Single-family home in Charlestown, MA. I wanted to hang my flat screen but needed new outlets and an electrician to help mount the TV (my stud finder was indicating electricity on the studs and I wasn't about to mess around with that!). I wanted to put outlets (both power and HDMI) up high so there were no visible wires. I connected with Dave on Angie's List and we set a date for an appointment. Dave was running a little behind on the day of our appointment, and the job turned out to be a little more involved that we had expected, so we needed more time. Rather than forge ahead and risk not finishing (or having to rush), Dave offered to come early Saturday AM and do the whole job then - which worked out great for me. He said 7:30 AM and at 7:20 AM he was at my house unloading his tools. By 7:30 he was started. Dave had several suggestions for how we could most effectively accomplish my goals, and the way we ended up going was a better option than what I originally had in mind. Dave cut into a plasterboard portion of our wall to run the wires. He installed outlets at the base of our wall and up high. The outlet covers that I provided didn't work after installed (they were too close to the back of the TV so we couldn't get the plugs in) but thankfully Dave had another outlet that was recessed that did the trick with a little rework (which was my fault). After completing the wiring, he patched up the wall with an initial pass of plaster. I will sand and paint next weekend... For the job, Dave had everything that you would expect an electrician to have in terms of tools and materials. I provided the custom HDMI outlets and the HDMI cable that I wanted in the wall. He provided everything else. I wouldn't expect him to have anything highly unique - so if you need something specific to your house either order it in advance on Monoprice or let Dave know what you need so he can get it. Total cost was ~$275 and he promptly sent me an invoice via email. He made two stops to my house and was there for 4+ hours and provided most of the materials. I felt the price was very fair. In summary, Dave did a great job at a fair price and was flexible to my schedule. I would highly recommend him and won't use anyone else going forward unless Dave isn't available.

Very pleasant and professional.

David did a great job installing our light fixtures. More importantly, he helped us out with a few side projects (non-electrical) while he was at our apartment. What a guy! Very cordial and willing to help. We're definitely planning on hiring him again for upcoming work.

I'd give him an A+. He's so nice, kind, on time, and thoughtful - he came out and switched off the lights till he could come out and work on them so I wouldn't have a huge electrical bill. Then, even though he was busy, he still found a way to fit me in. He even came at night so he could see what was going on with the lights. His work was excellent.

David is very punctual, responsive and very professional. We found him to be tidy and efficient so we will definitely use him again and refer him to others.

Dave was very cordial, affable and competent. He arrived on time with his toolbag and examined the breaker box in the basement. After he made his adjustments, Dave checked the outlet that had no power prior to his arrival and the outside light on the deck to verify that the problem was solved. He was also very careful and neat, so there was nothing to cleanup after he left. I have already recommended him to several of my friends in East Boston in the event that they need the services of an electrician.

Dave was courteous and professional. He walked me through exactly what was going on and my options to correct the issues. I was so satisfied with his work, I called him back to give me a quote on a larger job that I am considering for the future and was impressed by his pricing on that too.

David is outstanding. He is very punctual and got the job done perfectly. He's someone you could trust and is very knowledgeable. I would definitely hire him again for future tasks.

It went great. David was recommended as a trusted electrician by the contractor who reconfigured my basement. David and the contractor worked beautifully together in making sure their efforts were in sync. There was a lot involved but it went smooth as silk. I feel that this electrician has provided me with a really good value - excellent work at a fair price - left no messes behind and was very personable and professional. That says it all in my book.
