We hired Edmundo and his crew to add new, much larger windows in our kitchen. At our first meeting, he was thorough in both his questions and explanations. When he submitted his bid, it was detailed, clear and complete. From ordering the windows to arranging the house inspection, Edmundo was always present. As the work proceeded, Edmundo always was there at the start and finish of each day. I could talk to him any time. At the end of the project, everything was thoroughly cleaned up. I give him and his company 5 stars based on the following: Great communication, thorough and consistent Exceptional time management of project. On the nose with the start and finish time of work. He treats his crew with respect and in turn, the work they do is outstanding. They are clearly comfortable to talk to him about any issues that come up. I have plans to have him come back to renovate the kitchen.

He was a pleasure to work with , easy to talk to , answered all my questions. He is clearly committed to doing things by the book. The clean up was exceptional, leaving it better than before. We hired Excellence Home Improvement to do our extensive home renovation and addition project. This included a two-story addition, new garage, and complete gut and reno of the existing house all of which included 3 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms, full kitchen, mudroom, sunroom, deck and balcony. We had plans drawn up by an architect and provided those to four different builders for estimates. From the very beginning I had a great interaction with Eddie and his team and he was also reasonably priced which is why we decided to sign with him and were so glad we did. We worked with him for almost a year when it was all said and done and never once was disappointed. He and his workers and subcontracted groups were always professional, responsive, detail oriented, thorough, fast workers, and just overall friendly/kind people. Communication with Eddie was always easy, the Jobs were almost always completed on time and the few issues that arose were always quickly and fairly taken care of. I would absolutely work with them again and already have recommended them to multiple friends and family. You won’t go wrong hiring them.

Eddie was professional and informative during our initial consultation and really understood our vision. He was helpful explaining the pros and cons of different materials we were considering, helping us choose what was right for us and our budget. We received quotes from 4 different contractors for this job and Excellence was not the cheapest, nor the most expensive but Eddie presented very well. His proposal was itemized and highly detailed. Once hired, his crew was here 5 days a week, weather permitting and sometimes on Saturday. Alvaro, Raphael, and Leo were always respectful and great to work with. At the end of every day they did a thorough clean-up and complete magnet sweep of the yard. Eddie was very accessible throughout the project. He visited the site most days to check on his people, the work, and to make sure we were completely satisfied. I would not hesitate to use Excellence again and would absolutely recommend to my family and friends.

I contacted three companies to give an estimate for replacing our deck. The deck included steps, a bench, a planter and some fencing. Eddie stood out from the crowd. He came across as professional and knowledgeable and just generally gave the impression that he would do the job right and by the book. Soon after meeting he emailed a detailed proposal, responding quickly when I requested a few changes. He suggested a lumber yard where I could choose finishes and which strongly endorsed his work ethic. The job started and finished on schedule despite revealing a damp area at the back of our house which Eddie and his crew took care of. The deck turned out great and we couldn't be happier with the service we received. I would definitely recommend Excellence Home Improvement.

I got contacted by Eddie after searching for a contractor to remodel my kitchen on Angi. I didn’t know anyone who would warmly recommend their contractor so finding a good one seemed like a golden egg chase. I had planned to design the kitchen layout myself and order the cabinets from IKEA but I needed a contractor for all the other work. I decided to hire Eddie because he was the only contractor that would call when he said he would, give an estimate when he said he would and overall stay in touch. This was a good choice as my choice to go with an external cabinet seller brought on a lot of delays as the cabinets came one by one over a period of months. During this time, Eddie stayed in touch, actively checking in regularly. Once I got all the cabinets and was ready to start (months later), Eddie and his team were ready and got started asap. I live in a historical building so renovation do not come without surprises but Eddie was on top of everything. He saw everything through all the way to the end and I am extremely happy with my new kitchen. I am not planning to renovate another one anytime soon but if I had, I would hire Eddie again without a second thought. And now I can warmly recommend a great contractor to my contacts.

Eddie (our contractor) and his team at Excellence Home Improvement were amazing to work with! We broke ground on the foundation back in October of 2022 to add to our basement, first floor, and second floor of our house. The project was completed by the end of March 2023. Eddie was wonderful with communication and kept us updated each step of the way. His workers were friendly, polite, considerate, and worked efficiently. We were able to still live in our residence during the entire project with limited effects to our day to day life. If anything needed to be moved for the next step in the project, we were given plenty of notice to move items or furniture to keep the project moving. We have a swirl design on our ceilings throughout the entire house and I was amazed how well his employees were able to match it, so much so that it feels like a natural transition. Eddie and his team went above and beyond and helped us with any furniture that needed to be moved or put in the dumpster. Excellence Home Improvement is a wonderful company and we would hire them again in a heartbeat for any future projects!

The owner Eddie responded quickly when I had any questions or concerns. It is important to Eddie that his clients feel good about the work his crew does. His crew cleaned up every day and completed the project in a timely manner. The room looks great and I am pleased with the work done. I would hire Excellence Home Improvement again and recommend them anyone needing renovations to their home.

