They came right away and gave me quick response. They explained everything where the leak was coming from. I don’t know much about roofing but they did a very good job and I saw the evidenced of their work. I liked their services and I would use them again in the future.

Phil was great to work with. He was prompt for the assessment, gave me an estimate on the spot and more importantly, he was able to schedule us in a couple of days later. Phil was a pleasure to deal with. He answered all of my questions and was great in explaining things to me in layman's language. They were also very considerate and notified my neighbors of the work that needed to be done. They were done in one afternoon. I will definitely be hiring them again. The price was also very reasonable.

All I can say is don?t bother researching other roofers. Hire Duffy Roofing! Seriously. The entire experience from start to finish was superb. I am a very particular individual and have worked with a variety of contractors, from quite good to not so good. Well, Phil and his crew were not just quite good they were amazing!! My email request for a quote was responded to by Phil within 24 hours (the only one!). My roof scheduled to be replaced within a week, completely accommodating my schedule. AND the entire roof was replaced all in one day. When Phil told me of the schedule my initial reaction was ?Ok, I?ll believe it when I see it!? When I got home at the end of the day they were actually finishing; even my neighbor who witnessed the project commented that "I sure do know how to pick the good ones!" They left the entire place in immaculate order and, yes, I checked for any loose ends around my entire property. Nothing! The roof came out beautifully. Duffy also repointed one chimney and took down another to the roof line. Whereas several contractors told me I had to take down the chimney (that I wanted repaired) Phil insisted that I?d be fine simply repointing it. Again, it took them less than a day to make the chimney look sturdy (i.e. it now gives me peace of mind). I also had them replace all of my shutters. At the time of the roof being replaced the shutters were not yet in but Phil told me not to worry and that they?d replace them as soon as they arrived. As everyone knows, we had a ton of rain in May and I assumed that Phil and his guys would be behind so I told them not to rush. Nevertheless, they did. Even better is I had actually ordered a wrong size for one of the windows. Again, Phil said not to worry and to order the correct size and they'd replace it when it came in. And, of course, they did. All along I was thinking "Is this real? Where's the extra $$?" But never did they charge me extra. If anything they consistently went the extra mile to make sure that I was happy. Needless to say, I'm VERY HAPPY. If only all contractors were like Duffy Roofing. Professional and true craftsmen. Hire them! You?ll be more than happy.

They did a very good job and we would definitely use them again. I thought that they were professional and did a good job at cleaning up after the job.

The job went extremely well. In conversations with our neighbors, they were extremely impressed with the team that arrived to do the work. One of them said that during the day there was a tremendous amount of activity but at the end of the day, they had cleaned up to such a degree that you couldn't tell a work crew had been there earlier in the day. All I have to say is I would hire these guys again in a second. They did everything they said they would. As the job progressed they stayed in contact with me and communicated every step of the way. We are absolutely satisfied with the whole experience!

I am going to go ahead with this project but have not started it yet. The experience was good and we were content with the price. They were quick to get back to us and were on time when they came to do an estimate. I will use them again in the future.

Great Company. Work was done the same day as the quote. Easy to work with, responsive. Several storms later, the roof is holding. We have a lot more repairs to do and we'll use them again.Thanks, Duffy Roofing.

I had frustrating experiences with two roofing companies previously over this same leak. Both companies were wary of even exploring the leak because of the height of the roof. One roofer made me sign a contract before he climbed on the roof but never returned to do the job. The second roofer appeared, stated that he didn't have a ladder tall enough with him and he'd be back later that day. He never returned or called. Phil from Duffy Roofing was professional and attentive from the initial phone call through every step. It was clear that he wanted the work (appreciated the craftsmanship of the house and the opportunity to do a job that wasn't just a basic roof) and that he wanted to insure that the work was of the highest quality and I was fully satisfied.

Everything went extremely well, from dealing with Duffy's point man, Phil, to the thorough cleanup at the end of both days. The highly-professional crew had to work at the edge of a newly-planted flower bed to hoist their materials to the roof and caused virtually no disturbance to the plantings. Top-notch job.

it I'm a bit tardy in providing this review, but am finally doing so. We contacted Phil Duffy, of Duffy Roofing, and used his services during the winter. He was simply fabulous. I contacted three roofers and he was the only one to return my call, and he did so within 24 hrs. I had a small job - fixing a leak in the roof over our bathroom. He set up a date for about a week later to inspect the premises, and then came by promptly, as promised. He diagnosed the problem, and then set up a plan to fix it. The crew came by several weeks later, and fixed it late one afternoon. Phil told us to monitor the leak over the next several months - waiting for a time that it rained, to be sure that it was fixed. Indeed, after several rains, the problem is gone. Throughout the process Phil was extremely responsive, very professional and just a gem to work with. His responses to my phone calls were always in the same day. He was always courteous, responsive and fair. Also, FYI, he is VERY aware of Angies List, and asked us to write a review. So, he is very concerned about service. He also paid strong attention to pricing. I recommend him highly, and he will definitely be at the top of my list for my next roofing repair/replacement.

Other than the work being interrupted by some rain, things went very well.

Phil at Duffy Roofing quickly responded to our request for an estimate to address some leaks in our roof. Other contractors suggested minor repairs that would have been less expensive, but Duffy recommended doing a more extensive roof replacement. We trusted Duffy and agree with the rave reviews here. Phil was very attentive to making sure the neighbors were informed of the work, getting the proper permits for parking. The workers arrived on time and completed the job quickly and efficiently. One of the workers left some marks on our deck and Phil came back to clean the issue and even left us deck stain.

