Description of Work: I had an appointment to see carpet samples and have rooms measured for a carpet. The day of the appointment (about an hour before the appointment) I received a call saying he would be late and wouldn't be able to get to me till much later in the day. I informed the employee that I would not be available later in the day to which he stated that he HAD to keep his other AM appointment because he had to re-schedule the other appointment once already, which implied to me that this was common practice for this company. The company appears to over book their sales team which leads to attempts to re-book appointments. I did not schedule another appointment.

Description of Work: I purchased a carpet with a pattern. It was installed crooked. Empire refuses to take responsibility for the poor installation and defers to the independent contractor that they employ. The independent contractor does not return calls. This process is still on going and it has been 3 weeks. I chose Empire for the convienence of next day installation. I could have paid marginally more with a local company and within 10 days the process would have been over.
