+ -1 moreI called with about 2 weeks notice. I had tried several other movers who were already booked but Movers in Action were flexible with their time. Because of the short length of travel and the small amount of belongings I have, Santos was very flexible with the terms of the move. He was willing to negotiate. The movers showed up right on time, wrapped all furniture very carefully, and for the most part moved things very carefully. There were a few bumps. The movers took apart and reassembled some furniture and were willing to move things that were not boxed with no problems. They also did an excellent job getting large items through a narrow doorway. All the movers were extremely personable and friendly. The move took about 2 hours. The only charge I didn't expect was the charge for the tape ($10) but besides that everything was just as expected. I was very happy with the service.
Description of Work: Movers in Action moved all my belongings from my apartment to new house, which were about half a mile apart.

+ -1 moreQUICK RESPONSE. PROMPT PUNCTUALITY. CHEERFUL PROFESSIONALISM. I COMPARED PRICES WITH SEVERAL OTHER MOVERS. MOST WERE MORE EXPENSIVE AND COULD NOT DO A SMALL JOB OR SCHEDULE IT PROMPTLY.
Description of Work: THE JOB WAS TO MOVE A WASHER AND DRYER FROM ONE LOCATION TO ANOTHER ON SAME PROPERTY INVOLVING 2 FLIGHTS OF STAIRS. TWO WORKMEN AND A SUPERVISOR DID THE JOB SWIFTLY AND NEATLY.
