Showed up when he said that he was going to and finished right on time in the middle of a terrible snow storm so that I could get a furniture delivery the next day. His sister answers the phone and she picks up every time you call. No sitting around waiting for them to get back to you as they call back very quickly to answer any questions. When he mentioned to me in the quote that the stairs would be different than the floor, I said ok. It turned out that there was miscommunication in our understanding of each other. He did not redo the risers and therefore the risers turned out to be darker than the steps. He agreed that his earlier statement was mis-leading and resolved the issue by using a tinted varnish that matched the risers well. Everything looks fantastic and the job was completed quickly and he was very responsive to my issues regarding the steps. All in all, I give Dong high marks for his work and business ethics.

I liked that they are experienced and knowledgeable in their field. I was happy with the whole process from start to finish. Stan is the man that was in charge of this project and he did a good job.

They were very polite and prompt, even though I was late to the original quote by almost half an hour. He gave me several quotes for future use and had solid advice that matched that of others I'd received quotes from. The work itself was done within a week of when I scheduled, again very accommodating. The stairs had fairly thick layers of paint and they managed to clean it off very well. When I reviewed the work, it looked great! There were two corners he'd had trouble getting into, but he took care of them without trouble with a different tool. They let the first two coats sit for 48 hours and then came back at the time requested (they had a slight delay, but called to let me know) and took care of the final coat quickly. We paid 50% up front and 50% at the end. We'd forgotten to get a receipt, but asked if they could send us one. It came in the mail within two days. They even called later to confirm that we were happy with the job. Will definitely hire again!

Dong came, gave an estimate that was similar to others we rec'd. He explained what he would do, the time it would take and a date for when he could start. I called back a day later to confirm the work and was told that they had double-booked. They went out of their way to reschedule (a start date sooner than the original) which meant 2 days 1 week and 2 the next. The floors look great with a beautiful satin finish. There were only 2 small problems which were dealt with quickly. They left their trash, but came same night to collect it after I called and the floor of a small closet wasn't finished, but they returned within a day to complete the work. We were really happy with their work and pleased with how quickly and pleasantly they responded to our concerns.

Good-Dong clearly knows his floors. It is a family business and his sister answers the phone, he and his brother run the work crews. The work they do is very good and very affordable. Phone calls were polite and professional and our floors look great, including the parquet floor with inlay, which I was concerned about as it requires a different technique to refinish. Bad-Dong was an hour late to the estimate, which he apologized for and gave a slight discount for. Once is a mistake, but on the day he was to begin work he arrived alone and said his crew called in sick and he wasn't feeling well and would need to start the next day. Unfortunately this meant that we had to move into the house with the floors not quite dry, a fact that cost us a few scuffed patches. I am very pleased with the outcome and feel I got MORE than I paid for, I wish they would have communicated delays earlier so we could have planned better. I would hire them again, but I would build in a few days just in case.

I found them to be very responsive. The estimator was on time, and fit us into his schedule very quickly. I was pleased with their work overall, although they did not replace the radiator covers which they removed. Other than that, the floors look beautiful, and they left the house in good condition. They were also willing to throw in a few extras, like re-sanding a large wood chopping board!

L & S was very professional. They were able to meet our time schedule. They performed the work requested and made follow up calls to ensure the floors were completed to our satisfaction.

They were very prompt, and knowledgeable. The floors looked nice afterward, and they fixed many nail holes, etc. My only complaint is that they left three large bags of garbage in our yard, which we later had to call to have them pick up. They did so promptly, however.

I WAS EXTREMELY SATISFIED WITH L&S FLOORING SERVICES. THE FLOORS LOOKED ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL WHEN THEY WERE DONE. THEY LOOKED BRAND NEW. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE WHO WANTS TO RE-FINISH OLD HARDWOOD FLOORS.
