Description of Work: I contacted Morgan over a year ago. The only problem we had experienced with the roof was that after an addition was put on the house we had occasional ice dams and had gotten water inside. They provided a quote and explanation which were good and clear. I had the estimator add a note to the quote specifying that I understood that the skylights are old and may need to be replaced in order to have the job completed properly and that I also understood that would be an additional charge. I accepted the quote. A couple o months went by. I called the office several times asking for a time estimate of when they would come. Eventually they did come. The job was completed in one day and looked very nice. Clean up was fair. The first time it rained water came in around the skylight. I called. After some time they came and looked and adjusted the flashing, adding sealant. It has now been an entire year and the skylight is still leaking. I called the office in October and left a very curt message that I would like to know how and when they planned to fix the problem, and that unless I heard from them by the following Monday my next calls would be to |Angie's list and the BBB. They called and stated that they had ordered a replacement which would be in by 11/4 and would be installed two weeks after that. They called to let me know the skylight came in. I have been waiting now for an additional month and there has been no call. I started out with an occasional ice dam leak and have ended up a year, many calls and $8000.00 later with water POURING into my bathroom every time it rains! I am extremely frustrated. I think that a wait of over a year is completely unacceptable. I have waited this long to review because I wanted to give them every chance to make it right.

Description of Work: Put in new new roof singles. Removed the gutters, front and back. Replaced any rotted facial boards for installation of aluminum gutters and downspouts.

 + -1 moreDone as quoted. Used better quality roofing. Slow to start because of rainy weather but when he started he added extra people to complete the work in one very long day. He used special netting to protect our landscaping. Very professional, well organized, and friendly. Two of our neighbors saw the work as it was being do e and hired him for their roofs. We highly recommend this company!

Unlike other quotes we received, they also took the time to explain the process and recommended the type of roofing material to use. It should be noted that the type recommended was not the most expensive type but the type best for our needs. They showed up on time the day of installation and did a great job both putting on the new roof and cleaning up after. I have recommended Morgan Construction to both neighbors and friends. One neighbor hired them and was as pleased with their work as we were. I would hire Morgan Construction again without hesitation.

 + -1 moreI was contacted immediately when I first requested a quote. A representative came to my house very soon after that contact and provided information and a proposal. After I faxed the proposal back to their office I called a couple of times with no response, waited weeks, received an erroneous call telling me my job would be done the following day (when, of course, no one showed up because I was not the customer scheduled for that day) then, finally, was called the next day to apologize for the wrong call and to schedule for the following day when the work was actually performed. The old roof was removed and the new on installed in one day, as projected when the estimate was given.

 + -1 moreThey salesmen were fine to work with and professional. I was frustrated with the crew they had working, I was not happy with their workmanship. There were a few issues with shingles hitting my neighbors house and a lot of things happened that should not have. They did come back and repaint areas that needed to be touched up.

We had a lot of rain so he added more people to the crew in order to get the roof done in one full day because our house was on the market. The crew was about 5 people and you could tell they worked well together and knew what they were doing. We were very happy with their services. They were the best! Two of our neighbors have used them since us. We had three other quotes and they had comparable pricing or a little less and they gave us a senior discount.
Description of Work: They took off the old roof down to the wood and put on a new architectural roof.

 + -1 moreOverall it was great. They stripped the roof, added a ridge vent and obviously put down new shingles. They started work first thing in the morning, took about 2 1/2 days, and cleaned up.
Description of Work: We had our roof replaced. They came out within a day or two of our calling to provide an estimate and started the work within a week of us deciding to move forward. They even brought out larger shingle sample board when we were undecided on which to choose.

 + 0 moreThe company was polite and professional on the phone when we asked for a quote. We talked to the staff and the owner during the project and found them all to be nice to deal with. They quickly sent someone to the site to do a cost estimate, we had the quote in a matter of days. The detail of the work to be conducted was through and the price was very good. They were helpful in helping us understand the differences in the quality of materials and the work that was being offered by the other companies. Of the 3 estimates we got, we selected this company because of the level of professionalism they showed and the confidence they gave us that they would do a great job. They were prompt in setting up the appointment to have the work done. The men worked liked dogs and quickly finished the task and if I were not home to see the roof was installed I would not have know they were there as the area was spotless when they left. They were very nice to work with, helpful in making roofing material choices, prompt and efficient. Most importantly they did a quality job. We referred them to 3 household who all used them and they were all pleased as well. I would highly recommend doing business with this company.

Description of Work: This is the second time Morgan Construction has done roofing work for us. A few years ago they put a new roof on our barn and did an excellent job. This time they re-roofed our house and detached garage. Our home had very old, large, and defunct solar panels that needed to be disconnected and removed by a plumbing company. Morgan construction sent a supervisor, Jim, to oversee the work of the plumbing company at no extra charge. Because of Jim's knowledge he was able to give good suggestions that saved time and money in the removal of the panels. Jim also oversaw the actual roofing job which looks beautiful. The men cleaned up the grounds afterwards. I highly recommend Morgan Construction!
