+ -1 moresee above. I do not mind paying for things but I am beginning to feel that these deals are just an open door for these contractors to charge more
Description of Work: He came and first said the offer only included oiling the garage door. When I showed him the offer he then agreed to do the work. He then informed me that the springs were worn out, although they seemed fine. He told me not to use the door which of course made me nervous. I didn't want to take a chance. He told me it would be $89 for each spring and $120 for the labor. I was able to talk him down to $100 for the labor since he was already there. The whole thing cost me $282 and the $39 I initially paid. When I called around to other garage door installers the average price for this work was $175. I feel I was taken because I was naive
