a few things here and there and got it up and running like it should. The base station is off the cellular towers that T-Mobile has. They mentioned that they also have a base station for Version. I said I would prefer Version, I am a Version cell phone customer. So, they are sending me out a new base station that is Version compatible. They also credited my account for 2 months. I thought that was cool! So, on one hand I did have a hiccup or problem, we were able to work it out. Luckily nobody did break in. The other factor I was concerned with, was a fine or fee from the city and they said that it was not a problem. Meaning that they would take care of it, if I should get anything in the mail.

This was a $199 big deal purchase. It was good. I think we got a couple of extra sensors in the door so it cost a little more than the price of the deal. The price was good.

I think the sub installation process and the low contract there is no contract just really month to month thing.

It was easy to install with good instructions. The call center was very helpful.
