Simple Joy Gardens

They were excellent and I am having them come back to do some more work for me. They were little more expensive but they were worth the service.

Both ladies were lovely and responsive. I initially hired them for a "spring clean-up" which even though I am outside of their normal work area they agreed to do. By the time the day came I had decided to completely clear the area for a patio/deck, and neither of them hesitated at all. They worked quickly and were very professional giving me several tips and good ideas. They were able to dig out an Azalia plant for me to put in a pot on the new deck. I cannot speak highly enough about both of them.

They are delightful! We worked together well. I talked about the colors and kinds of flowers I liked and they helped first by telling me what would work best and then set about to create a lovely garden area for me. I live in a condo (town house). The back porch always looked so neglected but now it really is a joy to be able to sit down and relax and enjoy what Simple Joy Gardens has created. The ladies are charming, creative, patient, on time, and charge very reasonably. I have had them helping me for three years now. I highly reccomend their services.

I am thrilled with their service. They care a lot about what they do and have wonderful ideas which they execute beautifully. This is the second year I have used them and I plan on many more. Once something died early on and they replaced it without charge. I don't have the easiest garden to deal with and wanted them to hang lights in the tree and on the back fence. They have come up with great ideas, run them past me, and then listened to exactly what was right for me. They are so easy and extremely pleasant to work with. Can't say enough!

They were great. They were very personal and friendly. They are really knowledgeable. They kept us informed every step of the way, which I think was so nice. We had called a couple of places before we had hired them and both the girls really worked with us. They were really great at keeping the communication open. They were really punctual. We never had to ask them any questions; they were always on top of everything.

They were wonderful to work with - from the point of the estimate until the actual work completion.

My husband and I wanted to make our yard a space we could relax in and enjoy and Rebecca and Jannelle, of SJG, really exceeded our expectations!! We had called a few places, that gave us estimates but never showed up for the work, before finding them on angie's list and we are so glad we did! SJG was so reliable and really worked with our schedule to help bring our yard to life. We had a patio installed last summer and really wanted to have a garden around it and to fill in our yard and SJG gave us more than we could hope for. They were so knowledgeable as to what we could plant and how things would go together. We have a lot of shady parts of our yard and we didn't know there were so many beautiful shade loving plants until we hired SJG. They made a complete layout of what our backyard would look like and showed us all the stuff we could choose from. It was all about what we wanted and the final product was so much more beautiful than what we envisioned. It was so great working with these two and they made it so personal, which has not always been our experience with other companies in this area of work. We highly recommend SJG to anyone looking for any type of garden or yard work! We are so happy!

We wanted a vegetable garden this year but had no idea what to plant or how to do it. Rebecca and Jannelle helped us decide what to plant and designed and planted our whole garden for us! They put in raised beds and tested our soil to make sure it was ok to grow in (it wasn?t so they provided compost and designed the raised beds). We are now growing a lot of our own food! We also had them plant our flower boxes and put in a perennial garden for us and were so happy with their work that we have hired them to do weekly garden maintenance (weed water, deadhead etc) of our perennial garden and the vegetable garden. Rebecca and Jannelle exceeded my expectations in every way; they worked very closely with us to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. They were very professional, punctual, and responsive as well as extremely knowledgeable. They even included our two kids (5 and 7) in the process and let them help plant the veggies. The kids loved it! I would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone. They were simply fantastic.
