For initial appointment to show him the work, he did not show up. He apologized and rescheduled, and was very responsive after, by both phone and text. He's a pleasant man who has a lot of folks working for him. Overall he was fair: provided receipts for all materials purchases and charged exact materials costs, and charged for labor at a daily rate (units of whole days) for the work. Where he saw various options (at a variety of levels of quality and/or cost) he brought them up and discussed them to make sure that we were moving forward as I preferred. When I had questions about the quality of a piece of work he was happy to discuss and have it corrected. All debris from the job was left on-site, and he offered to remove for the split cost of a dumpster at an extra fee - be sure to discuss this in advance. When there was debris left in the garage from the work, his guys used our lawn bags to pack it away instead of either bringing their own trash bags or asking for some. Communication could have been a bit improved between his workers and us as the job was completed: discussing the trash and debris management, letting us know when work was done and they were leaving for the day (especially when I was on-site specifically during the work, only to realize they'd left and never let me know). I suggest customers be proactive re: communication, but he's very affordable if you are project managing your own job.

It was great. Mark was just easy to communicate with. He did a really good job. They just worked until they were done.

Mark did a nice job installing pull down stairs for our attic. He navigated through some issues of our 100+ year old house and made sure everything is solid. Would hire again.

He worked quickly and he's reasonably priced. He did good.
