I called several contractors and determined it is everdently there busy season before winter and they cannot be bothered to fix a minor roof leak when they can install a whole roof for several thousand dollars. Duffy was one of the few who stated they would help. Although not cheap, they did the job in a timely manner and very professionally. What's it worth to keep water from leaking from a newly painted ceiling into your prized bedroom? Priceless! Thanks Mr. Duffy and Family.

My insurance agent actually recommended them, he had used them himself. They rubberized my flat top roof. They were so good when I did my remodel on my house and they took the chimneys out and finished the roof and covered the holes where the chimneys were. They were excellent both times.

Well I think it was overpriced but we had difficulty finding a roofing company who would come to renail 2 shingles and clean gutters. Most companys stated if I used a gutter cleaner it would be cheaper but I could find not a single company who would come to replace only the 2 shingles. I was disappointed that the back gutter was still a mess and he did not leave equipment the way he found it.

They were very nice. They came back when something was still leaking. I've had a very good experience. They did work for me in the past and I've been very pleased.

They came out promptly and were in and out quickly. They also gave us an option to pay in cash at a discounted price, which was appreciated.

They were great! My job was small and I was expecting to go to the back of the queue for quality and timeliness -- but no. Phil did the estimate on a Saturday morning (arriving punctually) and on Monday morning the job was done. He was extremely pleasant to work with. In addition, they went the extra mile -- matched the paint on the gutter, and repaired a nearby downspout while they were at it.

They were very quick, quiet and professional. They even took care not to damage any of the plants in the flowerbed. Joe carefully explained what needed to be done.

Phil came in and assessed the situation, identified some areas of concerns and offered solutions on how to fix. The alternative was putting in an expensive waterproofing system which wasn't attractive to me at all. I appreciated that the style wasn't pushy, and Phil was very consultative in his approach. Unlike many contractors, I appreciated that he came out to inspect, provide an estimate, do the work and come to inspect the work upon completion.

The gutters look very good on the house. Phil was informative and friendly, giving a estimate that was honored at the end of the job. His crew was professional and hard-working. Towards the end of the work when it was discovered that one necessary downspout had not yet been installed, the crew put one up immediately still maintaining the accommodating and cooperative attitude that they had demonstrated throughout the job. The work was completed in one day and AHEAD of schedule!

Phil came out to do the estimate, and was able to provide a price on the spot. He followed up with a detailed quote. The weather has been terrible for roofing (constant rain), so while he only committed to finishing by mid July he kept saying "if the weather gives us a chance. Sure enough, within a couple of days I pulled up to the house to see two trucks worth of guys working in between the rain showers. The installation looks great, and it seems to be taking water away from the house. Early, on budget, and good work.

He came out and did a great job. He also charged me 100.00 dollars less than the last estimate and did more work than the original quote.

Joe returned my call promptly and informed me that I was outside his service area. I appreciated his call.

Duffy Roofing does excellent work. They work very quickly. They are very professional, and personable. They gave me a very detailed description of what they were going to do, and then they did it.

The job was completed in two days. Phil Busswell, the sales rep, was courteous and professional. He took the time to answer all my questions/concerns and walked me through what the job would entail. The project went like clockwork. The crew showed up on time, finished the job on time and left no traces ? other than a top notch new roof! Plus, when the crew was up on another roof of my house and noticed that my chimney needed flashing around it, they did this for me at no additional expense.

Great. Phil is prompt at returning calls and totally professional in every way. He spent a great deal of time trying to help us sort out the ice dam problems we were having without asking us to spend an additional penny. The gutter work performed seems effective as we no longer have water running straight down our house during storms. The garage replacement gutter looks great and does the job. We will call Duffy again when the time comes to replace our roof--which hopefully won't be too soon!

Very good experience: workers were available when promised, workers were curteous and professional in their completion of the work, and did an excellent job cleaning up when the work was completed. I appreciated Duffy Roofing's follow up call after completion of the work to check if we were satisfied and to perform a final inspection of the work, with client present.

They were on time for the estimate and completed the repair earlier than expected. The work performed was top quality, and they went above and beyond by painting the boards where paint had peeled. The job site was cleaned up after they were through. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again or make a recommendation to a friend.

Phil showed up to give us an estimate to repair and replace the slates with the caveat that they might discover more damage as they worked. We understood with a 120 y.o. roof that things might go badly. We also knew that, because it seemed to be a small job, that they would fit us in between bigger jobs and the weather, o we weren't too surprised when they showed up on morning precisely at 8AM and started to work. They were done within five hours and we were delighted to find out that our old roof would last another ten years or so. Phil provided us with verbal estimates for work we might need in the future, also with a replacement cost estimate so we could keep that in mind when planning future renovations. He was personable and forthcoming. The crew was efficient, friendly and fast!

I contacted Duffy twice, once in July when we first started gathering quotes and again in January when we were ready to get the work done. Calls were returned promptly and Phil came out quickly to give us a quote. He speaks very fast and during his first visit (when we were considering a partial roof replacement), I sometimes had a hard time following what he was recommending. I was never able to get a quote from Phil in July. After I didn't get a quote after his first visit, I e-mailed to ask for it, he replied that prices were changing and he'd get a quote to me in a week, but I never got it. He apologized for that when I spoke with him again in January. In January, he gave us a written quote on the spot. I feel Duffy is an established company that would have done a good job and would still be around to honor their 10-year warranty, but In the end, we chose to go with a slightly higher quote that included better materials.

Great from initial meeting and estimate, through a waiting period (bad weather this winter) and then very efficient and professional work for the days they were here. Clean-up was thorough. The roof looks fantastic. Joe chose the shingle style on the contract, and not really knowing, we shrugged and went along with it. He picked the right style for the house-- it really looks great. He even suggested the soffit vents on the dormer, and had them installed, no extra charge. The next day I thought his crew might have done some accidental damage to some molding up high, sent him photos, and he was out with carpenters the next morning. Even though it turns out his people hadn't caused the damage, he had his carpenters fix it free of charge, and they also fixed some other unrelated damage. All through the process, Joe was responsive to phone and email, and a pleasure to do business with.

It was excellent. They did an exceptionally good job of cleaning up afterwards. I came back to the house when the job was done, and the clean up was just spotless. In addition, the job was top quality. I recommend them without reservation.

Our wonderful house is quite quirky to deal with because of its age and a design that includes no right angles. We are very particular about who works on it and helps us solve its problems. We have no reservations about recommending Duffy Roofing and Phil Buswell, their completely available and knowledgeable representative. It is a pleasure to work with people who see problem- solving as a challenge rather than a bother and who give you a phone # that they actually answer.
