I found this contractor though an Angie's List coupon. We had 4 rooms painted. Bob took great care in getting the job done as quickly as possible. The painters were neat and cleaned up when the job was done. They showed up on time and kept to the schedule. I was very happy with the results. I would definitely use this contractor again.

The painting work went very well. Rob was punctual, professional, and did a great job on our kitchen and some additional trim work.

This service was through an Angie's List deal for 8 hours of interior painting for $199. There were no hassles - scheduling took 2 quick phone calls, Rob showed up when he said he would, was pleasant, and completed everything we asked in an efficient and tidy manner, and now I can cross painting the basement off of my to-do list! :)

Very professional team completed work quickly. They had extra time to work on a couple of additional painting projects. Very much appreciated their efforts.

Had some initial problems with scheduling, but after initial hurdles, was responsive, came right on time and work was high quality. Would definitely use again.

I bought a coupon through Angie's List back in April and it took FOREVER to get my appt booked. I was told it could be done in the next few weeks innitially, but there was no follow-up to make the appt. About two months later, I called again and the same thing happened - I was told my call would be returned and it wasn't. Finally I was able to get an appointment in August. That was all very annoying since chasing down people is hardly very fun. However, once they came to do the job they were quick, clean (although there were a few speckles of paint which fell to my stairs) and their paint job was truly beautiful. And the painters were really nice and apologetic for the delay. Ultimately, the job got done, I got a discount (because of the coupon) and they did a beautiful job (thus my "B" score). It was just a bit of a drag to have to chase them down a bit.

We are pleased and asked him for additional quotes. The quotes came the next day by email . We hope to use him for future painting.

Rob arrived on time...work diligently and had a great personality. No mess was left and the job was perfect!

The Venuti son came to do the work and did a wonderful job, even up to my exacting standards - the best I have ever seen. He was pleasant to work with and prompt. My only issue is that I had skimped on paint and asked on his arrival if he thought I had enough. He said yes, but we ended up making 3 different rush trips to the paint store to replenish each of the three types of paint we were working with.

Rob arrived exactly on time and got right to work. He was professional, fast and the room looks great. This was a pretty small job in the scheme of things, but Rob completed it much faster than estimated - even doing two coats. We will absolutely use Affordable next time we need painting done!

We bought Affordable Painting's $199 daily deal: An interior painter for the day. It was mixed experience. Owner Bob Venuti is an terrific painter who takes pride in his work. At the same time, my wife and I found him difficult to work with. He refused, for example, to paint any new trim where the walls were already painted. He also left early, and when I called for an explanation, he hung up on me. He did issue the partial refund I requested after dispute resolution from Angie's List. That said, others have had a much better experience, and I can see how. He did excellent work. And if I was paying by the project, not the hour, I'd admire his uncompromising standards. But the terms of his Daily Deal required both of us to make compromises, and that just wasn't his style.

Bob showed up with a partner a couple minutes early of their scheduled arrival. I purchased a deal through angie's list for 4 hours of interior painting for $199. They completed the job I asked them to do in less then 4 hours and everything looked great. They cleaned up all their mess and left me a very satisfied customer. Thanks!

We had to reschedule a couple of times, and I was so picky about the paint color I ended up picking it up from the store myself. Very happy with the work!

The whole experience went great. Company was responsive, friendly, punctual and did a great job. We love how both rooms look. We have already received an estimate from them to paint/stain our fence. We plan on using them again. I would recommend Affordable Paining.

Overall I was very impressed with their work! Luckily I got an even better deal because of a special Angie's List offer... The offer was for 8 hours (or 4 hours, 2 people) of their labor for a reduced price. I contacted them via email and they responded in a reasonable amount of time. I communicated the work I was looking for and they made recommendations on the type and amounts of paint to purchase. They also said they have ceiling paint and could simply use that if I wanted, and they would just charge for the amount they used. They said they would arrive at 7:30 am and they arrived about ten minutes early - perfect. Two very nice guys (father and son), introduced themselves, took a look at the work to perform and got started right away. Note that I removed all the wall hangings & drapes, shuffled the large furniture around to clean under them ahead of time (hardwood floors). They said they would move the furniture around and I wouldn't have to do that. they prep'd the walls, removed all brackets, plug covers, etc. I work at home and didn't know what to expect as far as noise. I didn't really even notice they were in my house. Very quiet. Asked a couple of simple questions along the way - couldn't be more polite and personable. They did two coats on the walls and (I think) one coat on the ceilings. My son and I thoroughly inspected the work they did and we could not fine one problem! How often do you ever hear that? All the furniture was put back where it was, plug covers, etc. put back, and they left the place just as it was before they arrived. Couldn't ask for a better experience. I'd highly recommend them, and will use them again in the future.

Everything went great. They showed up when they said, they cleaned up, reinstalled the fixtures, and I'm very happy with the quality of work.

I was very impressed with them. I was on a very tight time line and they were able to work with me and make sure that they could paint the room in a timely manner so that it could fit in with my time line. They were very friendly and got back to me very quickly. They were very flexible. They did a good job of it and it turned out very well. I will use them in the future.

We then added painting for some shelving of a closet and instead he painted the walls of the closet. The walls did not need the paint, but he wanted to charge us $150 for the work. We paid him the money after threats of suing and his over aggressiveness. We would not recommend him to others.

They did a great job painting and job was done very quickly. He was very responsive. They were very nice and worked hard to get us done. The owner was very nice to work with. He really worked around our schedule. He was pleasant even though my kids were around.
