Michael Holmes, senior technician arrived promptly and was able to explain to my understanding the details of the problem and how I can prevent them in the future. He was generous in providing information on how I can get the best out of my current computer and made some recommendations for options for future purchase of devices. This was a very good "investment" of my time and money!

There's a $150 initial charge for an on-site visit, but discounts are available via local newspapers, and discount programs such as Groupon, Angie's List and others. The technician checked my computer, repaired the problems I had identified, and did a number of tech-y things to make the computer run more quickly and efficiently. I was very pleased with these services.

Everything went well. Scheduling was fine and one technician came out to my home to do the work. The one downside was he was a little late arriving for the appointment. He was very knowledgeable and excellent to work with. He did a thorough job.

Matt from Geek's Choice was EXCELLENT! He was very knowledgable about what I needed. The best part was his level of patience and understanding since I am not a compute whizz like he is. I would definitely use Geek's Choice again.

He was patient, friendly and efficient. I wasn't looking at the clock so I did not know that I was being charged after the hour was up. I was charged an additional $45 for an extra half hour. I think I should have been told when the hour was up and given the option to continue at the regular price or finish the session

The tech was prompt, friendly, and he 'knew his stuff'. Unfortunately, my iMAC is too old to upgrade and/or to handle newer programs. He helped me understand what I needed and I was able to buy a new MAC easily and quickly without having to spend hours in the store. After the holidays, I will use Geek Choice again to help me transfer stuff from my old to my new computer.

The technician arrived on time and was pleasant. When he started to do the job he was hired for he had to research it online to figure how to do it. This took considerable time and he ran well over the one hour I bought for $75. It took a total of 2 hours and 15 minutes because he did not know his job! It cost me an additional $157.50 for him to learn what to do. He stated that he took this assignment to learn about the Apple time capsule. So he learned how to connect it on my time and money! If he knew how to do it before coming to my home it would have taken only the hour I purchased as a Angie's List Deal. I gave Geek Choice the required information as to what I needed done so they would be prepared to get it done efficiently. This did not happen! Very disappointed!

Installed and set-up new PC. Transferred files, installed a few programs, installed hardware and problem-solved. Technician (Gary Wells) was outstanding - helpful, courteous, professional, extremely knowledgeable, and willing to address and solve problems as they arose.

When first contacted did not get a response for over two weeks requiring me to contact Angie's help line. Received phone number of Geek and had to contact them directly at which point they where very punctual and showed up when rescheduled. disappointed that it took multiple visits to resolve problem but at least it has been resolved. would i use them again? not sure.

Computer had virus, wouldn't download anything, running slow. All issues were resolved quickly and in a professional manner.

Michael Michael Holmes was the most professional and friendly computer geek that I have ever met! This is coming from a former geek myself for many years and after the work was finished, he offered me some valuable suggestions about my new PC purchase. It was an exceptional visit, all the work I needed was done and I got an additional consultation about my PC and what to get for the next one. I can't say enough how great this service was and how much knowledge I received from this great PC tech. person! It went very well. I called and left a message. Received a call back in a timely manner and received an appointment very quickly. The day of the appointment I received a call because the tech was able to come earlier than our scheduled time. It worked out perfectly. He came, was very friendly and informative. He was finished quickly and showed me how he cleaned things up and the computers run much better.

It went very well. I didn't use the first one. I didn't have any need for one. It turned out that I bought a new computer. So I sold the first one to a friend of mine. I thought I was going to use it because my computer was doing funny things and then it just died. So I got a new one instead. So I didn't use it. It was coming to the end of the period and my new computer was working well. So I just sold it to somebody else because I didn't want to lose the $75. I used the second one. There were additional charges beyond the big deal amount. I had to pay another $30. If they have another deal I'm considering buying it because I'm having another issue right now. They were very good. The guy that came over was terrific.

Matt was professional and enthusiastic. It is great to find someone who is able and willing to help fill in the voids in my understanding. I made a list of questions and we went down the list one by one. Matt made suggestions as we went along that broadened my understanding. I have a better sense how to make the computer do what I want rather than vice versa. I know what to do if the computer won't start, how to print a screen view, to schedule regular virus protection scans and avoid setting up 2 types of scans that cancel each other out. I now know that the computer memory is big enough to handle whatever task comes up. I'm already starting a list of questions for the next time.

They put on some more soft ware....did not clean or speed up computer. Nice guy....but took too long for what he did.

Technician solved the problems I reported: malfunctioning mouse (cleaned so that it works very well) and locating an icon lost from the desktop. He was friendly and courteous. Main reason for B rather than A was punctuality -- he arrived 3 hours after the agreed-upon range of times!

They tried to migrate information from one of my Mac computers to another one whose hard drive I had mistakenly erased. First they didn't have the correct cable and had to order it and come another day. The came back and transferred some of my stuff, but only about 15%. I did it myself a couple of weeks afterwards and it didn't cost me a cent. Very nice people, though.

The person who came out had good knowledge of the subject that was involved.

Geek choice contracted out the service so it wasn't actually one of thier employees that did the service. Marshall came on time and was very professional. He cleaned my computer, freed up storage space, and installed new spyware. He explained how everything worked and gave me updates as he went along. Geek choice was easy to work with.

He was a very nice young man and showed up on time. He was able to address and fix the issues that I was having.
