We initially contacted Lori for a color consult when painting our renovated home. Lori was an absolute pleasure to work with. She understood what we were looking for and made recommendations according to our tastes. The colors came out great. We were so impressed with Lori's knowledge and her ability to understand what we were looking for, that we hired her again when selecting granite and tile. Lori accompanied us to the tile store and helped us select tile and grout. The finished house looked fantastic. We would definitely work with Lori again!

We bought an Angieslist deal for the initial face-to-face consultation on the parameters of the job and things we might include, given different storage and design priorities. We then agreed on a followup contract for basement design discussion and 3d renders by phone and email. After a few weeks of work and agreement, we received a final PDF version to work from with a couple dozen design renders and working measurements. It was easy to work through and we're using them to get project quotes. (I considered using a interior design competition web site to reduce the overall cost, but would've sacrificed the confidence that the designer had seen our space in person.)

Lori was great. Her communication was excellent and she was very professional. She came in and helped me choose color schemes for my dated interior. She also gave me suggestions for changing out molding, blinds, and tile. Additionally she recommended a painter to help with the work.

Lori arrived on time, she spent more than an hour giving me suggestions for paint colors, window treatments, furniture, etc... She took notes and later sent me an email with all of her suggestions. Quite simply, Lori was excellent. She is very professional and knowledgeable.

Lori was accommodative with scheduling the appointment at a short notice. She gave me advices on choosing color for rooms and a bathroom and on placing wall art. She has been extremely good with following up by e-mail, when I asked her additional questions. I followed Lori's advise on wall color in some rooms, and unfortunately, I am not happy with the final result after painting. The dining and living rooms (with small windows and almost no sunlight) should be painted lighter or more cheerful (they now kind of gloomy). The bathroom (with lots of sunlight, white door and white window frame) could be painted more colorful (they are now white).

I was a little hesitant at first to go with someone that didn't have a LOT of experience; but Lori was great! She had lots of young and fresh ideas and was patient and honest! She won't just tell you what you want to hear; she'll give you the truth (that's what I wanted). She had some wonderful ideas. She is also very good with follow up emails. She was a delight to work with, and I would recommend her.

After a long process of searching for a second home in the city, we finally found our dream place. We decided that renovating it would be easier and less stressful if we hired a professional who would guise us with ideas, layout, and specific recommendations. To say that we would have not been able to complete this job without the talents and help of Lori, would be an understatement. As we live in another state, we would have never been able to materialize our thoughts, ideas and vision for the interior design of the space without the help and professionalism of a designer like Lori. Simply stated Lori went so far over and beyond our expectations of her job duties that we were able to go about our everyday lives, while enjoying this project without it seeming as a distraction. She turned what might seem a daunting undertaking into an enjoyable task. Her organizational skills, understanding of our needs, and implementation of her work created a final result that was far better than what we had hoped for. One of Lori's strongest traits is her ability to communicate. Not only was she in constant contact with us about updates, changes, and recommendations, but she was also continually reaching out to our contractor, electrician, plumber, and retail companies. We felt that Lori was proud of her work and that her utmost concern was her clients' satisfaction. Lori was ALWAYS easy to reach and responded almost immediately. Since Lori facilitated the entire project from demolition to decoration, we could write numerous specific examples of how impressed we were with the individual stages. Even more important to us was the fact that everything was completed with her pleasant smile, positive attitude, and warm demeanor. We are extremely happy with all of the services Lori provided for us, and felt she was well worth every penny spent!
