+ 0 moreHe hurt his back and couldn't finish the job, but he wanted to get paid for what he did. I wasn't sure what he did, but I paid him. The wall fell down and blamed me. He did a good job on the irrigation system. He was punctual.
Description of Work: Dan Spencer of Spencer Associates put in an irrigation system, and a matching rock wall.

Description of Work: I called and left a message of the work I wanted to have done. Daniel Spencer returned my call and said he would call me by the end of the week. He never called back.

Description of Work: I hired Dan Spencer of Spencer Associates to repair the cement stairs and walkway at my mother's home. I was given his name by the Better Business Bureau as someone that they would recommend. My mother's stairs were in bad shape, crumbling and breaking down from the cement being compromised by many years of exposure to water and ice. He came out on a Sunday to give me an estimate which was realistic and reasonable. I could not be happier with his work ethic and the quality of the work done. The steps are safe and look as beautiful today as they did last year, even after this challenging winter.

+ 0 moreEverything went extremely well. Their professionalism, quality of work and respect for my property was unparalleled. They arrived on time each day, worked in all types of weather and their follow through and attention to detail were amazing. I would highly recommend Spencer Associates for stonework and masonry work and anything else that needs to be done. The owner is a licensed master mason. He and his crew have a great work ethic as well as many, many years of knowledge and experience. The steps and retaining walls came out beautifully and I know that they are done right.
Description of Work: I hired Spencer Associates to repair my front steps and retaining walls that were old and in disrepair at my mother's house in Manchester.
