Got a 20 yd. roll off from Discount Disposal before joining Angies list. Delivered the next day and put in driveway no problem. Called on 1/11/14 to pick it up and was told would be in next two days. Today is 2/3/14 and still not picked up. Have called almost daily and have been given every excuse in the book as to why it hasn't been picked up and promises that it would be picked up the next day. Do not use this company unless you want an over-sized planter in your driveway for months.

We have been renovating our home project-by-project since 2010 - acting as the General Contractor ourselves. I have used many different subcontractors and service providers ? some great, some not so great. NEVER HAVE I ENCOUNTERED A BUSINESS AS HORRIBLE AS DISCOUNT DISPOSAL! I called them as our latest project had the opportunity to start a week ahead of time and their website clearly states ?same day service?. Discount Disposal charged my credit card within 10 minutes of taking the order and promised the container delivery for the next day?. I waited? no dumpster until 5 days later! I called each day and each day was given a different excuse, but never an apology. After the 4-week period was up I called the automated pick-up line and requested removal as the container was full. After 2 weeks of this dilapidated dumpster sitting in my driveway I started to call every few days as it was now holding up the project (we needed an empty dumpster in its place) ? each time I was promised a pick-up and each time no one showed up. Every time I called I got yet ANOTHER excuse ? the truck broke down, it snowed, the driver had a family emergency, the truck is stuck in traffic, the dog ate the route list ? and of course, NO apology. WORST customer service I have ever encountered. After 7 weeks I reported the abandoned dumpster to my local board of health who promptly contacted Discount Disposal ? they were given until 10:00 AM on a Saturday morning to remove the container from my property (surprise! They missed the deadline). Finally on that Monday I pulled into my driveway and low and behold the dumpster was FINALLY GONE! Then I noticed the LARGE PILE OF CONSTRUCTION DEBRIS IN MY YARD! The container was overloaded ? I had alerted them to this several times ? as during the 7 weeks while this dumpster sat in my driveway we had to put this stuff somewhere. Once I had a reliable confirmation that the dumpster was to be removed, I had a local company deliver an empty container and place it RIGHT NEXT to the Discount Disposal container ? and THE DRIVER CHOSE TO THROW THE DEBRIS (INCLUDING GLASS THAT BROKE ALL OVER MY DRIVEWAY) INTO MY YARD/DRIVEWAY RATHER THAN INTO THE EMPTY DUMPSTER THAT WAS PLACED IN THAT SPOT FOR THAT REASON (AND IN FACT WOULD HAVE BEEN EASIER TO DO). I called Discount Disposal and the woman who answers the phone transfers my call to the driver who proceeds to yell at me and tells me to ?go to f*@king h*ll lady? and slams the phone down. Nice. DO NOT USE DISCOUNT DISPOSAL ? the only thing they are good at is taking your money! I wish that I would have read all of the bad reviews and BBB complaints before I ever picked up the phone and called them!

This has been a seamless operation. We called Paul to have a dumpster delivered and he even delivered a day early. When it was full we called to have it picked up and it was done the same day. We needed another dumpster which was promised the next day and it was delivered first thing in the morning. Excellent service!!

He called them on September 20 to remove the dumpster. After almost a month, and many calls, the dumpster is still there.We have had to pay to extend the town dumpster permit for an extra month. According to their reviews on YELP! my experience is typical. Angie's Listers, beware and avoid at all costs!
