Josephine & the team at Mass Floor were amazing. Very responsive. They helped us through each step of the process. We replaced flooring in 3 rooms & refinished flooring across our home to a cool grey brown stain. They did an amazing job on maple floors, ensuring that even difficult flooring held the stain beautifully.

All went well. Timmy knows his floors and gave a good estimate of which doors could be saved and which needed replacing. Josephine kept to her price and timeline and kept me informed every step of the way.

From start to finish, Josephine and Mass Floor Care were a pleasure to work with. We are so lucky to have been referred to them by another happy client, who referenced their excellent work, and competitive pricing. Josephine came to perform the estimate at the time that we requested, and was extremely responsive to all of our questions about what needed to be done, and steered us away from some expensive options that she didn't feel we needed. We found her to be very thorough in her measurements and inspection of the condition of the floor in its "before" state. She let us know what to expect from the results, and was careful to warn us up front about places that might be slightly irregular in the final product. Josephine was able to work with us to schedule around other service providers, and Mass Floor Care was able to do the work when we needed, just after closing on the new house. The schedule of work was carefully explained to us, including when it would be okay to walk on the floor and when the floor would be drying after the first, second and third coats. The workers arrived when they said they would, and the work was completed 100% according to a schedule spanning several days. It turned out beautifully, and we could not be happier with the outcome. There were no extra charges for travel or anything else, the price of the job was based on the area to be refinished. Josephine came out to look at the work to make sure that we were satisfied, and answer any of our remaining questions. The work was completed for an extremely reasonable price, and was excellent quality work. We would use Mass Floor Care again in a heartbeat, and recommend them to anyone who asks.

Josephine was amazingly responsive before, during and after the work was complete. She was also very accommodating to our timing needs. She and her team arrived promptly on a Friday afternoon after we closed on our new place. They worked tirelessly the first day removing all of the existing carpet and shoring up our subfloor. They arrived bright and early the next day and started laying the new floor. Since we have two young children and were living out of a hotel during the construction she had her team work on Sunday to complete the laying of or new floor and stairs. On Monday they came and sanded the new and existing hardwood, cleaned up all of the floors AND walls and began to apply the finish. On the topic of the finish, Josephine decided to apply a water based finish for us knowing that it was a healthier choice for our kids. By Tuesday afternoon, they had completed the job, including 3 coats of finish. We were moved in by Thursday morning. To our surprise they repaired some of the damage to our existing floors by replacing what they had to. Josephine did not like how one of the existing transitions between the hallway and one of the rooms looked and had her crew repair it for us. The costs were competitive with our other quotes but Josephine and her team were the only ones open to staying in touch with us during our home closing process and remaining fluid and open on our scheduling to get us into the house in a timely fashion. My wife and I are more then happy with they work that Mass Floor Cares performed. We would definitely use them again and will probably be calling them to help us refinish our farmers porch.

Josephine and her crew met me at the house on a Monday morning. She measured all the floors and ended up giving me an in-person quote that was slightly below what she had quoted me via email the week before. Her crew sanded everything down and repaired several uneven spots that had been created by a do-it-yourself gone wrong event at some point in the house's past. The crew got the job done in 2 days, requiring 2 additional days before we could walk on the beautifully refinished hardwood. Her crew cleaned up after themselves as well as can be expected given how dirty a job floor refinishing is and she left us a floor cleaning kit as a parting gift. I would highly recommend Mass Floor Care to anyone who needs prompt, reasonably priced hardwood floor refinishing.
