Seth and Dave both arrived at scheduled time. I requested a chimney inspection and cleaning as I just moved into a house and was unsure of what the chimney might look like. Seth and Dave did a thorough inspection and gave me an estimate for work that needs to be done. both guys were great and knowledgeable and were able to answer all my questions i had.

After the job was complete I was paying the main technician inside of my house the laborer made advances toward girlfriend outside. Totally unacceptable.

Their technician (Chuck) and his able assistant arrived in advance of the time we agreed on and went up onto the roof to take pictures of my chimney (cap, pointing, flue,etc) that they showed me, confirming what I could see from the ground. After they cleaned the flue and inspected it for the agreed upon price of $139.50, Chuck explained that they could, after confirming that it would not rain for 24hours, replace my failed cap (concrete), repoint my failing mortar, and waterproof the brick . They charged me $1,000 (1000- 10% =900, plus the cleaning would have been $1,040, but they charged me $1,000 flat. Chuck also explained that the flue liner that was in the chimney was not rated for use by the two 140,000 BTU oil furnaces in the cellar. He estimated, in writing, that to remove the existing flue and replace it with 35 feet of 6" double jacketed flue, the cost would be $3,000 minus the 10% for using Home Advisor (net $2,700). He also noted that if we were to replace one or both of the antiquated boilers with new high efficient units, that perhaps the flue that we have now could suffice..........for a year or two. They were great to work with. They arrived promptly, inspected the chimney before doing work to make sure that they could complete everything safely. Very honest about pricing. Noticed there was some work they could not complete without my plumber fixing something first, so they discounted it from the original quote. Need to call them back to have them do other repairs now that we have corrected the problem they came across.

George and Jamie came to inspect my fireplace because water was coming into the house. They gave me suggestions, no sales pressure, knowledgeable, on time, friendly. I will follow up on their advise to see if it remedies my problem. I would use this company again.

Promised appt time way off partly due to understaffing but they did stay in contact for the most part until arrival, 10am -12original time but arrived after 4pm..inspection didn’t take long but tried to tell me I needed an expensive ($1200) procedure done inside..now I need to pay for a second opinion bc it’s something odd and most likely unnecessary according to other people I spoke to.. not happy about that.. it’s a condo so now trying to get association to inspect, claim is that original construction was not done right over 30 yrs ago but it has been regularly inspected over the yrs and was never diagnosed with a problem.. had caps installed as well, those are fine.. workers were nice but I’m still unsure of the rest.. still up in the air

I get my chimney cleaned and/or inspected every few years. They came in, and did the job I hired them to do, which was clean the chimney. They recommended I consider changing the aluminum liner to my furnace (but they were not pushy about it at all nor did they try to scare me into action like other companies have done in the past). Finally, a reputable Chimney specialist. The price was reasonable, life time warrantee on steel liner, thought it was a good time to make the upgrade, so I went ahead with it. They added sealing a crack in the mortar and sealing the whole chimney with a clear coat sealant for free. Couldn't be happier.

They were able to schedule to have the work done within our short stay in Framingham.The price was reasonable for the job and the follow up was good. Our chimney was not built straight down and was in a very bad shape. The crew took a solid 4 hours to have the lining fitted through the chimney. The technician was very knowledgeable. He took time to show me pics and explained what they did.
