Description of Work: Prehaps the worst experience I've ever had with any professional entering my home.We had recently moved. We are both Tech unsavvy. We set up this appointment for 9:00 A.M. . We we're advised he was running late being held up by a prior job. He showed up about an hour late. As we were both doing nothing this didn't matter much. We needed our computers connected wirelessly to our 4 in 1 machine. We needed our computers cleaned out of viruses. | | From the start the specialist was somewhat oddly behaved. Seemed a bit self absorbed which we just attributed to a certain geekiness. We both have a high tolerance for lots of behaviors. Bottom line.. he couldn't get the printer started after an initial success in starting. The fax was not connected. My computer was clened...it seems to be working unreliably. When I asked him why the printer would not work he advised he didn't know. |By this time some 5 hours had passed. At $25 per 15 minutes it occurred to me I could have bought a new computer with the bill I was facing. | Earlier in the day he advised he would need to go to UPS at some point. |At 4 P.M. he got up, left the house without a word, and after an hour I called the company requesting that he not come back. Both of us here were a bit concerned, given his somewhat odd behavior and the manner of his exit, about his coimng back. To the company's credit, when I explained what happened by phone they instantanously cancelled any fees. Initially we set up another appointment which I cancelled a couple of days later.I simply did not want to risk a repeat performance.

They had come out and worked on the computer for a while and then left. The same things were still going on with the computer, so I called them back. They sent out a 2nd man to look at it and he fixed it so that it was working properly. They did not charge me for the first visit. Both men showed up on time and the second man was noticeably knowledgeable about computers. The price was a bit much, although I had called several places and Computer Geeks were no more expensive than the other companies.
Description of Work: I was having problems with my desktop computer. It was not performing like it should. I do not know exactly what the problem was but they were able to fix it.

We were so pleased with this company. My son was so worried he would not be able to get the information he needed off of his computer and here they managed to get everything off for him. They kind of saved the day because we had important family information and financial information stored on this particular computer as well so we were very appreciative of them helping us out so much. To have computer work or repairs done is not cheap we learned, but it was worth the money we paid them because it would have taken us hours or probably more like weeks to try and put all of that information in our new computer all over again.
Description of Work: My son's computer totally stopped working. We took it into these guys because the thing was dead but my son had a bunch of information stored on this computer he needed to get off of it in order to put it on his new one. This company got the information he needed so that he could transfer it on to the new computer we bought for him. I think they worked on it for three or four hours.

I called at one o'clock in the afternoon, and they said a technician would be there by five o'clock. When he was late for the appointment, the company called and explained that he would be delayed and would arrive by six o'clock. He worked very quickly and efficiently.
Description of Work: John fixed a problem I was having with my printer and installed DSL. He was very quick, and, obviously knew what he was doing.

After he left I shut the computers and the next morning, when starting them, none of them connected, either desk top, or my two lap tops. I called the Company and was told "We do not guarantee our work", and that the normal rate of $24 per 15 minutes would apply to Netto coming back to finish the job. The company refused to have anyone come out to put it back to where it was when Netto left. I refused to pay any more, and went elsewhere. A very nice technician with unacceptable office support. End result, my computers did not work.
Description of Work: John Netto arrived a half hour late. However he was friendly, accomplished and worked hard on my computer network connections for 4 hours. After about 2 1/2 he got on the phone for telephone instructions from another techie at his company. When I complained about his inability to solve the problem he assured me he would cut the price, and charged me for 2 hours at $96 plus the $50 basic charge. The computers all seemed to work, and when he left I shut them down and went to bed. The next morning when I started them up none of them worked.

The trouble starts with the people handling the incoming calls. They are not computer savvy, so your description of the problem or job does not get communicated and assigned to the proper technician. The wrong technician comes to your site, and isn't skilled enough to resolve the problem. I highly recommend that you NOT use this company.
Description of Work: We moved our physical office, and switched from Verizon DSL to Comcast. We needed someone to get our network up and running again, configure the new devices, and get everything communicating with together.

THEY CAME OUT THE NEXT DAY AND GOT MY COMPUTER UP AND RUNNING AND I FORTUNATELY DIDN'T LOSE ANY DATA. I FREAKED WHEN MY COMPUTER CRASHED. SYMANTEC WAS NO HELP AT ALL, AND THESE GUYS WERE VERY PATIENT WITH MY LACK OF COMPUTER EXPERTISE.
