Denis Keane managed the renovation of our South Boston brownstone apartment bathroom and bedroom. As a local, he understood the challenges of dealing with older homes and his experience and creative suggestions were invaluable to the renovation. Denis finished the job to our complete satisfaction and within the original budget. He was an excellent communicator and partner throughout the project, making sure each component was done exact the way we wanted. I would highly recommend Denis to anyone looking for a professional contractor and wants a seamless, painless renovation project.

Denis did an outstanding job on our deck! Not only has it upped the value of our home, it significantly added to our overall living space. It’s like another whole living and dining room in the summer!

DK Remodeling is an exceptional contractor and I have hired that contractor for several jobs including a kitchen, 2 decks, new walls in my living room, etc. Denis is such a nice guy to work with and he is so capable and proficient in his work. When I asked about making a balcony upstairs off the second floor of my house, he suggested a deck instead and it is just so much better! I had spiral stairs installed from my cellar to my attic by an iron company and Denis suggested doing shiplap behind the stairs and it just looks beautiful. He also suggested bamboo for my kitchen floor and it also looks great. DK remodeling also did really nice crown molding in my kitchen and living room. They worked with me on different price point options when I was getting the work done. Also worked well with other contractors like the plumber and electrician when they had to work around each other. Denis always found an excellent solution to any concerns I raised whether it was about the cost or the materials involved in a job. He is very honest, reliable and professional. I am so grateful for all the work he did at my house. I absolutely recommend DK Remodeling. I am sorry I do not remember the cost of the work done but I was very happy with it.

Denis Keane, owner and operator of DK Remodeling, shined from the very start. Denis always answered our calls or immediately texted back if he couldn't take the call. He did what he said he would do, and was fair and honest. After months of planning and interviewing contractors for our kitchen remodel/upgrade, Denis came through with a clean, clear quote that he held firmly to, barring any obvious major setbacks (dry rot, asbestos, knob and tube, etc.). One example of his honesty and fairness was with a window that was installed. Denis had figured in a standard replacement window for our kitchen, when we had envisioned a casement style - which was more expensive. When we discovered that we had different plans, we identified the new model of window, and Denis split the difference with us because that window had been on sale a week earlier and he missed the better pricing. He was even flexible on a payment schedule, allowing us to create a payment schedule that worked well for both parties. Denis was personally on the job every day and operated with his trusted plumber and electrician. Aside from the specialty jobs (refinishing floors, plastering walls, etc.) Denis did the majority of the work himself. He took care to keep the rest of the house clean and tidy and the project progressed. Denis' quality of work was excellent. He worked hard to make sure we were satisfied with the job. As the job came to a close, Denis was open to frequent communication via a punch list and the famous 'blue painters tape' to point out areas that needed any final touches. This brought the project to a close much faster and left us very satisfied with his work.

It went great. Denis was kind enough to accomodate my work schedule and meet after work at my property to give an estimate of some work that needed to be done such as exterior sideing, finish work in the basement, etc. Denis provided a list of different options and costs for the work and even was able to point out a trouble wet spot in the basement that my inspector missed. The only reason why I didn't choose Denis to do work was that he advised me that my needs were mostly masonry in nature and he specialized in interior remodeling and carpentry and that it wasn't the best fit. When I need that kind of work to be done in the future you can be assured that I'll give Denis a call.

Dennis was fantastic and so efficient. He showed up on time, is very respectful and personable, worked non-stop and finished the project beautifully early.

Fantastic. All we did was text him photos of the original door and opening, identify the door and door hardware that we wanted on the Home Depot website and Denis went an bought everything and installed it in one day. The door looks great, like it's always been there and the price was quite reasonable. Denis is great to work with, very knowledgeable, practical, friendly and professional.