Phil, the company representative got back to me very quickly and we set up an appointment to talk and look at the job. Phil was personable and professional, answering all my questions thoroughly. He gave me two prices, the lower was for putting a new roof on top of the old one. The other, about $3000 more, was for completely removing the old roof and then putting a new roof on. Phil took the time to walk down the street with me to where his company had just completed a roofing job in which they put a new roof up on an old one. The house looked great with the new roof and to my eye, it seemed like a very good job. However, I worried about putting a new roof on an old one, and decided to go with another contracter instead who also gave me a better price.

Good price, very professional, good communication. Highly recommend them.

We had a serious leak in our porch roof which was starting to cause significant damage to our home. The company responded within 24 hours to review the damage, make recommendations for the repairs needed and provide an estimate. Phil, the company's representative was very informative, personable and thorough in his explanation of the work necessary. The workmen showed up on the date scheduled and on time. They were very polite and courteous to deal with and extremely considerate of our property. They did not disturb our flower/shrub beds and left the area immaculate. We were concerned that we would have difficulty finding a company that would be interested in a small job, but Duffy Roofing had no problem with the size of the project whatsoever. The final bill actually was lower than the estimate - which was an unexpected, but appreciated surprise. Phil followed up with us immediately after the project was completed to ensure our satisfaction with the work andhe provided a written warranty for the work performed. We will definitey return to Duffy Roofing for all our future repairs and only wished this company did more than roofing!

This was my first experience using Angie's List for a contractor and Duffy's Roofing was an exceptional start. I was very impressed from the start when I called 3 contractors for the job and they were the first to repond. (Other roofing companies made appts and/or didn't show up until 5 days later). From the very start to the very finish of the job, Duffy's proved themselves to be a leader. A quick response time, is just the beginning. From my first meeting with Phil who came out to do the quote to the deposit and final payment for the job were great. Phil is clearly the best in the business as his quote covered evey detail and he reviewed patiently and professionally all the details with us. We have a roof that had some unusual issues,( some bowing) and the crew looked over every aspect to make sure it was done perfectly. Brett and his crew worked diligently and stripped all the entire roof and 3/4 of it all re-shingled with IKO shingles of our garrison colonial house in 8 hours! There were no blasting radios or shouting, just debris machine cleaning it up as soon as it hit the ground. We would be hard pressed to find even a nail left behind! The dumpster was quickly filled and by noon the follwing day- our poject was done. It looks really great and we're so pleased with our experience, we would give them a A+ if that rating was available on Angie's List. Clearly, Duffy's Roofing earned their stars one roof at a time. If you are looking for the best, make the call to these guys!

We have a house with a complicated roof structure which has had a persistant leak problem in one particular area for years; assorted roofers had attempted to correct it but the problems only worsened over time. We found Duffy's through the List and initiated contact; we had a response inside a week and arranged for an assessment of the situation. Phip Buswell of Duff's duly appeared on schedule, assessed the situation and provided us with a clear and comprehensive statement of the problem and options for dealing with it. In the course of discussing the situation we decided to deal with an equally persistant gutter/downspout problem and our separate garage Work was slightly delayed due previous commitments by Duffy and weather factors but once begun the roofing jobs proper (house and garage) were completed in two days and the gutter/downspout (after another short delay due to weather) completed in half a day. Our house was draped for the stripping portion of the roofing project to avoid damage from debris and because it is in close proximity to others Duffy's took great care in covering our neighbors' shrubs and lawns to avoid damage to them as well; Duffy's throroughly cleaned up daily. Throughout the project communications and coordination were absolutely outstanding. All of Duffy's people worked like beavers and showed great expertise and professionalism throughout the project.

I discovered Duffy Roofing through Angie?s List. The Duffy crew was prompt, courteous, professional, and very knowledgeable. Our initial plan was to replace all of our gutters, but Phil Buswell, the supervisor who handled our job suggested scraping and repainting our front gutter rather than replacing it since it was in decent shape. This saved us money! They arrived at 7:45am to start the work and spent the first day replacing our gutters (except for the front one). They returned at 7:45am the following morning, patched our roof and chimney, and wrapped up by early afternoon. They did a good clean up job. We are very pleased with their work and plan to have them replace our roof when we have the funds. I would recommend them to anyone.

Very prompt and came out and provided me with an estimate. Had to make several calls to find out when work could be done. When finally heard back was told would come out with contract and pick up down payment. As of this date never came out. Had another contractor perform work.

The work was done very professionally over 2 days and the guys left the site cleaned up and presentable each night. They did a wonderful job and the roof looks fabulous. Phil was very cooperative and seemed to monitor things quite closely. A flood light was broken during the course of the job and he made sure it was replaced before Phil left. The work was done for not much more than an estimate Phil gave me two years ago.

From the first time I made the phone call, I received a call back within 15 minutes. They scheduled an estimate and arrived promptly. They went over the materials to be used and the time within which the service was scheduled. They kept everyone well informed. Overall, it was an outstanding experience. After they completed the work they called back to make sure everything was okay and advised for us to call them if there were any issues that surfaced moving forward and they would come back as soon as possible. They were hard working people and we were very pleased.
