Geek Choice Nationwide Remote & In Home Service

He gave me and Angie's List discount. Everything is now working fine.

I purchased a Big Deal coupon for Geek Choice. The person came out and was able to do exactly what we needed done. I'm satisfied with the outcome. The price was fair. He came on time and did the job quickly.

Michael arrived right on time and is extremely polite and friendly. I replaced my old PC with a new iMac and needed help in getting all of my personal information removed from it. He took the time to find out exactly what I wanted accomplished and asked good questions to confirm he understood my goals. We decided to remove the PC hard drive to ensure I had access to any historical files I might need in the future. Michael checked my iMac and ran a disk analysis to see if there were any files in need of repair. He also provided recommendations for backing up picture & music files. i feel very confident both of my machines are all set and would recommend Michael and the Geek Choice to anyone in need of help with their computer.

It was great. The guy that came was really good. He was able to take care of an email message that I just couldn't delete because it was corrupt. He introduced me to Google Chrome and set it up on my computer which I'm happy he did. He just went through and changed some setting. He didn't just fly ahead and do it. He checked with me first and discussed what all it would do and I was really happy. The guy knew what he was doing and was knowledgeable. I've dealt with people in the past where they think they know what they're doing and they necessarily don't or it's a territory where they don't have the experience. This guy was well rounded and was fine.

Extremely thoughtful and patient, stuck with the problem. Resolved the problem. Courteous and prompt. Came to the house on time, very punctual. Nice guys.

They never performed the service per my decision, as they would not honor the coupon after it expired, and they wanted to charge me an additional $75. This would have given me no price break so I declined the service.

They were very good. He could not resolve the issue but he really tried. He was able to give me an external thing to use to get the sound back.

The work did not work well at all. I had to go somewhere else. They made it worse. The antivirus they put on made it slower. They were there on time.

They took the Angie's List coupon that they offerred.

The computer tune up went fine. They came to my house and he was very polite and professional. I would use them again.

He did a good job. I had a couple of concerns and he was address both. He gave me good advice and he was thorough. When he couldn't figure something out, he had someone to call to help him figure it out. He did a good job.

Arrived over an hour late, but didn't rush and seemed to be thorough.

Michael was punctual, professional. He informed me above and beyond my expectations and taught me a lot about my computer. He was able to address everyone of my concerns and more. I am more than satisfied with the service.

They were fantastic. They were flexible in terms of on how they honored the offer; it was a week late with the time line. The Big Deal that I had bought expired and they still they honored the offer anyway. I got an appointment time very easily; they were flexible in terms of offering me a time that works for me and the guy they sent was extremely competent, friendly and professional. He was just perfect.

When I called Geek Choice I told them I was looking to wirelessly connect my printer to my HP laptop and Apple iPad. The customer service person was unsure if the iPad could be connected but said that the technician will determine that. The technician arrived and quickly stated that the iPad could not be connected given the type of printer. No problem as we were warned. The tech took a long time to finally get the laptop and printer connected. So long that his visit exceeded an hour and he had to charge me for a second hour. Although I had another laptop similarly connected by Geek Choice about six months ago and that took less than an hour, he did perform an update of my iPad as well. Less than a week later, the printer was not picking up the laptop print instructions. I called Geek Choice and told them and they sent the same tech back out that day. He got the printer working again and then said he had to charge me for the time. I objected on the grounds that the initial work was faulty. He spoke with his supervisor and they agreed to waive any billing.

I bought their Big Deal Coupon which was $75 for one hour of computer repair and service. It went very well. He showed up pretty quickly. He was a very nice guy and he knew what he was doing. My wife and I are programmers and he certainly knew the inner workings of the PC. Without a doubt I will use him again in the future.

Overall, the experience was very positive, and I wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

The technician called to verify we would home, and then arrived as scheduled. We described the problems we were having, and he then got right to work. He described what he was doing as he worked on the computers, and finished on a timely basis. We tested them and he left.

When we called for an appt, we received a day and time within 48 hours. The tech arrived on time, despite driving approximately 50 miles to get here. As I said, he provided quite a bit of information and assistance, and was quite personable. The appt did go over the time allotted so we did have to pay more than the initial fee, but the tech told us at the time and gave us the choice of continuing or stopping.

It went weel. GC honored my coupon from Angie's List even thought I was past my date. The time went a bit over and I just had to pay a small amount. I had a lot of questions answered or solved so I am happy.

I contacted them saying that I had arranged for their services through a deal on Angie's List. I was given an appointment promptly. The representative showed up on time and performed his job very well, explaining each step on the way.

I called and scheduled an appointment. On the day of the appointment, the technician (Michael) showed up on time and was very professional. He was able to connect the Xbox to the tv and showed me how to navigate the system so I could play with my son and utilize the parental control features. I was a bit disappointed though in the length of time it took to install the Xbox. It took the entire hour of the discounted rate. Mike said the install of the Xbox was easy but a bit time consuming because of all the setup steps and security verifications. We then moved to the desktop computer to upgrade the memory. He completed that and gave the computer a complete diagnostic check. He removed several viruses and also downloaded some useful anti-virus software. This part of the service also took an hour. Total cost was $210 including the discounted first hour. The second hour was $135. This is the second time I have used Geek Choice. Overall I find the technicians to be very professional and knowledgeable. I think the price could be a bit cheaper but they are comparable with other computer service companies that I have used.
