Description of Work: This unfortunately was a return trip I believe they did free because the first man they sent did not do a good job. So they had to come twice. the first visit the guy was also trying to get me to use him after that as a paid consultant for $135 an hour. Geek choice is no bargain. I am very happy with Geek squad I use though Best Buy. Think I pay them $100 all year for all tech support for up to three computers. And if they do have to come to your house it's $50. The reason I am giving them a B is for my whole experience with them. The first appointment, someone made one who answered the phone didn't tell the boss and thus no one came. Then I had the first guy who gave bad experience. The last visit went okay. But it should not have taken three tries and they are no financial bargain.

Description of Work: They came to my home and updated my 11 yr old and 14 yr old sons laptop and updated my desktop. He was very punctual and informative. I would definately use their service again.

Description of Work: Samuel Gray arrived on time. I wanted to be able to use a port that wasn't opening, although the computer said it was working okay. He was able to open with a paper clip, but it still would not work. He told me what to purchase and it worked out great. I wanted my yahoo site to open up quicker when I first turned my computer on. Since I had already turned on computer it came up pretty quick when he opened it, and so he wasn't any help in that regard. My computer is an older Dell and he wasn't able to do some things I requested. I didn't need much. I had already defagged in order to try to speed things up. He did remove ASK for me as I had requested. I did not use him for more than 30 minutes. A very nice young man.

Description of Work: My computer was running slow; it did run a little faster after. Also had an issue with the printer, which he fixed. He called to let me know he was running a little late with the previous customer.

Out of both discounted computer services I used, both were good. I don't remember how much or when, but I was satisfied. My biggest reason for filling this out is so that I'll stop getting emails asking me to fill out the form.

I did a review shortly after the service call. I wouldn't use this service again because I found someone near home who is very good.

Description of Work: The tech appeared reasonably promptly, but was insufficiently knowledgeable to identify the source of the problem, After nearly 3 hours and after repeated calls to his home base he accomplished literally nothing. This was sometime ago, probably in 2013, but you have the dates since I responded to your "great deal" ad and prep;aid for the services, as I recall "a two for one" deal where the customer pays FOR ONE HOUR AND RECEIVEs TWO OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT. After he accomplished nothing he had the temerity to asked me for additional payment, for the extra time he took to accompsh nothing. The problem was not rfesolved. Description of Work: Serviceman arrived approximately on schedule. He was knowledgable and professional. Got our five computer network set up within an hour. Very efficient and neat. Would use this service again if needed.
