Gene worked over 2 days (1 full, 1 partial). He showed up at the time we agreed. He was very kind with my barky dogs. He was pleasant throughout and kept a steady pace of work (we were paying him hourly so I appreciated that). He used some materials from his truck and some that I had purchased. He cleaned up after himself. When he was done he went out to his truck and wrote up a detailed bill. His price seemed very reasonable to me for the amount of work he did.

I had called Gene Birk electrical since I had moved into a new house and had some electrical needs. They had sent me a welcome letter when I first moved in. I had gone onto Angie's list to get a recommendation for this but none was available. I called just the same. I made an appointment. The day before my appointment I received a call to inform me that Gean Birk would not be available to come out because he was in the hospital. However the next couple of days I couldn't help but notice that one of his trucks made it up and down my street two or three times. I never got a phone call to reschedule. Needless to say I never called back either.

He was a very nice guy and they were listed with no reports on them. They were very good. I am on hold with him for now because there is some emergency work that is being done by the plumber that I hired. I liked his professionalism and he was very punctual. He was very nice and he went through more than the electrical system that I actually thought of. He looked at some more issues which were more prominent and he was very nice guy. He was very knowledgeable and he told us what he could and couldn't do. I am waiting for my emergency issues to settle down and then I would work with him.
