Description of Work: Stephen replaced rotted wood boards on the roof where the main house is attached to the addition. He did an awesome job! He also replaced my house gutters a few years before....Very professional and easy to work with.

Description of Work: I have a large house which is the reason for the cost. Steve is a contractor who answers his phone, calls you back if needed and also shows up on time! My house was built in the 70's and had the original roof. I was expecting to have some additional costs associated with such an old roof. Steve stuck to his original price even having to do extra work. Very meticulous. Did the job right. His staff was a very hard working polite group. First they protected the house and plants with tarps. Old shingles were stripped. Ended up getting new architectural shingles, new ridge vent cut in house, top quality ice & water shield 6' on all eaves, 3' on all valleys, new drip edge on eaves and rakes, underlayment on entire surface, new pipe flashings on plumbing vents. They even removed some of the vinyl siding to get the ice & water shield under it! After the job was completed, the entire area around the house was cleaned and swept with a magnet to pick up any stray nails. He told me it would be two days as they would do one section at a time. It was nice to see them totally completed in the quoted two days. I had other quotes that were quite a bit higher with their contracts being very complicated as far as extras. I had one quote that was lower but was not at all comfortable with that particular contractor and his proposal.
