RE/MAX TRADITIONS

In December 2011 my now wife and I started looking at houses. We started out by looking online and contacting sellers realtors and setting up appointments. We were lucky enough to run into Sue Flanagan from Remax Traditions in Bolton, MA. Although we did not end up having interest in the house Sue was showing, she was well prepared and showed us a few other houses that day. Having dealt with several real estate agents for showings of their properties, we knew we needed a buyer's agent to represent us. We also knew that Sue Flanagan was perfect for us. Sue showed us several properties in the area over the next few months. Most importantly, she always responded to us immediately, she always worked us into her schedule weekend after weekend, and she always tracked down the answers and documents we needed. Sue would give us her honest opinion on every property we saw. I never felt like I was getting a sales pitch, even after a few months of looking at properties. Eventually we found the house we were looking for. Sue represented us very well in negotiations, and always had our best interests in mind. Eventually we had an offer accepted. The next step was the home inspection. I did my research and found the most thorough inspector I could find. Sue was with us for the entire 5 hour inspection to provide us support. Towards the end of the home buying process we ran into some issues with repairs that were agreed to in the P&S agreement. We felt the seller's agent was unresponsive, and our mortgage lender was very rigid that the repairs be done to the letter of the law per our P&S. Sue took the lead, coordinated the repairs and the town inspectors, and provided this information to our mortgage company. Putting that all in one sentence does not do the work that she performed justice. With her hard work we were able to close on our house in the end of April 2012, and of course Sue made sure she was present at closing to see everything through.
