Description of Work: He did not explain what he was doing and he was in a rush. I was not happy when he left because I felt nothing was explained. I bought the "diamond plan", but I am sorry I did. I even called them to get info on the plan. They offer it monthly and I bought a year's membership, which I feel now was a big mistake. I soon got info that terms could be changed at anytime. Can you offer any help? My questions were not really answered. 'As a professional, I take short cuts to save time....' I paid for a year's membership so I have to use them again. I'd like to know how I sign up for my free backup??? I don' like how business was done .

Description of Work: Purchased a "deal" from Angie's list. Day Star was prompt and professional with their response. They could not get to my job for 2 weeks and suggested a I get a refund if I need the work done sooner.

Description of Work: Fixed backup program that had stopped working; updated browser; set up file sharing between laptop and desktop. I've used Geek Squad in home service 3 times and all three visits were excellent. The in store service is not nearly as good. My recent experience with in store was infuriating; they have terrible internal/external communications.

Description of Work: The tech came out to rid our PC of malware. He cleaned it up, revised our security, checked and advised about our backup, checked a laptop etc. Knowledgeable, competent, personable

Installed programs that I can run on my own in the future, he was a very nice fellow, but we paid dearly while he sat and waited for the scanning, etc. to complete its run time. I could see the dollars adding up as time whiled away. Probably would take the Laptop to a local place; let them keep it a week, and pay about $125.