We had a wonderful experience with Excellence. Everything was transparent, communication was consistent, and the work top notch. The team was accommodating (we have a busy household with three young children and three dogs!) and respectful. Each day they arrived when they said they would and cleaned-up each night, making sure that the space they were working in was tidy and safe until they came back. The project was smooth overall. I requested a change part way through, which required work that was completed to be removed and replaced, and that was met without concern and addressed efficiently. Eddie is beyond pleasant. He is thoughtful, respectful, communicates regularly, and is extremely helpful. In fact, during this project we had an unexpected plumbing problem (unrelated to this project) and he connected us with the plumber he uses regularly and who came to our home and fixed our problem right away. As a busy working mom I was grateful for Eddie's help with that problem! Our project was priced fairly, and in fact, below what we had been quoted by others. Even with a few changes, any cost implications were clearly communicated. In addition, if there was an opportunity to save money or maximize our budget, Eddie was more than happy to tell us! The Excellence team/sub-contractors are top-notch - also respectful and thoughtful. I felt entirely comfortable with this team in my home. I give Excellence an A++. When we are ready for our next home improvement project, we'll turn to them without hesitation.

Eddie and his team at Excellence home improvement did a great job. Since my family was living at the house through construction they were extremely considerate about keeping the work clean and contained as much as possible. All of the trades were thorough and efficient in their work. Eddie was great about keeping us updated on the schedule and progress of the work. When the job was complete he made sure to review everything and make sure we were happy about how the work was performed. He truly cares and that made us feel especially confident in the work throughout the construction process. I would highly recommend.

An amazing experience. As first time homeowners we were very anxious about hiring someone to do a major renovation on our home. Eddie and his team immediately made us feel relaxed and I was so impressed by his ability to clearly explain the process and the details of every step. The end result was a phenomenal new laundry room that exceeded our expectations in every way! And even after the job was done Eddie followed up to make sure that things were still in good shape and made sure to answer questions we had. The experience was so good we’ve already hired Excellence Home Improvement to work on our next major renovation!

Excellent Eddie and his team were great did the job within the timeframe that was established. Excellent clean up from porches demo. Price was exactly what the estimate was no hidden costs they even did a couple of extras along the way. Price wise they were not the highest or lowest price was very happy with the cost. Would definitely use this company again and would recommend them for any work that needs to be done. I was very happy with everything that this company did. Great job

Can’t give enough praise to Eddie and his team. From start to finish they were all fantastic! Communication was great and any and all concerns were addressed promptly. The work they did was beautifully done at a fair price. Done on time and in budget. I will be hiring them again for any and all home improvement needs.

My husband and I turned a spare bedroom into a bathroom. Eddie and his team were extremely professional, punctual, and did an outstanding job. We have an 18 month old daughter and felt extremely comfortable with Eddie and his subcontractors coming into our home even when we weren’t there. Since finishing our brand new bathroom, we’ve hired Eddie to do some additional work. I highly recommend Excellence Home Improvement to any homeowner interested in renovating no matter how big or small the project is.

Their name says it all. The did great work, were on time, and communicated well. It was a small job that we had been struggling to find someone who was willing to take on. Excellence was up front that because it was a small job it may take some creative scheduling, but they were willing to do it. In the end, they did the job in a couple of days. I would highly recommend them for more work and would definitely hire them to work on our house again.

Eddie and his team did a fantastic job restoring my hardwood floors and re-finishing my basement after the home suffered severe water damage from a frozen pipe this winter. He and his team were very fast getting the work done and it was high quality. Eddie is very approachable and professional. I’m satisfied with my experience and will use Excellence Home Improvement for my next project.

I cannot say enough about Excellence Home Improvement LLC. Eddie and his crew did an excellent job. Communication was phenomenal. They were here when they said they would be, worked 8-10 hours a day. Work site cleaned up at end of day and left in broom clean condition-every day!! Project price was fair. No surprise costs added at end of contract. All workers were very polite and courteous. They asked questions to make sure it was done the way I wanted it. I could go on and on about this crew. They went above and beyond to ensure I had the bathroom I wanted and it came out so much better than my expectations. Hire them and I promise you will not be disappointed! It’s hard to find a contractor that you can trust - I feel very fortunate to have found this one— you won’t find any that are as honest , fair and hardworking as Excellence Home Improvement.

The project went swell and I absolutely love my kitchen now! It is so fresh and I feel so fancy! Eddie and his team did a fantastic job with the repairs to the rear of my home. Water damage due to an aging flat roof required extensive work to remediate, including ceiling replacement, new headers, new flat roof and deck. While the scope of the work expanded as we dug in, Eddie kept me informed of options and what was needed to correctly make things right. He was great to work with. The project started on time, and finished well within the promised window. Site was cleaned up each day, and we love the finished work. I highly recommend Eddie, and he's now worked with two of my neighbors.
